I photographed this scene recently on a nice day spent along Lac Léman in Switzerland. The day was especially pleasant because it was one of the first days that we've experienced some truly pleasant weather. In Switzerland, sunshine is something that we deeply appreciate as the weather can be highly unpredictable. Coming from California, I admit that I've often taken those abundant sunny days for granted. I've never thought so much about the changing seasons until I moved to Europe.
