i’ve queued this post, but i’m deleting / have already deleted some requests (that includes both normal, blurb and christmas requests) and will be posting the christmas ones before christmas, none of them after. not all of the blurb requests have been deleted but they won’t be posted today and will more likely be posted slowly over the next couple months along with other requests and fics (the same goes for quote prompts).
After christmas, i’ll write the requests i have left as well as fics/series of my own that weren’t requested. I can’t remember the last time i wrote something that was completely my idea and because i wanted to write it. I think this will definitely help with the negativity i’ve been feeling with this blog.
I’ll be posting more lord of the rings content, and odd characters from other fandoms i opened recently. Harry Potter will still be a main fandom, mostly likely along with LOTR. I didn’t use to write it much because a lot of the followers i have don’t read it but i want to write it more so ive decided that i will.
i’m not writing Marvel anymore, it just doesn’t interest me or spark any writing inspiration like my other fandoms do. I enjoy the films and series but not so much writing them. There may be the occasional fic for a marvel character, but they won’t be requests.
Please remember that tumblr doesn’t run on likes, even for bigger blogs. Follower count ≠ lots of interaction. Reblogs are important and they mean the world to writers who are creating content for your everyday. Just because they aren’t posting everyday doesn’t mean that they weren’t working on them all the time as well as balancing everything else in their lives.
