Update on the situation and the delay of the book!
Unfortunately, in these past weeks our work had to come to a halt due to personal circumstances. The silver lining is that one of us received an amazing promotion at work but, as wonderful as that is, it also brought our chapter planning and book schedule to an abrupt stop 🥲
At the moment, we don’t know exactly when we’ll be able to resume regular publication. We promise we’ll keep you updated as soon as we have clearer news!
We are truly, deeply sorry. We’ve always said we would never abandon or interrupt this project, and we meant it with all our hearts but sometimes life steps in, and there’s very little you can do but pause and take it as it comes 🥺

Chapter 19 - The Responsibility of Blood
They hadn’t even bothered to close the curtains. Morning light spilled into the room, washing over the wrecked bed and ruined sheets. The unmistakable scent of strawberry lube lingered in the air, engulfing Max's overly sensitive vampire senses. It made his eyes roll and his lips curl in an involuntary laugh every time he caught a whiff of it. They had passed out right there. No shower, not even words were exchanged. They had just collapsed, tangled together in the chaos of the night before. For the last several minutes, Max had just stayed there, replaying the events of last night. Meanwhile, Charles hadn’t moved an inch. He was still wrapped tightly in Charles’ arms that were heavy and unmoving, keeping him in close. Even in his unconscious state, Charles’ body couldn’t bear to let go of him. And Max… Max still felt everything.
