Silent Heroes Laugh the Loudest

The twilight over Lookout Landing glowed warm and golden, painting the rebuilt walls in a soft halo. For once, there were no monsters, no shrines demanding attention, no restless adventuring, just peace. Link sat with his back against a pile of folded blankets, head tilted back, eyes half-closed.

Princess Zelda, however, wasn't so inclined toward stillness. She leaned into him, cheek brushing his shoulder, arms looping lazily around his waist. Her fingers tapped an idle rhythm against his tunic, and a sly smile tugged at her lips.

She could feel his chest rise and fall steadily. How serene he looked... how tempting that composure was to unravel.

Her hand lingered just a moment too long near his ribs, and she thought, with no small amount of delight, "I think I'll have a little fun with my Hero. Why not?"

Her fingertips grazed his ribs, slow and deliberate. Not a forceful jab, just the lightest dance of her nails over fabric. Link twitched before he could stop himself, his breath catching.

"Ohhh..." Zelda purred near his ear, her voice feather-light. "Are you ticklish~?"

He didn't answer, of course. He never did. But the scrunch of his nose and the way his lips twitched against a smile were more telling than words. Zelda's grin widened as she let her fingers drift again, scribbling lightly across his ribcage.

He shook his head as if to deny it, but his body betrayed him, shoulders rising instinctively to shield himself. A little breathy sound slipped out, half-laugh and half-whine, and Zelda's heart melted.

She pressed a soft kiss against his temple, then another along the curve of his neck. "Oh, Link," she chuckled softly, "you're far too easy to read~."

His chest quivered as she scratched with her nails just lightly enough to send sparks racing over his nerves. When the first giggles spilled from him, Zelda hummed, satisfied, pulling him closer into her embrace.

Zelda's sweet affection gave way to something more mischievous. Her arms cinched tight in a strong hug around him, anchoring him against her. He wasn't escaping, not unless she allowed it.

Her fingers darted lower, skimming over his stomach and chest. The reaction was immediate. A strangled titter escaped, his hands flying instinctively to push her away. She only laughed, her cheek brushing his.

"Oh, darling... only you get this side of me." She whispered the words like a secret, punctuating them with a sudden squeeze to his side that made him squeal. "You get me at my most ruthless."

His laughter spilled free, bright and unstoppable, wracking his body as Zelda shifted from chest to belly in relentless patterns.

"You know," she teased, voice warm with pride, "I'm a killer of a tickler, aren't I~?"

Link threw his head back, laughter tearing from his throat. His silent Hero façade crumbled into helplessness as Zelda kept up her merciless rhythm.

Zelda's curiosity took hold, an experimenter's spark glimmering in her eyes. "Let's see just where you're hiding your weaknesses..." she murmured.

Her fingers trailed up, brushing the hollows of his underarms. Link jolted violently, laughter bursting sharp and loud, arms clamping down instinctively. Zelda chuckled, kissing his jaw. "Ohhh, that's a good one~."

She moved to his ears next, only ghosting her nails along the curve. His laughter softened into squeaky titters, his shoulder hunching up adorably as he tried to shield himself. She nuzzled his neck between attacks, gentle and affectionate.

Her hands slipped lower, skimming over hips and thighs. Link bucked, his laughter exploding into frantic cackles. Zelda gasped dramatically, delighted. "Well! Someone's far more sensitive than he lets on."

She clung to him tightly, letting him squirm but never break free. Her kisses scattered across his cheek and neck in between attacks, an intoxicating mix of affection and torment.

Every sound he made, from the smallest giggle to the wildest shriek, only egged her on. His composure, his heroic silence, all shattered in her arms, and Zelda loved every moment of it.

Zelda knew precisely where she wanted to go next. Her fingers hovered, threatening, just above his waistband. She felt him tense, the way his laughter hitched nervously before she'd even touched him.

"Oh... here, isn't it~?" she teased. "Your worst spot~."

Her fingers scribbled suddenly across his lower stomach. Link instantly screamed, high-pitched, unrestrained, and bucked so hard that Zelda had to tighten her hold to keep him from slipping free.

His laughter poured out in wild, hysterical streams, no rhythm, no control, just pure cackling desperation. Zelda's smile was radiant, her giggles mixing with his. "Look at you~! My silent Hero, broken in seconds flat~!"

She alternated between light scribbles and pressing her thumbs firmly into the tender muscle, massaging just enough to make him thrash. Each technique sent him spiraling, kicking, his face red and tear-streaked with unrelenting laughter.

Zelda kissed along his jaw as she worked him over, her voice low and teasing. "So strong and composed... and yet here, you're absolutely hopeless~."

He screamed again, laughter shattering the night air, and Zelda hugged him tighter, her own heart racing with joy. This was theirs! His laughter, her merciless play, their love through every relentless touch.

At last, Zelda relented. Her fingers slowed, then stopped, resting softly on his chest. Link collapsed against her, body still twitching with leftover giggles, his breath ragged.

"Shhh," she murmured, stroking his hair back from his forehead. She pressed a gentle kiss to his temple, then another to his cheek, then the warm curve of his neck. "There, there... You did so well."

Her arms wrapped around him fully now, no longer confining but cradling. She rocked him slightly, soothing, her lips trailing soft kisses along his hairline. "You're so adorable when you laugh like that. I hope you know."

Link buried his face against her chest, shoulders shaking with the final remnants of helpless laughter. Zelda only held him tighter, heart swelling with tenderness.

Every ounce of her earlier ruthlessness had melted into pure, glowing care. She whispered softly, petting Link's hair, until his giggles faded into quiet hiccups. He was safe, warm, and adored.

Zelda leaned back against the blankets, tugging him down with her until they were curled together under the fading light. Her fingertips brushed soothing circles along his spine.

"Mmm... careful, Hero~" she teased lightly, kissing the crown of his head. "I might have to strike again when you least expect it~!"

Link groaned into her tunic, a whiny sound with some laughter. Zelda only giggled, hugging him closer.

The two of them drifted into quiet, the night air cool around them. All that lingered was warmth. She held him in her embrace, secure in the bond that tied them unshakably together.

I’ve really been meaning to start posting fics on here. I figured why not start with posting an old one of mine from ao3.

ANYWAYSSS this was my first tickle fic I ever wrote. Have some sidlink tickles! There just aren’t enough of these two.

Just Smile

~ in which Sidon wishes Link would smile more (and gets exactly what he wants) ~

Sidon found himself gazing at the small Hylian next to him, taking in his features. Link had shown up at the Domain for a visit that afternoon, and the two of them had spent the entire day talking about anything and everything, eventually making their way to the pier at East Reservoir Lake. They now sat at the end of the pier, after a couple hours spent floating in the cool waters, which were now spotted with the reflections of stars in the darkening sky.

Link was always so serious, a stone expression that seemed to carry the weight of unspoken burdens. That wasn’t to say he was never happy, the champion would often allow small, closed-mouth smiles to grace his face at times he deemed appropriate, yet it always appeared somewhat pained, or forced. Occasionally, however, something more natural would briefly emerge. It would only happen in certain moments, a swift flash of teeth, upturned lips, and brightened blue eyes. It would appear in the victory of a catch, when he and Sidon would go out searching for hot-footed frogs to give to the children of Zora’s Domain. It would appear when Sidon had made a particularly funny remark, or more often when he made a fool of himself. Sidon would take in as much of Link’s face as he could in those moments, although he would often be left feeling somewhat crestfallen as the smile seemed to disappear as soon as it had manifested.

Only once had Sidon ever seen Link laugh- beyond slight chuckles masked by a hand or bit of clothing, that is. It was on a day like this one, Link had visited, and the two had decided to try their luck fishing in the Rutala river. As Sidon was preparing to dive for a particularly plump-looking armoured carp, he was left stunned by a loud bang, followed by a dead fish flying directly into his face. Sidon sputtered, pulling scales away from his lips, and he found himself frozen in place as he looked over to the Hylian on the river bank, surrounded by dead, floating fish, Sheikah slate in-hand. Link’s shoulders shook, his head thrown back as musical laughter flooded from his mouth, his cheeks tinged a pinkish colour, and goddess he was so beautiful.

Ever since that moment, Sidon had subconsciously-or maybe a little consciously-made it his goal to hear that laugh as often as he could. It turned out to be no easy feat, and he hadn’t been able to make it happen since that moment with the remote bombs. Sidon could coax out small huffs of laughter here and there, but what was most infuriating was Link would always try to hide it, casting his gaze downward and allowing his hair to shield his face, or turning away and chuckling into his shoulder, the sound always muffled.

Goddess, this boy was impossible. Why couldn’t he just let himself be happy? What did he have to hide?

Sidon felt that question eating away at his mind, as he and Link sat with their legs dangling into the water. Sidon was submerged up to the middle of his calves, but Link's toes barely punctured the surface, their height difference evident as ever. As the two chatted, Sidon brought up that moment at the river, and Link smiled as he recalled the memory. Yet, once again, Link looked away as if to hide his joyful reaction.

Link peered up at Sidon, a quizzical look appearing in the form of a pinched brow, as he noticed the prince had been watching him.

Sidon felt a slight warmth blossom in his chest.

“Uhm...Link I-...I have found myself wondering...why is it that you always hide your smile?”

Link was a Hylian of few words. It wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy speaking, he just felt that words seemed to always evade him, and he had a hard time making verbal sense of his thoughts. With Sidon, however, he found that speech came to him much more naturally than it did with others around.

“Not sure. I guess I...“ Link trailed off, looking away from Sidon to take an interest in his palms, which were fiddling with each other in his lap. Being open about his true feelings was something foreign to him. After a recent visit to Kakariko Village, Impa had to nearly threaten Link with his life to get him to open up. Something about harbouring your hardships, growing a bitter soul...Link couldn’t remember exactly, but, he knew she had a point. Plus, talking felt good after a while. “I guess I feel like...I just have so much responsibility. There’s so much that depends on me, and if I let myself have fun, then...” Link paused, bringing a hand up to rub anxiously at the back of his neck. Sidon took a moment to notice the goosebumps that rippled along his scarred shoulders, which were bare as Link had stripped down to his boxers for their swim earlier.

He let out a soft sigh.

“If I enjoy myself too much, I feel that I’m neglecting those responsibilities. There’s so many bad things going on in the world, and a lot of it is up to me to fix. How can I be sitting here, laughing and smiling, when all of this is going on? What sort of hero does that make me?”

A feeling of sadness tugged at Sidon’s heart. Link was so important to him. He did so much good, he didn’t deserve the weight that his shoulders carried.

Link gasped as Sidon grabbed for his shoulders, turning his body to face him, maybe a little too forcefully. Link felt his cheeks grow warm under the intensity of the zora prince’s gaze. Sidon noticed a flutter in his belly as his large hands almost completely enveloped Link’s frame. The Hylian really was tiny.

“Link. Don’t ever think that you aren’t deserving of happiness. Bad things are always happening in the world,” Sidon slid his hands from the side of Link’s shoulders, coming to rest them on top, on either side of his neck. “You cannot fix all of them at once, and just because they’re happening, does not mean you can’t still experience joy!”

Link looked away once more, feeling moisture begin to prick at the corners of his eyes, muttering in a small voice, “I’m not so sure about that...”

“Well I am!” Sidon removed a hand to cup link’s cheek, bringing his face back to look him in the eye. The prince could have melted at the sight, Link’s round, blue eyes glistening with the hint of tears, his lips turned down slightly in a soft pout. “You have done so much for Hyrule, more than any other person I know and...certainly more than me.” A single tear managed to escape, rolling slowly down the porcelain curve of the champion’s face. In a motion to catch the tear, wipe it away before it could fall, Sidon swiped a finger down along Link’s jawline. However, as his claw passed by the spot just below his ear, he stopped. Link had flinched ever so slightly, the right corner of his mouth twitching up for half a second. It was a moment that would have been missed had Sidon not been so fixed on the Hylian's face.

“Are you alright? Did I hurt you?”

The pink that lingered in Link’s cheeks seemed to spread to his pointed ears as Sidon spoke.

“U-Uhm...no. I mean yea, I’m fine. You didn’t hurt me.”

Excitement sparked within Sidon as he pieced the moment together. “You know Link, you really should smile more. Laugh, especially. It can’t be healthy to hold so much stress with no release.” There was no hiding the grin that took over his face.

Sidon relished in the look on Link’s face, as it shifted from confusion to realization to panic in one swift second. Link’s pinkness flushed deeper, taking on a more reddish hue. “S-Sidon, I don’t know what you mean.” The Hylian began to shift nervously in the large zora’s hold, which tightened gently on his shoulders.

The red zora chuckled. “Nonsense. Come here.”

He reached to pull the Hylian closer, but Link scrambled to his feet, turning on his heels in an attempt to bolt out of reach, but Sidon took hold of his ankle and yanked him back, careful so as to not injure him. Sidon’s enormous size and strength allowed him to easily grab Link by the waist and plop him right into his lap, cradling his back with one arm, taking hold of the champion’s thin wrist at his side, the other one trapped between himself and Sidon’s torso.

Sidon tapped his chin, making sure to take on a thoughtful expression, humming, “Now, it was a long time ago, but I do believe I can recall Mipha and I used to play a game quite like this when I was young. Although, I was always on the receiving end. It never failed to cheer me up.”

Link flushed even deeper, if that was possible, and felt a swarm of nervous butterflies dip into his stomach, as he attempted to tug his wrist from Sidon’s grip. It did not budge remotely. “I-I’m not sure I understand.” Link feigned confusion, biting his lip to suppress the involuntary smile that was already threatening to emerge.

Sidon tsked , looking down at Link in a near predatory fashion that made his stomach tie in knots. “Oh, I think you do. And this may just work, if that little reaction you gave me earlier is anything to go on.”

Sidon raised his free arm, wiggling his fingers in the air, before slowly lowering it towards Link’s exposed stomach. Before he was even halfway there, the Hylian dissolved into a mess of anticipatory stammers, a smile creeping onto his face against his own volition, squirming helplessly in the zora’s hold. Sidon’s heart nearly leaped from his chest the moment that rare smile erupted on his dear friend’s face. However, this did not shake the mischievous mood he’d found himself in.

“My! I have yet to even touch you! Just how sensitive are Hylians anyway?”

The teasing turned Link into a puddle of redness and a toothy smile, as he turned to hide his blushing face in his shoulder. “Sh-shut up!”

While Link was snickering lightly before, it was nothing compared to the giggles that exploded forth once Sidon’s clawed hand made contact with his pale waist. Link’s back arched, grinning as wide as ever as Sidon spidered along his belly. The zora prince took his time exploring Link’s torso, admiring the softness of his skin, the toned divots of his abs. Trailing his claws within said divots seemed to pull out especially sweet sounds, as Link’s giggles raised several octaves in pitch. Sidon found himself laughing along with the Hylian in his arms, completely taken with the mirthful expressions on his face. What Sidon didn’t predict was Link bucking so hard that he managed to roll out of his lap, when Sidon randomly moved to twirl a finger around his belly button, eliciting a squeal of laughter.

Link panted, his back pressed against the cool surface of the pier. Little giggles continued to slip out, and there was no removing the grin on his face.

“Oh? And you thought I was finished with you?”

Link yelped in surprise as Sidon rolled on top of him, straddling the Hylian and effectively trapping him beneath his large form.

“Sidon, no! P-please no more!” Link stammered, still grinning and blushing madly, especially being in such a position with the prince.

Sidon remained silent, his intent clear in the look in his eyes, as he took link’s wrists easily into one hand, raising them high above his head. Link’s eyes had been squeezed tightly shut for the past few moments, and when no torturous sensations came, he tentatively opened them. Sidon’s gaze appeared to be scanning Link’s entire body, lingering on his soft belly, then his neck. His pupils seemed to expand larger, his yellow irises thinning as the deep black took over.

Link was here. Beneath him. Grinning, heaving, ears and cheeks flushed red, exposed.

Link’s smile vanished. “S-Sidon...” Their eyes connected.

Before Link could even make sense of what was going on, Sidon had quickly dipped his head and placed a huge raspberry right on his belly button. Link positively shrieked. He threw his head back as laughter overtook his entire body, his legs kicking out behind him and Sidon. The prince sat back up, bringing his free hand back to squeeze and spider along Link’s hips. He had reduced the hero of Hyrule to a heap of laughter and nothing more. Sidon released Link’s wrists, bringing his other hand to join the torture. Link instinctively shot his arms down to protect himself, but he was so weak and disoriented from laughing that all he could do was swat half heartedly. His pleas were incoherent, and the need to breathe quickly washed over him. In a panicked moment, without much thought at all, he grabbed Sidon by the fins on the side of his face, pulling him down into a kiss, giggles spilling into the zora’s mouth.

Sidon froze, propping himself up with his hands on the ground, on either side of Link’s head. As Link inhaled precious bouts of air, and his giggles calmed, he realized what he’d just done. He looked up at Sidon. The prince was staring, cheeks a bright shade of blue.

Huh. Zoras really do blush in blue.

Link felt a different type of panic set in, regret quickly pitting in his chest. “Sidon! I’m so sorry I-“

He was cut off abruptly, as Sidon swooped down to kiss Link deeply. The shock melted, and Link’s hands raised to grasp at the back of the zora’s neck. Sidon’s own hands found purchase, one in Link’s hair, the other grasping at the dip of his waist. Eventually, they both broke away, panting.

“I...” Link was at a loss.

“I love you.”

Link almost didn’t register what Sidon had said, wanting to pinch himself, to see if this was reality. No, this was real. It was real.

“I love you too.”

Sidon bent down to kiss Link again, softly, peppering smiling kisses down along his jaw. Link grinned incredulously.

Maybe he should start smiling more.

The princess hummed in comfort as she and her knight cradled each other in their quaint house.

Flittering light embraced them through the window, shining softly along the wall Link leant upon as they kissed and held one another close.

Each gentle kiss they shared a haven of tender and caring intimacy, like they were in a world of their own, wrapped in love and safety.

They parted lips once more, Zelda leaning into him and holding her head low at the side of his, closing her eyes and swaying away into the moment.

The light breath prickled along the hairs on his neck, he tenderly travelled his hands along the blades of her shoulders, embracing her as the taller brought her lips to the end of his jaw.

Zelda delicately peppered her soft kisses along his skin, wandering slowly down his neck.

Link shivered slightly, a light buzz fluttering across his nerves, pulling his lips into a curl as he leant into the touch.

He choked a little as she travelled further down, trying his best not to giggle and maintain his composure. The princess smiled through her kisses, noting his reaction and moving back up the knight’s sensitive neck teasingly.

With this the boy crumbled and scrunched his shoulder up with a whine, giggles falling out of him helplessly as he shuffled, his hold on his girlfriend tightening gently.

Link fought the instinctual urge to struggle as he squeaked and tittered at each kiss to the vulnerable skin. He felt so sensitive, almost embarrassed — but the feeling of her affection, their closeness, the floral smell of her hair, the warm sun enveloping the both of them; he didn’t want this to end.

Elegant lips met his own once again, melting into a silky kiss as they fluttered their eyes, gazing into another’s as he settled again.

She would fall for those blue eyes forever. The princess smiled affectionately and shut her own, carefully gliding her hands down Link’s back and cradling him as she snuck to his stomach.

The caress of her fingers felt like feathers against his skin once she slipped them underneath his shirt, he gasped slightly before biting his lips in an effort to stay quiet, and she leant in to kiss him once again.

His breath continued to waver as her slender fingers grazed the supple skin, tracing and softly walking along his waist. The boy fought to suppress the quiet snickers escaping his lips, his stomach sucking in almost shyly from the teasing contact.

His sweet sounds of joy felt like music as she felt his skin tremble under her touch, her smile curling into a smirk as her passion met with a tender playfulness.

A quiet chuckle of her own left her as she started, daintily spidering along his tummy, pressing her fingertips unbearably lightly into his abs.

Link flinched hard, a squeal breaking from his lips as giggles spilled giddily out of him, muffled through their kiss.

The knight squirmed under her, flustered heat rising to his ears and spreading across his cheeks. He dug his heel into the wooden floorboards as he struggled not to separate their lips.

Zelda adored this. Adored him. His bright and cheesy smile, his breathy laughter, his endearing determination to stay kissing her as she tickled the life out of him. Oh, he was so perfect. How this boy could be so was unknown to her.

She gazed at him, his squinting eyes full of mirth and his dirty blonde hair that’d been messed a little in their affection - stray hairs tickled her cheeks as she smiled.

She slowly leant her head away to admire him further, losing herself in the study of his features as his giggles died down, leaving him with a sun-like smile and an endearingly shy look in his eyes as he gazed back at her.

“Hylia,” she sighed wistfully, “how is the kingdom in the hands of a boy this adorable?” The scholar giggled as Link hung his head down in embarrassment, relying on his ruffled bangs to shade the happy grin glued to his face.

“—M not cuhute…” He attempted to grumble.

Zelda scoffed and giggled more as she spoke, narrowing her eyes, “Oh yeah?” The knight’s flickered over to meet hers as he recognised the tone in her voice.

She started, “Sooo….” Her eyes wandered to his side as she slowly walked two fingers up it. Zelda continued to giggle at him and his sudden tension, his quivering smile, his poorly stifled giggles.

She softly inched her fingers further and further up his torso, her other hand now sneaking for the opposite side.

Shivers rushed down his spine and crawled along his skin, anticipation absolutely destroying him inside.

“Z-Zehelda don’t—!” This only earned a pitiful coo from the princess.

He fumbled in panic, “Uh— I-I’ll kiss you!” and gave her a peck before quickly pulling back to assure her more, “See yohou don’t hahave to—” He met her lips again - this time significantly gigglier and clumsier.

The princess laughed at his antics and twitched her fingers feigning innocence, lightly digging into his underarms repeatedly - provoking him with an ever-growing smile.

He shrieked and threw himself and his hands frantically to grasp her wrists, gently of course— as he shrank into her, giggling uncontrollably with a pleading look in his eyes.

“Nn—Noho! No! Please!” He whimpered slightly through high-pitched and futilely withheld laughter.

She hummed softly, as if she were in consideration. Her smile was wide and gleaming-sweet Nayru she could be murdering him and he’d still be captivated by that smile- somehow charmingly menacing as she began giggling yet again.

“Tell me you’re cute.” She stated.

“I dohon’t wannaha—” He whinged, before switching his demeanor in a comical attempt to distract her, “You’re cuter.”

Zelda broke into laughter, “Admit you’re cute, Liiink!” she emphasised herself by digging into his underarms and wriggling her fingers evilly.

The boy jerked and screeched, shocks shooting down his torso caving him in as he was tickled, roaring laughter exploding from his chest excitedly.

“WAHAIT-wAIT—! IHI—” A snort ripped from the back of his nose loudly before he erupted back into laughter, practically shrieking.

“Oh my goddess that was adorable— how on earth did you make that noise?” She held her own laughter just to save him the humiliation.

Her efforts did not help Link though, who dropped his head to her shoulder drowning in embarrassment as she squealed at him to snort more — scribbling into his armpits to tickle them out of the boy and sending him mad.

He flushed crimson from ear to ear, flustered out of his mind and laughing like he’d never stop.

“You’re not going to say it?” She sang, scribbling between his ribs and underarms emphatically.

He shrieked so high it could’ve broken glass, stumbling and spluttering to push words out, kicking his legs like a kid.

“OkAYOKAY IHI’M CUHUTE I’M CUTE ZELDAHA!” He hiccuped as she smiled and huffed rather proudly, slowing her tickles gently with laughter flowing throughout the room.

The princess hummed once again as she gazed at the mess of a knight in front of her, a smug look spread on her face.

He groaned and lifted a hand to his face, redness not fading any time soon as it sank in just what she’d gotten him to say, and goddess how she’d gotten him to say it.

The blonde chuckled and pulled his hand away.

She tidied his fringe and curved her fingers round to the back of his ear, fluttering behind and drifting down his neck with endearment.

Leaning in to kiss him one last time, she softly teased at his neck as he giggled and held her once more.

🏹 Link (BOTW) Headcanons!⚔️

I have been playing a lot of Legend of Zelda recently and Link is literally goated,, silent hero who’s also super silly (i need to tickle him now) so take these headcanons while i repeatedly get jumped by 6+ lizalfos

🔹 Lee:

would never admit it, (he probably doesnt even know tickle terms anyway) but he’s a lee-leaning switch.

He works hard to train his body so he’s made up of mostly muscle—but training against physical pain doesn’t mean he’s a rock immune to all sensations!

He’s not ticklish everywhere, but he has quite a few spots that get him going. His worst spots are his back, his biceps and his tummy.

He’s also incredibly sensitive on his calves because of all the running and jumping he does! (possibly self indulgent because i have deathly sensitive calves from walking on my toes all the time, lel)

Veeeeery feather ticklish, it’s insane. I’d like to think Revali teased him the most about this, being a Rito and all. (Zelda would never hear the end of it)

He’s also weak to rough touches, too, especially surprise tickles instead of anticipation. He’s supposed to be a warrior—a champion—and have heightened senses, so not noticing someone plotting your downfall is kind of embarrassing for him.

I’d like to think that the village kids in various regions like to play with him and rope him into their games and somehow it ends up in him getting wrecked by a group of kiddos more often than not.

His laugh is very cute and boyish. If you tickle him lightly his ears and face get red and he might giggle and chuckle a bit, sounding very light, but targeting his worst spots make him break out into belly laughs and cover his face like there’s no tomorrow.

He can’t help but enjoy it a little. With everything he’s gone through and always living on the move, settling down and enjoying something childish makes him smile and let his guard down for once.

Mipha tickled him a lot too when she was still around. Once she found out, she was always disguising her touches as a simple check-up done out of the goodness of her heart.

Link always fell for it. (or maybe he didn’t and he really just liked being so close to her; we’ll never know)

He’s downright adorable as a lee, but don’t tire him out too much—there’s only so much dignity a man can lose.

🔹 Ler:

Although he prefers always ends up in a lee position, Link can definitely fight back if he tries.

He’s pretty strong but holds back most of the time out of fear he might hurt someone close to him. He can pin someone with one hand and wreck them with the other if he tries, though.

Sidon gives huge ler vibes, but Link has given him a taste of his own medicine a few times. Sometimes he needs to prove he’s still a champion and can take someone down a notch if they need it.

Probably chuckles very lightly along with his lee and does that sinister face when he hits a good spot.

Really only tickles Zelda and probably Mona (and maybe Sidon if he started it… i feel like he wouldn’t go after Revali because he knows dude would pay him back ten fold.)
