He winked.

“Please tell me you’re getting the implications this time,” Leon added.

“I am,” said Alec.

“Fantastic!” Leon told him. “We’d have to keep it quiet, but I think we could have fun. You have so much going for you, Alec. You can do better than some Downworlder with a shady past. Hey, do you have any time tonight?”

Leon was handsome, Alec guessed. If Leon had come to New York when Alec was angry and miserable and thought nothing was ever going to happen for him, Alec might have taken him up on his offer.

“No,” he said. He turned away, then looked over his shoulder. “I want to be clear,” he added. “No, I have plans for tonight that don’t include you. No, I’m not interested in fun on the quiet. And no. I can’t do better than Magnus. There isn’t better than Magnus.”

demonic cult aside, Leon Verlac was pretty miserable, what with him chasing Helen all over Paris, and the latter didn’t even bat an eyelash and lowkey found him annoying; and then to Venice where he met, tried and failed to hit on Alec; and then encountered Magnus in Rome after the Crimson Hand’s business only to be turned down and told to “keep dreaming”; and finally arrested the cult leader only to find Magnus and Alec reunited and Helen and Aline kissing and planning their travel year; and later on his cousin Sebastian Verlac was murdered by evil Sebastian Morgenstern like—

Jace, internally: Clary help me! Clary help me! It's happening again! Alec!

Jace, outwardly: *staring at Leon* why does everyone think that because I married a redhead, it means I'm attracted to all redheads?

Leon: so is this happening. . .

Alec: not on my watch! *slams glass down* Not on my watch! Clary come help me fight for your man!

Clary: Leon! What'd I tell you bout trying to steal my man!

Leon: *runs, cause Clary*

The game starts with Alec, Magnus, Shinyun, Helen, Aline, Leon, Mori Shu, Raphael, Lily and Elliot

Alec thinks Shinyun is sus. Raphael and Helen think Alec is sus. Magnus is that one person who doesn't sus anyone and goes on doing his tasks. (Alec is a nice guy!! And Shinyun is following me around doing tasks with me she can't possibly be the impostor!!)

Elliot is the one who calls an emergency meeting within the first five minutes for no reason. He gets ejected.

Mori sees Shinyun vent and tries to get to the emergency button but Shinyun catches up to him and kills him and blames Lily. Alec still thinks Shinyun is sus. Raphael susses Alec. Magnus skips. Lily is too busy protesting to vote. Helen, Aline, Leon and Shinyun vote for her. Alec was on her side, though ('She was with me!' 'The whole time?')

Lily gets ejected.

Lily was not the impostor.

Leon is later ejected simply because he is annoying.

Magnus gets killed by Shinyun and then proceeds to yell in the chatbox even though no one can hear him. ("RAPHAEL YOU ABSOLUTE BUFFOON IT'S NOT ALEC IT'S SHINYUN")

Alec realises that Shinyun is the impostor and he, Helen, Aline and Raphael vote her out. ("Told you she was sus!" "You were pretty sus too, you know.")
