I love the fact that she quickly understood that she got a second chance at saving her love and she is ready to use all the necessary time to get prepared to save her. She has 5 years to get ready and to save her. I really appreciate a courageous character who is ready to make the necessary efforts to accomplish her goal: saving the one she loves. I hope we'll see the preparation she made before starting to work with Le.
There are two conversations happening here: the one induced by the sexual tension between them and the another one where Aran is trying to keep everything work-related as if nothing else was happening.
It was sad to see how desperate Ran was when she tried to call Le even if she was at her funeral and knew that she wouldn't answer. She still wanted to believe in Le's promise. 😭
Lene is making sure her future girlfriend knows she is rich and that means Ran will never have to worry about money.
The mystery of this episode is obviously Le's reaction after Ran kissed her. She acted like she was disgusted by that kiss and decided to ghost/avoid Ran (well, I guess it was mutual because Aran was really sad after being rejected so badly). Especially as it seems like Le has always been a bit flirty with Ran. Some of her actions were beyond simple friendship.
The way she promised Ran she would always come to her if she called her and sealed that promise with a kiss.
She was always getting very close to her and asking her ambiguous questions.
Even after 5 years of silence and no contact, Le still wanted to send flowers to Ran and her coworker insisted on saying that it was something "she wanted before dying". It means it was very important to her.
It seems to me that Le didn't really want to reject Ran. Perhaps something happened after 2020 that forced Le to act this way and she has always regretted it. The question now is to know what happened.
I think everyone had the same thought. Obviously Ran thought Le would kiss her. I was thinking the same thing. 😅
