found this in my notes from a year ago: Henri looked at Agnes. Agnes looked at Henri. Henri and Agnes looked at each other. Also, there was a problem with a window that needed to look perfect.

I have only just discovered Mr. Selfridge and am now deeply in love with Henri and Agnes (obv.) I’m not sure who created this gif, but whoever you are, you are wonderful !

Watching Agnes run after Henri and call him Mr. Leclair and show him for the first time that she has just as much of an eye for design as he in the first ep of the first season just really tugs at the heart strings, knowing esp that they’ll be married in about 10 years.

Imagine George baby-sitting when if Agnes gets pregnant. Imagine Henri being too scared to leave his baby and go to work because what if something happens and he isn’t there to stop it but Agnes and Josie calm him and assure him that George is great with kids. Imagine George telling Baby Letowler embarrassing stories about Agnes. Imagine George sneaking Baby Letowler sweets behind Agnes’ back and then being a terrible liar when she confronts him about it and admitting to everything, and imagine Agnes trying to be angry with him but she can’t tell him off because she’s smiling so hard. Imagine Josie essentially adopting Baby Letowler as a grandchild (since I think she sees the Towler siblings almost like her children by this point) and taking them out for picnics in the summer and bringing along a bag of bread crusts with them to feed to the ducks and Henri being there, watching with his hands in his pockets and this smile on his face like he can’t quite believe he’s not dreaming, and Agnes wrapping her arms around his and smiling up at him, and they both watch Josie help their kid feed the ducks, and then George runs over waving his arms and frightens the ducks away, and Josie smacks him lightly on the shoulder but she doesn't mean anything by it, and just.... ahh...
