He's no longer a boy, I'm afraid ... Robster has over the past few years grown into a young man that marches to the beat of his own drum, and I've realised this past weekend at @leopardtrailrun that it is but a matter of time before he kicks my butt on the trails 😏😬 After some solid surf sessions in #Jbay, he joined on @theleopardtrail to help shoot the #leopardrun stage #trailrun. Over the next couple of days, he kloofed and ran around 30kays in these rugged #baviaanskloof ranges, negotiating everything from canyons, waterfall swims and sandy riverbeds, to scree-slope ascents in temps touching on 40 Degrees ☀ 🔥 He really wanted one of the @sealandgear race backpacks, so @maraiskaryn 'donated' hers to him when we got home. Half an hour later he brought it back and said he would rather earn it by running the full race next year. We're about to go into training mode, @zaneschmahl - seems #DieOom will be drinking @darlingbrew while @robert.marais captures the action 📸!
