Fazbear's Technician II | FNAF X Reader
Alright, I'm gonna be honest: I technically lied when I wrote that the fic was so long I had to split it up into two parts. In truth, when I wrote that, I hadn't even written the second part yet. But I have written the second part now, and I've discovered that it's so long that I had to split this fic up into three parts...
No, the third part hasn't been written yet, either. But it's currently midnight for me, and I'm tired, so I'm just gonna write that tomorrow.

Layout for FFFUP's Basement:
Climbing down the stairs to the basement, you gave a quick 'hello' to a passing Withered Freddy, who was slowly but surely making his way up the stairs. He gave a grunt back, clearly focused on the task at hand.
Exiting the lower storage room, you made a hard left and headed straight for the Rockstar Storage room. You passed by Funtime Foxy on your way there, but you didn't do anything more than give him a small wave. Because if you did, you'd spend over half the night trapped in a conversation with him. A few more seconds later, you made another right turn, and entered the Rockstar Storage.
The room wasn't that different from the other storage rooms. The wall connected to the doorway had a large desk against it, with drawers filled with fuses, spare eyes, music boxes, Fazbear Entertainment Restaurant-Grade Chemispray™, and various other things. On top of the desk was a pair of small machines to clean eyes, various tools, and a manual for tuning guitars. Meanwhile, the rightmost wall was lined with various shelves, which held various parts to Rockstar suits. The back wall had five charging stations, each one with a different design, as each one was meant for a different animatronic - although that didn't really matter. All of the animatronics could charge from the same station if they wanted to. This was just a way for them to have something personal in the establishment.
Finally, there was a lost and found bin, along with a trash bin, to the left of the door. There was also a table in the middle of the room, which the Animatronics would either sit on or lay down on whenever they needed repairs. Just like Lefty did.
"Hey, Lefty." You greeted, placing your clipboard down and making your way to the eye drawer. Pulling it open, you began to search for a light orange eyeball.
"Hello (Y/N)," Lefty greeted back, staying perfectly still. Although this behavior wasn't new for him, it was hard for you to remember that he wasn't a robot, and simply residing inside of one. You often wondered who's ghost was possessing him, and you wondered if they were that robotic when they were still alive, or if they had fallen into some sort of depression after their death. You wouldn't be surprised if they did, even if depression was an ironically hard thing to fall into here. "How was your day?"
"It was good," You hummed, finally finding the light orange eye as you spoke. Hastily, you grabbed it, popped it into one of the eye-cleaning machines, and walked up to Lefty. "Woke up at noon, talked with my Mom, went to school. The usual. My semester's almost over, though, so that's cool."
"That sounds nice."
"It is... You know, I should get you guys some books. That way, you guys'll have more things to do than play games, sing songs, and sit around."
"That also sounds nice."
"It does, doesn't it?" You asked rhetorically, your smile widening. "Now, please stay still, I have to remove your left eye."
Lefty silently complied, allowing you to reach your hand into his socket, and firmly grip the black orb. Carefully, you pulled it out, and brought it over to the second eye-cleaning machine. The first one was already done with its task, but you paid it no mind. You would get the eyes when you were done checking the inside of Lefty's head.
Making your way back to Lefty, you continued to talk to him. Most of the animatronics got antsy when you had to remove their eyes, as their vision became substantially worse because of it, so you talked to them in an effort to calm them down. You had no idea if it worked for Lefty or not, but you didn't really care. If he had a problem with it, he would tell you.
You encouraged all of the animatronics to tell you their problems, telling them that you wouldn't be able to properly fix them if they didn't open up. And you made sure they knew that, while you alone couldn't fix their personal issues, you were willing to do everything you could to help them.
Once you were back in front of Lefty, you searched for the two black buttons hidden on the underside of his jaw. It wasn't hard, and once
you found them, you warned Lefty. Because if you didn't, you would accidentally trigger an attack, and the last thing you needed was to be knocked to the ground and pinned down by a blind, six-foot-tall robot bear.
When his faceplate was up, you started inspecting his right eye socket. Quickly, you found that the left plug was loose. Which was weird, because they were built to last.
"Has anyone been messing with your eyes, lately?" You asked, mentally scolding yourself for not asking that earlier.
"No. But Goldie punched me in the eye last night." Lefty admitted, and your eyes widened.
"What?! When??" You questioned.
"Ten minutes from six AM. And, in Goldie's defense, Trap provoked him. When Goldie went to throw the punch, Trap pulled me in front of him." Lefty explained.
Sighing heavily, you tilted your head downwards and pinched the bridge of your nose. Golden Freddy and Springtrap fighting wasn't anything new, but it hadn't gotten old yet. Thankfully, their fights almost never got physical. And when it did, it was almost always because of Springtrap. The jerk just loved to start crap.
"Alright, I'll deal with him. Just wait here for a sec, okay? I need to get you a new eye plug." You instructed, waiting for his reply before going to leave.
"Okay." Lefty said.
And with that, you walked out of the room, and started making your way to the stair-side storage. As you walked, Classic Freddy appeared from the stair/storage room. He appeared to be looking for someone, and that someone appeared to be you, as a look or recognition came onto his face once he spotted you.
"Hey, (Y/N)!" Freddy called, speed-walking over to you and meeting you halfway.
"Hello, Mister Fazbear. How has your night been?" You asked, pausing for only a second so he could turn and walk with you.
"Eh, it's too early to tell. But that's not why I'm here." Freddy replied.
"Is it because I'm making an announcement tonight?" You asked, despite already knowing the answer. Freddy was always curious about what was going on in 'his' restaurant. Whether it was expired cheese getting put on a pizza and making a bunch of kids sick, or Bonnie getting a hand stuck in the claw machine for the tenth time that week, he would find out about it.
"Yup. I heard that you wanted everyone there, and, I have to admit: I'm pretty worried." Freddy confessed, following you into the storage/stair room. However, he stopped by the doorway, allowing you some space to search for eye plugs. The things were in one of the many box-lined shelves here - you just had to find out which.
"Oh, it's nothing to worry about, Freddy. Although, you should know that the restaurant will be temporarily for the next month. It's nothing major, you're just going to be getting some new things. And those new things are going to take some time to implement." You explained, making sure to keep your words intentionally vague. Opening one of the boxes, you took a peek inside, only to find that was a spare Endo-Bonnie ear.
"And what exactly are these new things? Arcade games?" Freddy questioned.
"Some are, yeah. The other things, though, I can't tell you about. I don't want the Nightmares to spread any bad rumors." You said. Opening another box, you found a spare Foxy hook. Which shouldn't have been there, but you didn't know which Foxy it belonged to, so you were just gonna leave it.
"They're gonna do that no matter what."
"Yeah, but I don't wanna give them material to work with," Opening a third box, you found that it was full of eye plugs. "Aha!" You exclaimed cheerfully, grabbing one and walking up to Freddy. "The announcement will be before Funtime Foxy's show, so make sure to be there. Also, Springtrap tricked Goldie into punching Lefty, so can you get someone to pin Trap so Goldie can have his rightful revenge? Thanks." Walking out of the stair/storage room, you once again made your way down the hall. And, despite the fact that multiple animatronics were walking around, you could tell that Freddy was following you.
"Actually, do you mind telling me how that
Specifically?" Freddy asked.
"Oh, I don't know that. But you can ask Lefty when I'm done replacing his eye plug," You replied, making a hard left back into the Rockstar's Storage room. "I'm back!" You announced, quickly grabbing a screwdriver from the desk as you walked back up to the black bear.
"Okay." Lefty replied blankly.
Placing the plug down next to Lefty, you leaned to Lefty's right, and told the Rockstar that you were going to unscrew his left eye plug. And as you did so, Freddy made some conversation with you. Which was weird, as he should've left to search out Max by now. Perhaps they already met? But that wouldn't make sense, as Freddy would've spent an hour questioning him.
"So, what are you doing after this?" Freddy asked, waiting patiently by the door.
"Depends. I've gotta do things on two opposite ends of the building, and then search the building for nine different animatronics and check up on them. By the way, one of those animatronics is you, so heads up." You warned, removing Lefty's loose plug and tossing it into the trash. You then grabbed the new one and started screwing it in.
"Does anything involve going into the kitchen?" Freddy asked, a slightly hopeful tone to his voice. You furrowed your eyebrows at the question, and openly shot the brown bear a suspicious look.
"No, why? Did something happen?" You turned your head towards the camera, checking to see if Max was peering in on your conversation. When you didn't see any red light, you turned back to Freddy. "Is there a dead body in there?"
"No, but the Chica's are excited tonight. I think it's because Christmas is gonna be here soon. You should avoid them! I don't want you getting jump scared." Freddy said, and you gave him a flattered smile.
"Awe, thanks, Fazbear. I'll make sure to avoid them... Well, as best as I can, seeing as I need to check up on the Classic, Toy, and Funtime Chicas before the end of the night," Turning the screw a few more times, you were done with Lefty's eye plug. "Alright, I'm almost done, Lefty. I just gotta put your eyes back in and close up your faceplate, and you'll be good to go." After patting Lefty on the shoulder, you went to grab his eyes. The trip took only seconds, and putting them in and closing Lefty up was even shorter. Which was good. Hopefully, it wouldn't take long to do everything else. You wanted to relax tonight, what with it being your anniversary and all.
