Actually no ‘counter argument’ (heavy quotation marks) that Mike haters use repulses me more than the “you wanna fuck Finn Wolfhard” accusation in a conversation where Finn Wolfhard has never once been mentioned and there is nothing suggesting the person has any romantic interest in him
It makes it even worse that a good 90% of the time they’ll be saying this to whole ass lesbians or minors
I once had this thrown at me in a conversation which was literally about whether Mike contributed plans to the show, so I was listing examples like the tunnel burn, the sauna trap, the Turnbow and Mac-Z plans and etc (so obviously nothing relating to sex) and somehow got asked if I wanna peg Finn Wolfhard out of nowhere in the middle of the argument 😭 like first of all no, i literally don’t care about that musty man and I’ve never spoken about him I only care about Mike, and also secondly while are you like 25 and making headcanons about who you think a random 16 year old on the internet wants to have sex with. Just volatile and weird as fuck
I also remember one of my mutuals who quite literally had ‘butch’ in her display name and the lesbian flag in her pfp being told she wants to suck him off, and when she tried to call it out, people completely deflected and kept dogpiling her.. 💀 I actually cannot stand those types of people omg they’re rancid
They’re no better than those vile lesphobic men that always accuse women of secretly wanting dick and stuff like that. And maybe this is too woke but I’d say it’s borderline sexual harassment to randomly say something like that to a stranger during a SFW conversation, especially if you’re an adult saying it to a minor
