What do you suppose is the status of Crow and Professor Paracelsus? It's unlikely that Crow will be able to pursue his objectives to create his own Justice without the backing of the P.W.A.B and the Conclave, and I doubt that he would willfully work with the new administration since it doesn't coincide with his goals. Meanwhile, Paracelsus was practically kidnapped by the government. Do you think he'll be released and return to Frasco?

Frasco (or Flask if you prefer) was Paracelsus' original Mansion to begin with... so he had already made a name for himself long before the Government took an interest in him.

According to Rev2 information, there was a SECOND Frasco Laboratory built to replace the original, though it seems as though this was built under the Conclave's supervision with regards to the Cyprus Project and O.P.U.S. Gears.

Leon Mining, Crow Kuruwaba, Paracelsus... and a man named Director Repro Crowley... these four were the ones responsible for the O.P.U.S. Gears, Cyprus Blacktech, and the Robo-Ky Series, not to mention past history with experimental Forbidden Magic linked with the Assassins Organization.

Even if the Illyrian Government absorbed most members of the former Assassins in to their numbers, it's not clear how they would treat the Scientists and Researchers who had conducted inhumane experiments over the years. Even Bedman was a partial result of their meddling so it seems.

While Crow did try to mass produce Justice, and even tried to recapture Dizzy to clone her, I doubt High King Ky would permit any further involvement with a man like Crow (even if, perhaps, Happy Chaos might've been involved). Leon Mining himself is also responsible for trying to clone Zato and Millia's powers as well, against their will.

There's also evidence that suggests Testament's origins lie with these researchers as well... though we don't know the full story on that quite yet.

I do not know if Paracelsus himself is entirely innocent of these affairs, but if he created A.B.A. and experimented on Flament Nagel, then he is capable of a whole lot more, even if he was taken by the Government against his will.

If there is anyone who can uncover the truth of their current situation... perhaps it is A.B.A. herself! Her creator was very important to her, long before she met Flament Nagel her current partner. I would think that finding his whereabouts would be very important to A.B.A!

Where do you assume that Leon Mining's interests lie nowadays? He was a major antagonist during the Night of Knives storyline, but Slayer claims that he's allegedly become an ally by the Xrd duology.

Slayer was speaking in terms of what realistic options were actually available to them in that given moment... Leon Mining probably wouldn’t be worth trusting even if he wasn’t involved with the Conclave. Slayer was just listing the most obvious “bad choices” to make.

Even if Mining was a contact for the Assassins, in most cases he was never on their side or of any support to them and had his own agendas, especially with regards to Forbidden Beast technology, which he wanted to mass produce.

His insider knowledge is probably the only reason he was given a position within the P.W.A.B. in the first place, though I doubt he’ll have his “job” for much longer, given what inhumane things he’s done in the past.

His working within the Conclave’s ranks only made him even less trustworthy.

So, is it safe to assume that Crow is possibly the only person aside from Asuka who fully comprehends the process of how Gears can be created? Also, is he the only other person besides Justice who can answer the mystery behind Dizzy's true origins?

There are other scientists who tried to understand how Gear Cell Theory works: Sheevus (Lightning the Argent), Raymond (GG Judgement), and Leon Mining (Night of Knives) came close to comprehending it… but haven’t gotten as close as Crow has.

Justice actually may or may not have been aware of Dizzy’s existence (Jack-O’ seems to be different from Justice, so we lack details on that).

We’ll just have to wait and see on Dizzy’s mystery.

Would it be a case of oversaturating the roster to include new Assassins(possibly with Kinjuu) or Zepp soldiers?

The Assassins are “officially” disbanded, though EX-assassins may still be around. 2Cave might show his face again later on.

Zepp is another possibility (though technically Leon Mining of the Bureau is EX-Zepp, a former Zepp mercenary according to Slayer).

Rumor also has it that Crow Kuruwaba is expatriate Japanese, so there’s him too.

Do you think the assassins might play a larger role in the next game's plot? It's clear that there's going to be plenty of public uproar over inducting them into the Illyrian militia, and I doubt Leon Mining would be happy to know about their recent activities.

Leon and the PWAB were effectively absorbed it to the military system along with them. It’s better than being a penniless wanted criminal.

So long as Gears are the hot topic, politics will be brewing and superpowers will be pushing for the next big superweapon.

In a way the assassins will serve as “moderators” as contentions rise between countries.

The Crusades may be over, but Mankind still hasn’t understood what originally gave birth to Gears as weapons, nor discovered the innocent blood on their hands.

Even if Asuka tells the powers that be the truth, hysteria and national pride won’t hear his story so easily.

Even if Gears are accepted as people, there are those who place no value on life, and prefer chaos and conflict to peace.

All this, and Mankind still doesn’t understand the true nature of the Backyard.

If Leon Mining was informing Venom and the Assassin's Guild about the Conclave in Xrd, does that mean that the guy that Bedman killed was him? (Sign Bedman arcade) Since he mentioned that he knew that he was working with the vampire, doesn't show his eyes, knowing that zepp characters have white eyes and we don't know what is his full appearance.

That's actually a VERY GOOD question.

There's a scene in Xrd Sign when Bedman is interrupted from fighting Zato=ONE (after having defeated Chipp/Faust) when Ariels contacts him saying "something came up" and that he had to "return" to "take care of something", but it's not actually made clear "what" exactly he was asked to do after that brief retreat.

I can tell you, at least based on the physical appearance of the person he killed in his own Story Mode, that the "person working for the Vampire" is NOT Leon Mining, for two main reasons:

It's made semi-clear that Slayer was not fully aware of the Conclave's movements at the time, nor did he have any prior intel on Bedman… nor was he in any way associated with the Postwar Administration Bureau (even suggesting the idea he had a mole among their agents). The "agent" that was working for Slayer was trusted enough to be tasked with gathering such info, which is the opposite case with Leon Mining himself (meaning Leon could NOT be fully trusted, not by Venom or Slayer, as he was still working with the Conclave, even if he did provide intel on Zato's Resurrection. That intel might have been a trap to lure in Venom who was a key figure of the Assassins.).

The second piece of information (about Leon Mining himself) comes from Night of Knives, which relates to his personality, voice, and appearance:

Leon Mining refers to himself as "A Man who Grieves for his Nation."

This is actually a subtle reference to ONE and ONLY ONE character in Japanese Fiction: Daisuke Gori.

He goes primarily by the character Edajima Heihachi in various anime, but he is most famous for his role as Heihachi Mishima in the Tekken series.

The catchphrase "A Man who Grieves for his Nation" is actually spoken verbatim by Heihachi a few times throughout anime and pop culture based on the various roles Daisuke Gori has taken over the years.

Just like I-No's voice Actress Kikuko Inoe loves to say she's "Forever Seventeen", this was Gori's catchphrase.

In other words, it's HEAVILY IMPLIED that Leon Mining himself is an "incarnation" of Heihachi that somehow existed in Guilty Gear's World and Timeline… interesting trivia to think about!

Anyway… as to whether or not "Heihachi"… er… I mean "Leon" survived any encounter with Bedman, it's made unclear… but if Heihachi can survive an encounter with Gouki "Akuma" from Street Fighter in Tekken 7… odds are he's still alive and kicking somewhere (or at least his Legend is, as a Voice Actor)~
