"Hello, Vagabooboo. Are you keeping busy?"

"I was thinking Valarie, or Vanny or maybe Violet-" Vaggie sighed loudly before giving him a side eye with her one good eye.

"Unfortunately yes. This is the first time we've been THIS busy." She'd glare at him lightly. "It would go fuckin' easier if you actually pitched in, Antlers."

"My brave little fawn, I am ready to fulfill my part of the deal if you are."

"Ooooh~?"

His little fawn would prance out from behind his desk, practically skipping over to greet his darling devil. He giggled, bending some to the side, canting his head with a taunting gleaming grin.

"Really now? Goodness, why, I haven't even prepared-" The little brunette would dust off his waistcoat and card a hand through his curls. "Shall I make us something then? Some tea? Wine? I have whiskey as well~"

"I too have been working on my spell for you." He murmured, reaching up to brush a dainty palm over the redhead's cheek. "I must say your timing is excellent, darling~" Al teased.

As soon as she heard Charlie's voice, Vaggie perked up and started to tug on Esperanza's hand, her pace quickening. "This way." She paused briefly outside the door and glanced at her daughter. "Are you still feeling up to this?" Esperanza nodded, offering her mother a smile and a nudge. As they entered, Vaggie squeezed her daughter's hand and guided her over to Charlie. "Rani, this is Charlie- my girlfriend. Charlie, this is Esperanza...my daughter."

While her complexion, nose and shape of her eyes were very similar to Vaggie's, including the dappling of freckles over her cheeks, Esperanza otherwise bore a striking resemblance to Lute. She wasn't as tall as Lute but certainly taller than Vaggie. Her hair was cut short- much like Vaggie's had been when Charlie had first met her. Esperanza paused for a moment before she extended a hand and said, "It's nice to meet you. Mami told me a little bit about you."

Vaggie was beaming with pride, her eye watering a bit as she held her daughter's arm. She glanced at Charlie and explained, "I only told her the basics. I wanted to let you both find common ground without my interference."

"Hey, Char? Can I talk to you for a minute?" Vaggie asked, her voice soft in a way that clearly indicated she was nervous about the topic. Her wings were out and she was gently worrying the tip of one of her feathers with her fingers.

"It's not...urgent but it's just something that's been on my mind. If you're busy, I can wait."

Standing next to the short king on Lucifer's right side, Alastor stands staring forward, hands behind his back.

A shadow tendril, however, taps Lucifer's left shoulder before disappearing quickly so it would be unseen.

Lucifer looked to the side, checking uneasily over his shoulder to who had snuck up on him, and touched him, only to find no one there at all??

Did he… Did he just imagine that?? What?? As discreetly as he could manage, the king peeked up over at Alastor to see if he might have spotted anything unusual. Surely, it hadn’t just been him??

"Hello, Miss Charlie... Yes, I'm ready to go into the exposure therapy." Don had his powers off, as he had learned to turn them off a couple days ago, allowing him to hide them when needed.

"... I know that... The exposure therapy won't be a complete success, but it'll help me make progress with coping with my trauma." He took a moment to look around, make sure no one but him and Charlie were in the area. "Are you ready as well? Just checking to make sure no one comes to interrupt our session."

"And what exactly is an N-P-C, hmmm?"

Pomni shifted uncomfortably under the other's gaze. He didn't have the same vibe as the NPCs she had met so far, there was something....oddly threatening about him; not that she could die. She was also hesitant to answer, because if he was an NPC--the last one she helped get self aware freaked out. And then they bonded. And then he blew up. "Its an acronym standing for...Non Playable Character. Not a person, just a bunch of code whose purpose is to fill the gaps in stories that the players...uh....me, and my friends....don't fill ourselves."
