Lesbian mums dancing with the closeted queer man >>>
I find it interesting that gay parents think their kids gonna get bullied when they start going to school.
Because a six year old is going to be like, “two boys can’t date, that’s gross.”
No!
A normal six year old is gonna be like, “woah! Two dads! That’s so cool!”
There‘s gonna be a kid in the corner that has an absent parent who’s gonna be like, “I wish I had two dads.”
There’s gonna be a kid with two Mums that’s gonna be like, “I got two mums! Isn’t that so cool!”
Then, they’re all going to move on, because they’re six year olds.
So I need to ramble about something because it’s weighing on my mind a lot- I won’t provide too much information because I like keeping social media and real life separate.
I’m a donor conceived person, I have gay mums and recently I’ve been interested in finding out about my donor and potential half siblings. Unfortunately, my parents (unknowingly at the time) went through an extremely dodgy company that was shut down shortly after my birth due to fraud and the person running it went to prison. Understandably, this is causing me some issues. I filled in the form from the HFEA (human fertilisation and embryology authority) anyway just in case, and they got back to me really quickly saying they have no records, and that the documents from the company my parents went through were seized by the police as evidence. Now my best bet is to contact the police asking if they can give me any information
I’m worried it’ll be a lot of hassle, and chances are I won’t find anything, so is it worth it? I’ve been thinking about looking into it for a long time but I’m really conflicted
Anyway that’s all. I know no one will really read this but it feels good to get it out
Honestly, the reason I love the movie storks so much (more than anything else in the movie which was awesome and all) is the scene where they deliver the babies and you pause as it speeds up and see all the parents that got kids.
Straight couples
Gay couples
Lesbian couples
Single mums
Single dads
that's how the world should be
The storks don't give a damn as long as you truly want that baby.
They know you will care for them.
They know you will love them.
And it kinda saddens me that the adoption system isn't like that.
this took me 13 hours to complete :’)

Just remembered when I was in kindy and for Mother’s Day we had our mums come in for a spa day, to treat them
And we gave them massages, face masks and foot rubs etc etc.
But I have two mums, and there is unfortunately only one of me
So naturally I let a girl in my class who’s mum for whatever reason couldn’t come/wasn’t in her life (idk I was 5), borrow one of my mums for the day
I Didn’t think twice about twice about it, and no one seemed very concerned about it
When Father’s Day came around a couple months later she regrettably informed me that she only had one dad so I couldn’t borrow hers
Luckily I had an uncle so I could bring him along
I can’t believe the boy is 1 next month - he’s growing up so fast!
We had our video consultation with the clinic yesterday - I was very relieved to hear that I have a fairly high AMH level! All signs so far point to me being okay to do IUI so the next step is to get my tubes checked in the middle of my next cycle then, all being well, we should be okay to start! We have 1 vial of sperm left from when we made the boy so we’re gonna start with that and, if necessary, we’ll buy more in a few months once we have saved a bit more. From what I have read, it looks like Brexit will have made getting the sperm imported from Denmark even more pricey than before!
It’s crazy to think we could be trying for baby number 2 in May! 😱
