31 Tickle Drabbles in October 🧡
Hi all! This will be the post where I'll eventually collect my Tickletober fics in a masterlist, starting t
Soooo this is a request from my sister as she watched Umbrella Academy after her exams. I'm surprised she watched such a violent show, lol. Sooo sorryyy if none of you guys are interested in Umbrella Academy, but I like it too (only seasons 1 and 2 at least)
She asked if I could do a lee!five cuz... ya know she likes the 58 year old kid. And guess what? So do I...
Personal opinion... I actually watched it because of Klaus, and now I like five too hehe so ig the little guy deserves a little tickle. (Personally, I like seasons 1 and 2... five and klaus were the best in them)
Enjoyyyy, this is kinda based on season 1
"Just what did you expect? A hug?"
Klaus lowered his arms with a pout, Luther frowns a little, "We just missed you, buddy, but the moment you return, you're always going on and on about the apocalypse..."
Five's eye twitched, "I'm not a masochistic douche bag to just torture myself about doomsday! I'm trying to save you!"
The final words came in a slight quiver... a surprising tone from the usually snarky old timer. He then sneered, "Now leave me be..."
"You need to rest five..." Diego steps in front of him but Five teleports past him, with a scoff, looking back, "I don't need you to nag, I'm older and wiser... smarter and stronger... so dont tell me what to do"
Klaus hums, "Uhh technically-"
"None of that! You get logical, and the doomsday will be cursed!"
"Ah! Rude, " Klaus scoffed flamboyantly. Then the moment Five attempts to leave Luther easily grabbed him by the armpits, lifting him up.
"Nope, you're not going anywhere, mister," Luther says nonchalantly.
Five startled now kicked his legs, growling, "Unhand me, you big stupid -gahaha!"
He barked a laugh when Diego smirked poking him middle. Klaus placed a hand to his mouth, mockingly, "Ticklish old man?"
Five grunts, "Damn you ahahahahasshohohole! ahaha shihihit!"
Luther mildly chided still holding Five in place, "Now now, what you need a good rest... and no cussing"
"AHAHALL OHOHOF YOU AHAHAHARE CRAHAHAZY!" Five shrieked, giggling and squirming, a rare sound, and it's pretty hard to catch Five when he's teleporting. Once you catch him, he's done for -and he can't teleport away.
Klaus playfully poked his knees, "Fiverson... its bad to be sleep deprived... you will be forever short stack"
Luther let's Five go, now squeezing his shoulders as Five gasps and pants, "We just worry for you brother"
Diego nods agreeing and Klaus hummed, slightly similarly. Five takes a moment to look at them and then Glares, "Fine! As you fucking wish!"
He tried teleporting but fails as he sigh. Ugh...
"Then I'll take that damn couch!" Five collapsed there, instantly knocked off to sleep. Diego, Luther and Klaus watched their youngest/oldest brother peaceful and relaxed for the first time.
"If he wasn't such an asshole he's actually super cute..." Klaus grins.
Diego snorted, "Buddy is a cute bastard"
Luther sighs, "An endearing prick..."
They all come to an accord, leaving Five dozed off.
hi everyone! so we haven't done this for a while so here are the ideas that I could come up with!
the one with the most votes will be written at the end of the poll.
These are from three different fandoms.
Marvel.
Shadow and Bone
The Vampire diaries.
Moonknight wants to know info about you, a ticklish interrogation follows.
Aleksander and Ivan have seen that you've been sleeping less and plan a remedy.
Klaus and Elijah have been after you for years, your sentence? tickles.
Summary: Five is finally being hit by everything, and what better way to help him out than to bring back something simple and familiar?
Five laid there on his bed (futon), just staring up at the ceiling. Processing. He had time traveled, gotten stuck in the post apocalyptic future for 43 years, leaving his family behind, killed people, came back as a child, barely survived three apocalyptic ends, so much more, and... it was finally catching up to him. He exhaled, long and slow.
Due to the deal Allison made with Reginald, they all were alive. Powerless, but alive. And Five was still in his child body, meaning no one believed him that he was 58, and he couldn't buy his own house yet, so he just bounced around from sibling to sibling, whoever would let him stay a few nights.
A few of his siblings had offered to let him just fully move in, and he had considered it, he really had, but he decided against it. He was an old man at heart and mind, he didn't want to feel like he was being taken care of -even if deep down he knew he probably needed it to some degree- so currently, he was staying with Klaus, in an apartment.
"Hey, Fivers.." Speak of the devil. Five didnt even move his head, he just flicked his eyes over to Klaus, who stood in the doorway. "Hm?"
"Hate to barge in like this, but I couldn't help but notice you looked so... sad?" Klaus sat on the futon next to his older-younger brother. Five snorted. "After everything we've been through, 'sad' is an understatement." Five said, looking back up at the ceiling.
Klaus nodded. "Yeah, that's... that's fair. That's really fair." Silence hung in the air for a moment, while Klaus looked down at Five. The poor kid guy looked exhausted, like he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders. In a way, he had. Three times.
Klaus leaned back against the couch part of the futon, in thought. Suddenly, he got an idea. "Hey, Five, if you'll trust me-" "I know I shouldn't, especially after you've said that, but go on." "-I think I know what may help."
Intrigued, Five propped himself up on his elbows. "I hope you don't mean dr-" "No, no, I'm clean now. But back when I was fighting in the war, there was something Dave used to do that would help me relax." Almost immediately, Five laid back down. "Klaus, I'm flattered and a little creeped out, but not interested." Klaus was tempted to bring up the fact that Five had actually made a joke, but he decided to do it later. "No, it wasn't anything like that, it was just a way to calm me down on real bad nights. If you'll trust me, I'd like to try it with you. You need it, buddy, trust me."
Five thought for a moment. "Fine. I doubt you could make it any wORSE-" As soon as the words left his lips, Klaus had pulled him into his lap. Five started to get up but Klaus gently held his shoulders. "No no, it's okay, this is part of it, you're fine! I'm not gonna mess with ya.. Well- Not much. Give me your hand." Five hesitantly laid back down and gave Klaus his hand.
Klaus started to very gently trace light circles against his palm. When Five snorted and closed his fist, pulling away, Klaus chuckled. "Oh right, I forgot your hands were bad. Let's try somewhere a little less sensitive." Before Five could question what he was doing, Klaus had pushed his shirt up to just under his ribs, starting to lightly trace and tap around his tummy.
Five felt his face and ears get red as he hid his face. He tried to blink away- right. No powers anymore. He decided to just keep his face covered as he giggled into his hands. "Fuck- Klahaus! Whyhy?" The Former-Seance just grinned. "It's hard to think about the bad things while you're getting tickled, isn't it?"
He was right. Five found it quite difficult to think about that while giggling, laying across his brother's lap. In fact, it had the opposite effect. Five was remembering a time when they were kids, this was a thing Klaus had done back then, too. He was always one to give cheer-up tickles to him and his siblings after a rough day. He felt a mix of comfort and nostalgia spread throughout his chest, coming out in the form of much lighter, more bubbly giggles. He hadn't even noticed.
Klaus grinned down at him. "Aw, look at you! You're actually giggling and staying in place, you haven't rolled away once!"
Oh, right.. His reputation.. He was supposed to not like this. Five raised an arm to cover his mouth as he turned his head away, but Klaus just upped the tickles and skittered up his ribs and toward his underarm. Five slammed his arm down as his giggles turned frantic. "Dohohon't!" "Don't what?" "Tihickl- I'M NAHAT THAT DUHUMB!" "Ah, I almost gotcha though."
Klaus fluttered his fingers around Five's ears and under his chin, which resulted in an adorable little snort, then found his way back to his tummy, getting bubbly giggles, then to his hips, which made Five buck and let out a real belly laugh. Yet he still hadn't really protested or tried to get away.
When Klaus squeezed his knee, Five shot up and grabbed his hand. "KLAHAUS!!" He paused to catch his breath, giggles still flooding out of his chest. Klaus smiled warmly. "Just gentle tickles? Calm?" Five just nodded and repeated, "Calm."
Five laid back down, covered his face, and giggled softly into the room, the way he used to before everything happened, back when he was still a somewhat normal 13 year old spending the night in his brother's room after a hard day. And for the first time in a very long time, he felt safe.
This is the first small tword fic I’ve decided to post ~~~~~
ITS VIKTOR BRUH
Klaus sat back on the couch after the festivities of Luthor's bachelor party. He took a swig from his flask before shutting his eyes for a cat nap. Just before he could drift off to sleep, Viktor makes a beeline for the couch from behind and launches himself over.
"Ya know man you really should hydrate now, properly" he says handing him a bottled water from the hotel's vending machine. It was ice cold with condensation dripping down it. Viktor held it front of his brother willing for him to take it. Klaus squeaks in surprise though, making the smaller brother raise an eyebrow at him.
"Vee- that water's co-ho-ld, don't hold right above me like tha-hat!"
"What are you talking about dude?" Viktor asks- still holding the bottle above Klaus.
Klaus screeches again, drunkenly batting Viktor's arm away from him. "The water's drippy and it's too-hoo cold"
"Oh I see, so it tickles you huh?" Viktor asks with mischief on his mind, slowly bringing the bottle down to Klaus's torso.
Klaus screeches as loud as a hawk as the freezing bottle is placed on his belly. As always, his shirt is much too small for him so every tickle spot is super exposed. Viktor sits beside him, giggling along with his helpless brother.
"Dude is there anything that doesn't tickle you?" Victor says, swinging his leg over Klaus to sit on his lap.
"Hee-ehehehe ahahaha- Vee don't you dare-arre"
“Where did calling me Vee come from? Are you so drunk you forgot my new name?” Viktor busts out laughing at this realization. He rubs his hands on the freezing water bottle and promptly sticks his fingers into Klaus’s underarms. Klaus lets out another screech, followed by a stream of squeaky giggles. “IT’S VIKTOR BRUH”
“Oh-hohono Viktor, get off me you little dickhead!” Klaus yells, pushing his brother over.
“Hehe aww Klaus, even your insults are affirming” Viktor says dramatically with his hand on his chest, “Gosh I love you.”
Viktor pulls himself into Klaus’s lap again to hug his taller brother tight. Klaus gladly obliges. "I love you too little bro, you know I need some revenge though, right?"
"He-hey what?" Viktor replies before melting into giggles at his taller brother's hand.

Well hey guys! Here’s my most recent fic! This is a curveball for sure, but I recently started obsessing over The Umbrella Academy and decided to write a fic! This idea came to my head randomly, so I figured I should write about it.
I’m undecided if I will take requests for TUA in the near future, but if y’all like this one, I will consider it for sure 💕😊 Please enjoy!
✨Please note I am only in season 2, so please don’t try to spoil anything past that ✨
⚠️Minor spoilers for season 1/early season 2 ahead!⚠️
Warnings: Minor spoilers for season 1/2, mentions of drug and alcohol abuse, brief violence, lots of tickles. Ignore the timeline of the show because I know I’m wayyyy off 😂
Words: 3284 Lee Diego X Ler Klaus (Ben and Five make appearances)
Sobriety Brothers
Ever since he was ripped away from Dave, Klaus struggled with alcohol and drug abuse.
Okay. That was kinda a lie.
Klaus had almost always struggled with his addictions, but it definitely got worse since his lover was killed. But who could blame him?
Klaus’s head was always filled with the moans and groans of the dead, and the numbing of drugs and alcohol seemed to be one of the few things that gave him some peace and quiet.
Klaus knew Ben disagreed with him, and so did most of his family. Ben told Klaus he needed to learn how to block the voices on his own without poisoning his body. Although Ben was probably his closest friend, Klaus secretly enjoyed being able to block him out while passed out drunk in the bathtub.
It wasn’t until Klaus had been robbed for the 3rd time that week that he decided he needed help.
Klaus had woken up in nothing but his underwear with a black eye and nearly broken nose in the back of some sketchy alleyway. Klaus had no clue how he ended up here, but thankfully Ben was able to fill in the gaps.
Klaus typically was not embarrassed to be without clothing (hence the crop tops and holey pants) but for some reason, he was absolutely terrified of facing his family this time.
Sneaking in through the back door, Klaus made his way through the house to find Grace. She confirmed that nothing was broken and gave him an ice pack for his injuries.
A few days later, once Klaus was able to conceal most of the bruising with concealer, he decided to confide in one of his siblings for help. And frankly, the only one he trusted with these types of situations.
As much as he loved and cared for his other siblings, none of them could help as much as Diego could.
Vanya was always timid and strayed away from the bunch. Klaus now realized this was mostly Dad’s fault, but as a child, he had no clue. Vanya was very thoughtful and cared for him recently, but Klaus never wanted to dump his problems into her lap. She was far too kind to need that much emotional baggage.
Luther was number one and very much acted as such. He was a goody two shoes, always wanting to prove he was a leader. Klaus never felt like he could bring problems to him either because instead of getting a hug, he would probably get a lecture.
Allison was by far a close second. She was also kind and thoughtful, but also very distracted with her current life. Especially now with the apocalypse threatening the world and her daughter.
One time, later in their adult life, Klaus had asked Allison to Rumor away his addictions (and get him more money, but that was beside the point). Allison refused and told Klaus he needed to deal with it on his own. Rumoring only made things worse. She also threatened to kick his ass if he asked her again.
And then there was Five. That little bastard. Even as kids, Five was a grumpy, sarcastic, know it all. Five was hard for Klaus to talk to sometimes because most of the things he said made no sense. (looking back, that was probably intentional). Five also probably had an alcohol problem, but Five would never admit it.
Diego seemed to be the best help. In the past, Klaus has asked Diego to tie him up and let him fight the withdrawal symptoms that way. Klaus shivered at the thought of doing that again.
The way Diego reacted to his strange requests was the reason why Klaus trusted in him. There was no shame, no mocking or sassy remarks. Diego just simply grabbed his rope and told Klaus to lead the way.
Before Klaus left his room to search for his brother, he was halted by a grunting sound.
“Something you would like to say Benny Boy?” Klaus drawled out with a smirk.
Ben rolled his eyes at the nickname.
“Are you really that dense Klaus? I told you those drugs do nothing but poison your mind”.
Klaus put a hand over his heart and fluttered his eyes.
“Brother, you wound me deeply. I am not dense. What gives with the ‘tude?”
“Seriously. You haven’t noticed?”
“Noticed what!?”
“Diego is in just as much need of help as you are. Instead of going to him for help, I think you should help each other.”
Klaus crossed his arms while he pondered this information.
Ben muttered some insult under his breath and walked over to Klaus.
“Oh shit. I am an asshole, Ben”
Ben nodded and gestured for him to continue.
“He has been a lot more testy and impatient ever since he lost Eudora. Cha-cha and Hazel haven’t helped much either.”
Ben let out a sign.
“You’ve been too drunk or high to notice the full picture, but yeah that’s it. You aren’t the only one with an alcohol problem.”
Klaus raised an eyebrow.
“Diego has been drinking himself silly these past few days. While you have been mourning the loss of Dave, he’s been mourning the loss of Eudora. I know how much you trust Diego, and I’m pretty sure he trusts you too. Being tied up helps you detox, but that won’t work for him”.
Klaus nodded in agreement. Losing Dave was absolutely horrible. And he knew exactly how Diego felt. Especially when her killers were out and about also hunting for Five.
“Okay, Benny. Have any ideas on how to help us both?”
Ben smirked.
“A competition”
Anyone who knew Diego knew just how competitive that man was. He was bad as a child and only got worse as an adult.
As kids, he always made sure he was the first one awake, the first one to meals, and definitely the first to train. If he successfully pinned you, you never heard the end of it.
Klaus on the other hand was way too free-spirited to be overly competitive. He was mostly a peacekeeper and didn’t try to get involved in heated arguments. But Klaus was also knowingly and purposely annoying. He enjoyed pestering his siblings and making them feel crazy. Whenever Diego was standing on his soap box, Klaus made sure to knock him off of it, even if it caused Diego to fall on top of him.
Taking a swig of the closest alcohol to him, (he wasn’t ready to start sobriety just yet)
Klaus went in search of Diego.
****
Diego was miserable. He had a throbbing headache, a sliced finger, and a broken heart. Although he and Patch didn’t end on great terms, he still felt responsible for not protecting her well enough. He had loved her, and now she was gone without him being able to make things right between them.
Diego knew he probably needed to watch his alcohol intake, but he just didn’t care at the moment. The alcohol helped fuel his anger as he plotted his revenge on cha-cha and Hazel.
Just as Diego was about to get up and use the bathroom, he heard shuffling outside his door.
Diego grabbed a knife, poised and ready to fling it at any time.
“Diego, I know you have a knife. It’s just me, your buddy Klaus!”
Diego instantly relaxed and opened the door.
Klaus was in his usual attire; a crop top ripped jeans, and barefoot. Diego noticed the bruising around his eye and nose but decided to not question him about it yet.
“Oh, brother! I missed you! Care to chat?”
Diego rolled his eyes.
“Klaus, I saw you just the other day when you snuck in through the back door. One night stand go wrong?” He teased.
Uncharacteristically though, Klaus didn’t chuckle. Stoic as can be he answered.
“Oh um, no. Robbed actually. For the third time. Assholes took my favorite shirt. Not that it matters because I stole it from a st-“
Diego cut Klaus off.
“You were robbed three times this week and this is the first you bring it up? What the hell Klaus! I can help protect you ya know.”
Klaus shrugged.
“I figured with the apocalypse it doesn’t really matter because we’re probably all gonna die anyway.” Klaus moved to sit on Diego’s bed, crossing one leg over the other.
Diego still processing all that had been said sat at his desk.
“So anyway. Enough about me. I want to talk about you bro.”
Diego looked up and made eye contact with Klaus.
“Me? What about me?”
“Oh don’t be so dense!” Klaus looked over across the room.
“Did I use that term correctly Ben?”
Diego glared at Klaus.
“Klaus, watch it, or else I won’t hesitate to give you another black eye. I can’t hit Ben remember.”
Klaus gulped and then flipped off the space in front of the closet. Diego really wished he could hear Ben sometimes.
“Anyway, as I was saying brother. You and I are more similar than you think. I drink alcohol because I miss Dave and you drink alcohol because you miss Eudora”.
Diego flinched at the mention of her name but didn’t say anything as Klaus continued.
“What I’m trying to say, is I think we need to help sober each other up. What do ya think? Bros before hoes right?”
Diego put down the knife he was fidgeting with. Klaus had a good point. He knew Klaus struggled with addiction issues, but never once considered the fact that his coping methods weren’t exactly kosher either.
More importantly, he knew deep down he wouldn’t be able to fight cha cha and hazel drunk.
“Okay, Klaus. Yes, I may be drinking too much. And no, I will not allow you to tie me up to potentially fulfill any of your kinky fantasies.”
“Silly Diego! You are not in any of my fantasies. Ben suggested we have a competition of sorts. The first one to cave and drink has to do whatever the winner wants as punishment. Buy dinner, tidy up the house, prank Five, yadda yadda yadda.”
Diego contemplated this for a sec. Klaus was way more unhinged than he was. How hard could it be? Besides, knowing Klaus he probably wouldn’t last an hour.
“Okay, man. I’m in. But after I win, just know that I am definitely tying you up because you will need a serious detox.”
Klaus chuckled and rose from the bed.
“It is on pretty boy”
Diego flicked Klaus on the nose and the two of them prepared for a couple of rough days.
*****
Diego was actually shocked that Klaus had lasted through the night. The two brothers had emptied their rooms of all alcohol to ensure neither one was drinking during the night. Pogo offered to be a neutral viewer and watch over the bar.
The other siblings had an inkling that something was going on between the pair, mostly because their emotions and attitudes were much shorter and meaner than usual. But no one knew the details. (Besides Ben of course).
The night was harder than Diego imagined. He had only been drinking for a few days, but being cut off sucked. His headache didn’t go away, and he was very irritable. Worst of all, he really wanted a drink. But his pride wouldn’t allow him to lose. Not yet anyway.
Klaus on the other hand had done something he never thought he would do willingly. Knowing he was unable to control himself, he had bribed Five with a couple of bags of marshmallows to lock him in the mausoleum for the night.
If Five was worried, he didn’t act like it. He just took the marshmallows, locked the doors, and didn’t look back.
Klaus soon regretted this decision, but having Ben with him this time, made it much more bearable. Ben keep reminding him that the soberer he became, the more likely he was to see Dave again.
Klaus held onto that feeling of hope, although he did feel slightly guilty that Diego didn’t have that option.
****
The two competitors met each other in the kitchen for breakfast. Both were worse for the wear. Not much was exchanged between the two, but just enough to know neither had cracked yet.
Klaus left the kitchen first, deciding he needed a bath. Diego followed soon after and decided to clean his room.
Diego was always one who typically kept his room clean, but after not living at the house for a while, he realized he had some childhood stuff to go through.
It took him a good portion of the day to sort through boxes and throw some stuff away. As Diego was rummaging through one of his drawers, he stumbled across something unexpected.
A flask.
Diego looked around to make sure no one was watching and sniffed it. Of course, it was full. He forgot that he had hidden it here after Dad's funeral. Deciding it was best to dump it, Diego emptied the contents down the sink and put the flask in his pocket.
****
When evening came again, it was just Klaus and Diego. Both sitting on the couch watching a rom-com. Both were still a little on edge, but at least the headaches and sweating had gone away.
Neither knew where the others were, but neither really cared either. Diego had made a bowl of popcorn and Klaus made each of them virgin strawberry daiquiris.
When the move was close to the end, Klaus reached for the remote and accidentally knocked over his glass. Thankfully it was empty, but it made a loud clang noise as it hit the table.
Klaus quickly apologized and glanced over at Diego who had jumped in his seat.
That’s when Klaus noticed something shiny sticking part way out of Diego’s pocket. It didn’t take a genius to know what it was.
“Diego! I can’t believe you! And during our movie night nonetheless!” Klaus patronized.
Klaus immediately dove across the couch and tried reaching for Diego’s pocket. Diego, who was a little slow to react, leaned back just as Klaus lunged. Instead of Klaus’s fingers hitting the flask, his aim was higher and poked Diego right in the ribcage. Diego let out a loud squeak and quickly cowered.
Both remained motionless for a few seconds while trying to figure out what the hell happened.
Klaus’s mouth formed into a smile. Not just a normal smile, but a mischievous one.
“I agree Ben. I also forgot about Diego’s sensitivities. Only fair to take advantage, especially with a cheater in our grasp.”
Diego panicked in his bout of confusion and tried to scramble away. Tickling always rendered Diego useless and once Klaus was going, it was hard to stop him.
“I-I don’t know wha-what your talking about Klaus! I-I didn’t cheat!”
Klaus tsked at his brother.
“First you cheated, and now you lie straight to my face? As the winner of our competition, I sentence you to a bout a tickles to pay for your crime. That will help you detox!”
Diego, now more confused than ever, attempted to roll off the couch and run away from Klaus to no avail. Klaus had the advantage as he quickly pinned Diego by landing on his back in his attempt to roll over. Klaus wasted no time digging his nimble fingers back into Diego’s ribcage to render him useless.
Diego started giggling maniacally and attempted to curl into a ball. Diego’s laughter was music to Klaus’s ears as he continued with his attack. Testing the waters, Klaus slid his fingers between the couch and Diego’s belly. He quickly started pinching the newfound flesh and giggled out-loud at the new string of insults and squeals he elicited from his brother.
Diego looked so adorable with his eyes wrinkled and a light coloring on his cheeks. His smile was genuine even though the laughter was forced. Klaus knew they were both enjoying this wonderful distraction, even if neither would admit it.
Diego snorted when Klaus “accidentally” dipped his finger into his belly button.
Klaus glanced behind the couch at seemingly nothing while he continued to tear Diego apart.
“Oh, that’s right! His belly button is another sensitive spot. Thanks for the reminder Ben!”
With this, Klaus wasted no time in working his fingers into Diego’s soft belly again, while also using his other hand to continue on his ribs. Diego never failed to snort each time that evil finger wormed into his navel. With Klaus squishing his back, Diego wasn’t able to arch his back away from the ticklish torture.
“Kl-Klaus! No! Hahaha, stop it! Whahahat the hell man!”
Diego was embarrassed at how quickly he caved. As children, it was no secret that Diego was by far the most sensitive. Tickle fights were not a super common occurrence, but were very entertaining when they did happen. And Diego was one of his family's favorite victim. Whether it be the loud laughter they always extracted from him or just how easy it was to get him giggling, his siblings loved to mess with him. Ben was the typical instigator, which is probably why he was feeding Klaus all his sensitive spots.
Bastard.
“Do you regret it now Diego?? Don’t you know alcohol is bad for you!” Klaus teased as he was now alternating between strumming his ribs and pinching his sides.
Not only was Diego giggling like a madman, but he was also confused as hell.
“KLAUS WHAHAT DO YOU MEAHEHEN!” Diego screeched out.
Klaus decided to give Diego a breather and switched to lightly tracing his nails against his ears and neck, just to keep him giggling but not enough to kill him.
“Diego, you really are dense! I saw that flask you are hiding in your pocket. So did Ben. He’s nodding in agreement I swear on my life.”
Then it clicked. The flask. Of course, Klaus had spotted it! And of course, he had no clue he had dumped the contents.
“Klaus! I dumped it! Swear to God!! Please just stop!“
Klaus immediately ceased after hearing the serious tone in his brother's voice. After his giggling and laughter had died down, Diego explained everything.
“Oh wow. I’m sorry Diego. I saw the flask and just assumed. I’m proud of you for dumping it, I know I wouldn’t have. Looks like the competition is still on then!”
Diego sat up from his seat.
“You know Klaus? I think I’d like to challenge you to a new competition.”
Klaus tilted his head, waiting for his brother to continue.
“How much you wanna bet that I also remember all of your sensitive spots?”
Klaus didn’t even have time to scramble away before Diego pounced. The room was soon filled with more shrieking and giggling as Diego took his time getting sweet sweet revenge.
The two knew they would have to face reality eventually, but why not do it with clear heads and smiles plastered to their faces?
Eternal sobriety was never going to happen, but knowing that they could overcome the temptation of over drinking was a huge accomplishment in itself. Especially knowing that neither had to fight that battle alone.
****
Hours later when Five finally arrived back at the mansion, he stumbled across the two brothers sleeping on the couch: Klaus’s head in Diego’s lap and Diego’s upper body draped over Klaus’s midsection.
Five just chuckled to himself and draped a blanket over the two of them. If ever questioned, he would swear on his life that he didn’t do it.
Unbeknownst to him, Ben was watching the whole thing, and would definitely be telling Klaus.
Pursed lips here, jutted out hip there, hands through short curls.
Klaus was enjoying watching himself pose in the mirror in his room, soft music playing from the boombox by his bed. It was relatively early for him to be awake and have this much energy. 10:18am. He checked the time a few times to be sure he wasn’t hallucinating. Then again, he’d been sober for months now, what would he be hallucinating?
Klaus hummed along to the groovy melody of the song playing and wrapped his boa around his bare shoulders and neck, getting up close to the mirror.
Hunger overcame the man like a sudden illness and he heard his stomach growl. Without missing a beat, Klaus pulled his door open and sauntered his way around the corner, the melody still in his head.
He was met with Diego’s back since the sibling was sitting at the head of the dining room table.
“Good morning, Starshine!” Klaus announced and he spread his arms out to his sides in lauding and salutations.
Diego turned his head and his eyes followed Klaus as he made his way to the pantry, “Hey, Klaus.”
“Up so early. I thought you were the night owl.”
“I could say the same about you.”
“Avoiding the explanation, tsk tsk,” Klaus settled on a bag of granola and he popped a handful into his mouth as he turned and sat on the table rather than in a chair, legs swinging.
Diego had a half-drunk coffee in front of him. Klaus studied his brother, but not for long, since he knew the guy’s tells. Something was on Diego’s mind. It didn’t seem to be a terribly awful something, since he wasn’t brooding.
“You’re staring, Klaus,” Diego pointed out with a hint of tiredness in his voice.
“You could also call it admiring,” he smirked, chewing on some more granola, “Something you want to share?”
“No. Why?”
“You’re looking... I dunno... pensive?”
Diego chortled briefly, “Pensive, huh? I guess so.”
Very weird, Klaus thought, narrowing his eyes. He was so.. so docile. Diego Hargreeves. Knife man. Batman. Him.
Klaus stretched out on the tabletop, laying on his stomach as his face inched closer to Diego’s, “You’re worrying.”
“There are about 15 other rooms in this house I can go to--”
“Sorry, sorry, stay. Come on and stay,” Klaus cut his brother off, sticking a finger in his mouth to wrench an oat out from between his teeth.
“Do we need a bro to bro moment? Hm? We haven’t had those in a while,” Klaus was smiling now, meaning no harm. He set the granola down after offering some to Diego. Now he wrung the end of the feather boa around his hand.
Diego sighed. He was off today. But he knew why, at least. He just didn’t like it. He was feeling vulnerable.
“I was just thinking about all of us. All of you. What if anything happens where you’re not safe, you know? I dunno, the usual crap,” Diego stared down at his lap after leaning back in his seat.
Klaus didn’t expect Diego to open up even a little. So this was highly unusual. But Klaus found himself smiling anyway.
“You’re acting so,” Klaus’s eyes darted around trying to come up with the word before he pleasantly landed on, “soft.”
That got a reaction out of Diego. He shifted in his seat and cleared his throat, clearly trying to suppress any signs of a blush from becoming visible, “I’m not soft. This is why I don’t talk to you.”
“Hey, this is a judgement-free zone!” Klaus defended. He reached his boa over and fluttered it on Diego’s neck, making the brother cringe.
“Cut that out.”
“See!? You’re so soft! Mushy little Diego! You would’ve been cursing at me and pulling out your knives to threaten me by now, but no!” Klaus leaned forward more and persisted, able to run the feathered end by Diego’s left ear and neck.
Diego shook his head out and a giggle spilled from his lips. He wasn’t trying to actively stop Klaus’s annoyance.
Klaus slid himself forward on the table roughly and threw the boa around the back of Diego’s neck, hooking him in it and rustling it back and forth. Diego laughed and he shrunk down. Klaus dove a hand down and followed Diego, the hand squeezing right into the lower belly fat he knew would be there. Number Two yelped and he sunk into his chair further and further.
Klaus stopped tormenting Diego, “There’s always gonna be something wrong with all of us, I think you know that. But we’re good for right now. Nothing unsafe like you worry about,” he smiled through Diego’s lingering giggles and throat-clears as he righted himself on the chair he was in.
“I know,” Diego answered finally.
Klaus smiled and he wrapped his boa around his neck again, grabbing the bag of granola as he hopped off the kitchen table.
“Nice feathers, Big Bird,” Diego remarked as Klaus was leaving.
Klaus spun around and gasped so dramatically, that simple outburst was enough to get Diego laughing again. But he wasn’t laughing as hard as when Klaus went for round two.

“Klaus, I swear to god, if you don’t shut up, I’m going to take this knife and jam it into your ribs,” Five warned, gesturing towards Klaus with the knife he was making his sandwich with.
“Oh come on Five, lighten up. You’re always so grumpy,” Klaus teased with a cheeky smile. Five said nothing in response, merely scowled at his brother. “Oh come on Five, have some fun. Don’t make me bring Ben out, because believe me, he is talking my ear off,” Klaus threatened with a smirk. Five’s scowl faltered for a second before quickly reinstating itself.
“Do whatever you want, as long as it’s at least five hundred feet away from me.” Klaus tsked at Five before mumbling something under his breath. He then turned back to Five.
“I warned you, now you must suffer the consequences…” Klaus warned dramatically. Five’s scowl faltered, once again, before he forced himself to regain it once more. Klaus’ face shifted into a look of concentration as Ben slowly began to come into his physical form. Once Ben was fully formed he turned towards Five with his classic malicious smirk. As soon as Five saw that, his scowl fully left his face, and he bolted as fast as his little legs would carry him.
“Damn these fucking thirteen year old legs,” Five muttered, trying to out run the older boys. Klaus and Ben shared an identical look of evilness, joy, and playfulness.
After a few more minutes of this joyous chase, Five was tackled and pinned to the ground by Klaus, with Ben right on his heels.
“Alright Five, we tried to warn you, and you didn’t listen,” Ben taunted, “Now we’re gonna have to punish you.” Five struggles violently against his restraints, but he’s still unable to keep the playful smile off of his face. Klaus looks down at his “little” brother with adoration, loving the adorable pink tint the cheeks of his face adopted. Ben looked upon Five with an almost identical look of adoration, that is before he dug into Five’s sides with no warning. Five yelped in surprise before falling into high pitched giggles.
“Behehehehehehen!” Ben ignored his name and danced his fingers all over Five’s sides. Five giggled helplessly trying to squirm away from the devious fingers. Having no success of course. After a few minutes of watching his brothers fondly, Klaus decided to join in on the fun. He started poking along Five’s ribs, making Five let out a small squeak every time he did.
“Hey Ben, hold on there for just a second,” Klaus asked, looking at Five curiously. Ben took his hands away from Five’s sides, looking at Klaus with a curious look. Klaus poked Five’s ribs again a few more times. Each time Five produced the same high pitched squeak. “Alright, now Ben, will you poke his sides for me?” Ben did as he was told and Five produced a hiccupy sound each time. Klaus got a look of complete bewilderment once Ben did this. “Ben!” Klaus shouted excitedly, grabbing ahold of Ben’s wrists.
“What!” Ben responded in the same tone as Klaus, despite having no idea what was going on.
“If you poke or tickle him in different spots it causes different sounds,” Klaus said excitedly, as Five blushed the color of a tomato. Ben quickly lit up with the same excitement of Klaus’. Five started struggling even more once he saw the look his brother had gotten.
“You start at his head and I’ll start at his feet?” Klaus nodded excitedly and pinned Five’s hands down with his knees.
“Nononononononothat’snotnecessary,” Five rushed out, trying to keep his arms mobile and his ankles free of Ben’s weight. His brothers just laughed at him and continued pinning him down. Once Ben had finally sat on top of Five’s ankles he started peeling off Five’s shoes. Five immediately tried to thrash away from the offending hands, and tried to desperately cling onto his socks and shoes with his toes. Despite all of his valiant effort hsi socks and shoes were still stolen away from his feet. As soon as the clothings were off he scrunched his foot up, trying to prepare himself for the onslaught.
“Aw, Five, why are you curling your toes?” Ben tsked, grabbing Five’s toes and gently pulling them back, “We just can’t have that, now can we?” Five didn’t say anything in response, he merely bit down on his lip, and tensed his legs up, preparing for the attack that was about to be unleashed on his soles. He scrunched his eyes shut, tensed his legs, and balled his hands into fists. Klaus smirked at Ben, and the second Five shut his eyes Klaus started skittering his fingers across Five’s neck. Five screeched in surprise before falling into light, airy giggles. Ben let Klaus continue on with this for a little while before he started scratching at Five’s soles. Five started squirming a lot more, as well as he started producing much more frantic, and much louder giggles than before. Ben explored all over Five’s soles, getting slightly varying reactions in the different areas. After a little bit more of that, the two shift spots again. Ben is about to squeeze at Five’s knees before Klaus stops him.
“Hold on, that’s his worst spot, we should save that for last.” Ben nods along in agreement, and starts squeezing at Five’s thighs which caused Five to start cackling, and desperately trying to free his legs from Ben.
“Aww, Klaus, listen to him, he sounds so adorable,” Ben cooed, vigorously squeezing at Five’s thighs. Klaus smiled at Ben with an adoring smile, then down at Five with a teasing, but still loving smirk. After a while, Klaus went and put his hands just above Five’s underarms, signalling for Ben to stop. Much to Five’s relief and much to Ben’s reluctancy, he stopped squeezing Five’s thighs. Klaus was nice enough to give Five a small breather before gently scratching. Five fell into a light squirming and giggling, his eyes still squeezed shut from before.
“Plehehehehease!” Five giggled out, trying to pull his arms down. Klaus just shook his head and stopped.
“Alright Five, I think we just have like, one more spot to do, then we’ll be down,” Klaus reassured Five, gently petting his hair.
“But don’t think that we aren’t going to do this a bunch more,” Ben chimed in. Before Five could whine out a complaint Klaus put in his two cents.
“Because, your laughter is…”
“Music to our ears,” the two of them finished in unison. Five blushed darker than he had the entire time.
“Shut up you sappy losers,” Five mumbled out, an adorable smile on his face. His brothers just looked at him with a smile to match his, which of course just made him blush even more.
“Alright, you ready to finish this,” Klaus asked sweetly. Five nodded slowly and squeezed his face shut again, tensing his legs up once again. Ben started slowly squeezing Five’s knee and the reaction was immediate. Five’s back arched and he let out a loud yelp before falling into loud laughter, bouncing his legs around. Ben started squeezing more vigorously, Five howled with laughter and tried to desperately pull his knees away from his tormentor. As soon as Five’s laughter went silent Ben stopped the squeezing and Klaus helped him sit up. Ben and Klaus hugged Five and he hugged them back after a few pokes to the sides.
“You all done being a grump?” Ben asked teasingly. Five giggled and nodded.
“For now at least.” Klaus and Ben both rolled their eyes, but the playful smiles on their faces revealed how they actually felt.
“You guys wanna go watch a movie?” Klaus asked, getting nods in response. They all went to the living room and turned on a movie. In almost no time at all, Five had spread himself out across the two older boys and was fast asleep. Klaus and Ben looked at their little brother with love and silently agreed to not move until he had woken up.
