I respect your opinions so much. I'm one of the rare few that actually adores switch!destiel (like Cas and Dean switch between top and bottom in the fic, or I just love both top!cas and sub!cas fics), and so many people look down on that and are so mean about it. I like Cas to have a sub!attitude but still be top! in the bedroom sometimes. Does that make sense? Anyway, I love you and I love your blog. Thank you for being so respectful towards differing opinions and always tagging your posts. c:

Yup!

Problem is, I'm a quick reader with a voracious appetite for fic, so even fics that length only last me a few days. >_< It also means I've read a lot, so it's really difficult for me to find fics that I haven't read before and are still safe for me to read.

When will the next chapter of yccbcad be out? It's very important for my sanity.

Well, we're not sure yet tbh. Michaela will be back in the states and my arms-only not, because she's super not touchy and im an octopus and not even interested in her like that, but shes my partner for life-annnnd im rambling. on June 3rd. We originally had the idea to finish it by the date when we first published last year (sometime in May) but then my life kinda went to shit again so I haven't written anything yet... So hopefully within a month or so. Definitely before we go to Destiel Con.

Cas is supposed to be the emotional one, not Dean. Cas cried in the middle of the restaurant when Dean proposed to him. It would've been embarrassing if Dean hadn't been so over the moon that he'd said yes. Cas is just more open to showing he has feelings than Dean.

He swallows thickly and starts over, but he chokes again as he speaks. His eyes start to mist over as he looks at Cas. Cas is unwavering in front of him. Dean can sense the eerie silence around him as people start to think he's having second thoughts. Some probably aren't surprised in the least based on Dean's track record with commitment. Cas though, Cas looks more in love than ever as Dean effectively ruins the video that Charlie is taking of this.

He forces himself to continue, but every time he tries harder, he gets more emotional about the soft smile Cas gives him, and the way his hair can't be tamed, so a little tuft sticks up defiantly on the side. 

Dean shuts down completely on the second section, and he feels the tear slip down his cheek. He looks down at where their hands are joined, hoping no one will see his tears, but Cas lifts his arm and catches the stray tear with his finger.

"Take as long as you need. I'm not going anywhere," Cas whispers as he leans in and squeezes Dean's hand where it still holds his. Dean sniffles and can feel another tear streak down his cheek. This is so embarrassing. He needs to suck it up. He's getting married. It's not like someone died.

As Dean's mentally berating himself for openly crying at his wedding, Cas tips his chin up and softly kisses away the tears staining Dean's freckled cheeks. Dean's eyes flutter closed at the sensation, and he takes a shuddering breath. 

"I love you," Dean whispers so only Cas can hear. It's something Dean's never initiated. Even when he proposed, he didn't say it first. He figures now is the time to get over that. Cas deserves to know Dean wants this even if he can't get through the vows without fumbling.

"I've never doubted that. Never will," Cas says as he presses their foreheads together. The officiator and the audience are completely forgotten as they murmur to each other. "I love you too," Cas says, and it's a promise more than a statement. A promise that none of Dean's screw ups or choke ups are going to change how Cas feels. It gives Dean strength.

Dean gives a tiny nod, and they pull back. He takes a steadying breath and repeats the vows without a hitch. Cas does the same, and when they are told they may kiss, Dean sweeps Cas into his arms and kisses him tenderly.

He holds Cas snugly to his side as they walk down the aisle toward where the tables are set up, so they can start the receiving line. Dean tucks his face into Cas neck as they wait for people to come over. "Thank you...not just for out there, but for sticking around. I know I can be hard to live with—"

"Don't belittle my husband in front of me, Dean. I'll have you know he's the light of my life, and I won't hear anything to the contrary," Cas says back then turns to greet several of his distant relatives. Dean just looks at him completely besotted until Cas nudges him softly to pay attention.
