Wait wait wait wait. "Legbeard" is a word? Applied specifically to women with unshaved legs, you know, implying that having unshaved legs is something problematic, and uniquely a problem only if it afflicts a female? Da fuq? How brainlessly herd-animal do you have to be to find that term appealing to use?

So I've been thinking about the most ridiculous reactions/responses I've gotten on this tumblr, because people *coughcoughfeminists* tend to make some hilariously wrong assumptions about me as a person

That time I was called "libertarian dudebro", presumably based on something on my blog despite the fact that I can't imagine how there would be anything on my blog that would indicate I was either of those things (because I am definitively neither of those things), is an obvious standout. 

But upon reflection, the best has got to be the time I responded to a post about "feeling unsafe at my own home at night!!1" saying that that was incredibly paranoid behavior because statistically you aren't that unsafe. And somebody reblogged it, writing something along the lines of "this dude doesn't think you have the right to feel unsafe! They are obviously dangerous to womyn; this is why we feel so unsafe!" 

Meanwhile, I am a  4'11 girl who is still routinely given children's menus when she goes out the eat and can do like maybe three push-ups max.

Terrifying.
