For some reason, I’ve had a pretty clear visual on Leo pretty much from the beginning. As a short, stocky, bald, mustachioed lil’ man. So voila
ok, hear me out
in one of the episodes dani says something about how people have seen men in black and started getting weird ideas about aliens, but what if taz amnesty and men in black existed in the same universe?
when mama first discovered the gate back in 1988 she killed off a couple of abominations and made contact with sylvain before mib found her. kay was impressed enough that he recommended recruiting mama instead of neuralyzing her and zed agreed. a year later she recruited thacker. their task was to manage the abominations and find out what’s the deal with the gate while the rest of mib was busy with rapid increase of aliens moving in to new york.
leo never officially joined mib. when they found him fighting the abominations in new york back in the 70s, they tried to wipe his memories out but it turns out that one of the perks of being chosen is that neuralyzers don’t work on you. and so leo kept doing his thing as an mib consultant. he met mama and thacker after he moved to kepler and has been helping out the pine guard from time to time.
after dealing with reconciliation the pine guard and joseph became mib consultants. barclay (who like any other alien had to register with mib) and minerva (who, while invisible to everyone else, accompanied leo on his tour) have already seen the mib headquarters so they’re just content watching their boyfriends’ reactions.
and, because it’s an au and i can do whatever i want, ned’s life gets saved by mib’s med team.
I’d literally kill someone for an amnesty spin off of just the months where everyone is living in ducks apartment
There are still some Sylvans living in New York that were banished during Leo’s time before the portal moved. They have their own Amnesty Lodge type situation, and neither group has any idea about the existence of the other.

IM AT THE END OF EPISODE 19 OF AMNESTY. AND MINERVA SAID "GO TO HIM" TO SOMEONE ELSE. AND THEN SOMEONE KNOCKED ON THE DOOR TO DUCKS APARTMENT.
I THEN JOKED WITH MY SISTER THAT ITS PROBABLY JUST LEO TARKESIAN GIVING HIM SOME GROCERIES. YOU KNOW, SARCASTICALLY.
AND IT WAS HIM, WITH A SWORD BEING SENT BY MINERVA, I WAS JOKING AGAFADFAGFDAXCZSAADDFGH
and they were roommates
