Big shout out to Letcher County. No better place than our state to have a place whose name basically means "horny person county." Keep being Lecherous, you all!
“Then what ya want? The star treatment? I’ll put up white Christmas lights all in the house n'hide a friggin’ ring in some roses. Tell me, baby, ‘cause I don’t want this good thing gone. I want ya forever.”
Being Someone Else || Luke + Fletcher || March, 2017
Fletcher: "Hey, I wasn't done with that!"
Luke: "... You're done now." Because that’s probably his third.
Luke: Luke covers Fletcher's eyes, porn on the TV show.
Fletcher: "What?"
Luke: "Don't look at things like that. They're bad for the soul."
Fletcher: "Sex is bad for the soul?"
Luke: "Like that, yes."
Fletcher: "Like what, spontaneous?"
Luke: "Like pornography."
Fletcher: "All sex recorded is gonna appear that way. It's all lovely."
Luke: "It's... trashy."
Fletcher: "To have it recorded so ya can look back on what a wonderful time ya had with the person ya care about?"
Luke: "Is that what you want? To have numerous videos of all the people you've slept with?"
Fletcher: "Not of all of them."
Luke: "... That's enough of that conversation."
Fletcher: "Alright."
Luke: "Don't really fancy imagining you doing that."
Fletcher: "Having sex?"
Luke: "Does that make me sound bad?"
Fletcher: "Depends."
Luke: "On what?"
Fletcher: "Are you upset at the idea of me having sex with other people, or you?"
Luke: "W-with... with other people."
Fletcher: "M'not havin' sex with other people."
Luke: "Neither am I."
Fletcher: "I wouldn't want t'see anyone else in a recordin' with me." Eyes forward.
Luke: "-- What do you mean?"
Fletcher: "You're not dumb. Ya know what I mean. If I did ever record somethin' like that, as I said, somethin' t'look back on with someone I care about, who d'ya think I'd want t'see?"
Luke: The bartender. "Yourself?"
Fletcher: "Ugh, Luke."
Luke: "Luke isn't here right now, you're left with his evil more sexually-promiscuous criminal twin brother."
Fletcher: "...What?"
Luke: Luke leans closer. "Just kissing you makes me not understand my body. Making love to you and filming it... I'd have to be another person. I'd need more experience. Merely your lips make me ache, are you trying to kill me?"
Fletcher: Fletcher Goodman...wasn't here right now, either. He was somewhere off in the Umbra, stunned to death by what Luke Husher had just said to his face.
Luke: Luke simply looks at him, watching and waiting.
Fletcher: "W-We wouldn't be doin' - doin' that for uh...for a long while, man. This is just talk. I - We're not supposed t'do that until you're in love with me, and I'm... in love with ya."
Luke: More stammering and stuttering. Luke wished he understood what caused it. He slowly nods. "I know. I know."
Fletcher: Fletcher sighed. "So then don't talk like that."
Luke: "What am I talking like? I am being honest."
Fletcher: "Talkin' about us havin' sex in the future, 'bout ya wantin' experience, be another person... It's too much t'listen to. S'too hot."
Luke: "H-Hot?!" He starts to laugh but pain quickly makes him stop with a wince, "I-I thought I was upsetting you."
Fletcher: "No, angel, not upsettin' me. Just caught me off guard."
Luke: His hand reaches out to Fletcher's, caressing the back of his wrist and then around into his palm. "Are you on guard now?"
Fletcher: "When am I not?" He laced their fingers together.
Luke: "Well, just now, apparently," he smiles brightly.
Fletcher: "How ya figure?"
Luke: "I'm wondering... if it's why you occasionally stutter." Fletcher's hand is brought over for a kiss, he then hides the bottom half of his face behind their links fingers.
Fletcher: "I just...get overwhelmed sometimes."
Luke: For some strange reason that Luke may never understand, the term 'overwhelmed' in reference to Fletcher is endearing. Sweet, almost. His poor sweet Fletcher. "Overwhelmed... by me?"
Fletcher: "I wanna say like ten things at once and so I dunno what the fuck m'tryin' t'say." He kissed the back of Luke's hand.
Luke: "I see. I'll always be patient with you, know that. I'm happy to give you the time you need to understand what you want to say."
