Today I was determined to get to the top of the part of the mountain I was running at. I have run up places but I have never actually arrived anywhere, if you know what I mean. Today I pushed a bit more, had enough water with me, so I got to that beautiful spot. Though it was really humid when I started, at 1300m the air was finally cold and fresh. I’m grateful for where my running, albeit slow, can take me. This afternoon I ran up one of the sides of mount Taygetos again. I swear I have fallen in love with this place. I was so close to the top of that part of the mountain but I had to turn back as the storm expected was coming my way. I quickly turned back and in a few minutes the clouds had covered where I had been. I ran down as fast as I could but had to stop to take some pictures, I just had to. At times I was running through the clouds, I have never actually breathed in a cloud.
