silly tech confession

i was always Good With Computers as a kid but once in middle school our Computer Guy neighbor came over to diagnose why it slowed to a crawl one day, and blamed the fancy wallpaper i downloaded.

now here's the thing. i didn't get the wallpaper from a shady site, i made sure to virus scan it and everything. so it wasn't bloatware slowing it down.

it was the fact that i had set the wallpaper to a full HD PNG.

on our 2003 windows xp desktop.

the thing barely had any resources left after keeping that image loaded at all times.

i love old-ish computers. a single image file brings it to its knees thats lovely. god forbid something be 6mb

Would you mind giving J-rap recs (or is there a post where you've already done so)? I'd like to get further into the genre but I suck at digging for that sorta music - all I know thus far is 踊Foot Works and limiting to one band isn't doing it for me lol

田我流 is basically the GOAT in my eyes.

He’s a member of Stillichimiya, which is the rap group i uploaded the album of, consists of him, Big Ben, Mr. 麿, MMM, and Young-G, all of whom have their own careers.

There’s also 鎮座DOPENESS who does some really good collaborations 

Aside from that the only thing I can really give you is to steer clear of JP the Wavy, who is REALLY derivative of the most basic American rappers and generally pretty low quality in terms of actual, like, substance.
