It was a very exciting weekend for me. 🤗 I got 9 beautiful Leica/Leitz R lens for a complete CLA, aperture modification for movie (de-clicking) and a mount replacement operation. All lenses have now a 90° rotated Canon EF mount thanks to the Leitax bayonets. Finally got around to adding 80mm fronts and slip-on caps to my Zeiss Contax AE standard speed prime set! Big shoutout to @simmodlens for these quality and affordable parts! Now I just need to add some gears, them cool cap stickers you’ll see on @simmodlens’s page, maybe #leitax mounts and my set is done. For anyone wondering, I have 25mm F2.8, 35mm F2.8 50mm F1.7, 85mm F2.8 & 135mm F2.8 here. I also have the 18mm F4, but it doesn’t have a front filter thread, so no 80mm front for that one. :( Do you mod your lenses for video use? 🙌

Same glass used in parts of Bond's Casino Royale #Nikon #80200, aperture de-clicked, #helimaxxp grease added to aperture ring, focus gear ring added, #cordvision push-on cap ring, AND hard mounted Canon EF mount from #Leitax installed. Whew! Done! (at Control Alt Media)

This won't matter to many people but I just found out that my Leica 80mm f/1.4 Summilux actually opens up to f/1.2/1.1 after the Leitax conversion!
