If you allow minors the option to roleplay with you, even though you have "will not do NSFW with minors" and that content is still on your blog, you're still blurring that boundary and potentially exposing them to sexual content.

It's a really uncomfortable red flag to me, and I know that not a lot of people may feel the same way, but we as adults have a responsibility to maintain boundaries and be fucking responsible.

I feel more strongly about this than ever, and when new blogs follow me with that, I block on site. If I discover that I missed it in someone's rules who I'm mutuals with, I am definitely going to bring it up to you and we will go from there.

Do not allow minors onto your blog if you write NSFW content! They don't care if it's tagged! Do not normalize exposing children to this! I don't care if they're 17, I don't care if they're 'mature for their age'! These levels of comfort with adults are exactly the sorts of desensitizing that enables grooming.

It's raining in his bayou. He can make it stop at any time.

He chooses not to, sitting in the hole of mud and reeds that he has established as the space he will not be moving from for at least a few hours.

And yet he will maintain his sour expression for the wetness of his fur.

This is stupid.

A massive purple monstera leaf is held over Alastor’s head, stopping the rain from soaking him further… though the mud still leaks in through red clothes and is no doubt chilling, fur or not.

With a snap of Lucifer’s fingers, one of his favored shawls floats from thin air and places itself snuggly along Alastor’s shoulders. The devil is looking around through the downpour, trying to spot anything that the other man might have been staring at or waiting on, only to come up empty. Considering the space is conjured, he didn’t think this was for its upkeep, or enrichment for the gators, but there was no way to know for certain, other than to ask.

Resolutely, he plops down into the mud puddle with a soggy splish, and leans against Alastor’s arm. Then noses his way underneath it, sharing his warmth as Alastor’s personal space heater —

“By the seven spinning snakes, you’re cold! Nothing can deter you once you put your mind to it, that’s for sure. Though, I have to say, what’s occupying it, right now?”

Fine china clinked casually onto the table in the garden, never truly open only the worthy could step into the toxic fog that surrounded his hoarded land. No matter the hidden gem, every day around this time he had the same tea, just as he would in life he brought the tradition to hell, two separate pots. One for his guests and one for himself, butterfly tea in one and warm crimson sinner ichor in the other. There was no reason to exclude just because of pallet but if someone could not be polite they might incurred the wrath of the Hunter who dared to open such a sacred space. His smoke made cat rubbed between his legs appearing and disappearing with the shift of the winds. Ever the warning. Taking a breath some days he just had to put on the mask, hearing the footsteps approach the table. "You could at least announce yourself, I mean no harm." The sinner man called casually, after all if he really wanted the unannounced guest out the plants decorating the garden would listen to him for dinner time.

“And where’s the surprise in that? You knew I was coming.” Lucifer is unrepentent, chuckling as he finally becomes visible as well as audible, strolling into view and sinking into the empty chair with a greatful sigh. A tray with some snacks to go along with the tea sets itself on the table, and with an idle hand wave, picks out a few for himself. Magic floating a couple of lemon squares onto his plate and cut sandwich.

“I figured you wouldn’t mind a little company coming to check on you. Have you been enjoying your week off?”

No duties, no training, no lessons. Just a vacation — but Lucifer could admit to missing the sinner he took in under his wing like a son. And as he had with Charlie before she left the nest, fussed over him. It only got worse when it became only the two of them in the Morningstar estate. If not for Clyde, Lucifer truly would be alone.

The fallen was trying not to be clingy… and give the other man some space…

But, well, here he was, five days later.

In Alastor's estimation, this imaginary battle has already been won the moment Lucifer's stammered response reaches his ears.

He turns, slightly, to provide a further display of small curves and swells on an otherwise thin body, even going so far as to offer a cheeky stretch as the other nears his place on the bed.

"Am I saying anything particularly?" Alastor offers as a non-answer, turning so that he can rest up on an elbow, glancing at both Lucifer and the food he has brought as an evident gift. "I just thought it might be a nice, comfortable thing to wear while I appreciate what you've brought for me."

But he knows he is being purposefully coy, and he is sure Lucifer can tell, too. Alastor wants the devil to take a bit of charge. It's an enticing prospect.

"Mm, perhaps touches can be earned with the right amount of honeyed words while I eat?" Because he is already reaching to find a bit of the food he's been promised, taking a small tidbit to pop into his mouth.

Lucifer releases another slow breath, gaze sharpening at the challenge presented to him, “You tease.”

Not so unexpected, considering the usual push-pull dynamic between them... ‘Cold’ his ass — but two can play at this game.

The waiter guise, what remained of it, melted the rest of the way as the devil leaned in, the claws of his supporting hand digging into the sheets. “So it seems you want some flattery before I make good on my promise, hmm~? This worried about choking on your food because I hit the right pressure point?”

His free hand ghosts just above the fur on Alastor’s leg, enough to disturb but not enough to claim it a touch, all the way down to a pair of large hooves where a claw tapped pointedly. Then the hand rested on one outright. “It isn’t as if you haven’t endured that before, right? When you ate my heart grasped so tightly in your hands. Swallowing, flushed, sinking in your teeth with each. gasping. bite…”

His claws dance up along the foot, before taking it in hand and beginning to rub firmly with the pad of his thumb just behind the hoof. His skin is hot to the touch, a moving heated stone pressing into tender spots to release tense muscle. Spreading the toes of it before easing back up towards the ankle and down again.

“You are a vision, Alastor, must you taunt me? Try and tempt me and my hands? I won’t tear it off of you like an animal, even if I am as insatiable when it comes to you. No, I want to dedicate my sight and touch and hearing to impressing your gift into my memory as I number each stroke I left upon your supple skin, my star. I will leave you wanting for more of my touch to keep you warm —” Lucifer gives a pointed tug on the captive foot in hand “— just as I am wanting to close this distance between us. I’m accomodating today, but I’m not going to beg, Alastor.”

“I am going to suggest, and you will allow it. Eventually.”

But he will comply with a slight roll of his eyes, shutting his eyes and opening those sharp jaws of his.

“A who-what now?” He has yet to be exposed to a peep, but the moment he does discover them, likely they will be all he eats for the next week until he gets sick from them. Alastor, you started it.

What the grousing radio demon DOES get, is a kiss! With tongue! Right into those very sharp jaws where there was a 50/50 chance of it getting bitten off.

Smooch, smooch! Totally worth the risk. He does it for the love of the game and for Alastor’s kisses. Only a liiiiittle sweet.

The spread of wings whooshing past her and casting their brief shadows over the grass was enough to make her heart race with anxiety. She didn't show it in her face as she maintained her steely neutrality, gaze lifting to look at the unwanted trespasser with a stifled sneer. Didn't those pesky angels have better things to do than to impose on her downtime upon Earth? It was so brief, and there was not a trace of human foot in sight. They ought to leave her alone.

Once he settled down with wings shining brightly red, Lilith felt at ease. The bitter taste in her mouth dissolved as her lips pulled into a lopsided smirk.

"I was hoping to have this whole meadow to myself, but I suppose I could scoot over and make room for you if you can guess the password," she challenged as she brought her knees up to hug them at her chest.

“Does ‘please’ count as the password? No, wait, ‘pretty please’? Or should it be something like ‘pretty please with a cherry on top’?” Lucifer is being a little bit of an insufferable little shit, prancing on over with the sun shining bright — it’s warm and the world is wide with possibilities anyone could grasp if they simply reached out their hand.

Something about Earth, something about how Eden had once been before everything unspooled, made other realmed feel more restricted by comparison.

Probably because it was ‘forbidden’.

Giving a little spin, Lucifer rocks back on his heels — and fell onto the ground on his back, cushioned by grass and feathers, stretching out. He seemed to already be making himself comfortable. “Can’t possibly be ‘or else what’, can it? One would think those were fighting words and not reverse psychology.”

She understood what he left unsaid, he soon realizes. Of course she did, she knows how he thinks. He should feel comforted by that, yes? It feels wrong not to be...

Sorting with his thoughts without realizing, the pun, the attempt to lighten the tension, the sudden change in tone as it were... it's enough to rouse him back outward, consciousness swimming again to the surface and halting the multiple trains of thought he was on. Perhaps it was some facial expression he made or perhaps his silence, or perhaps this entire situation is just very awkward... whatever the case, she's looking away from him again.

She is just as uneasy as he is. He can see this more clearly now. His hands, both of them now, will cling tighter to hers still in his grasp. Listening intently when she does speak again.

"I see." Those words are more to fill the silence than anything. A yes I heard you and I'm acknowledging that, but also, no he doesn't see, and that's perhaps the entire point.

"You don't know where to start..." Neither does he... Nothing about this meeting is the sort of reuniting he had imagined in his head many times over. "I don't..." His gaze grows uneasy again.

"I don't either..."

But he wants to try.

It’s minute, but a quiet shaken breath leaves her from him squeezing her fingers. Warm. Present. An I don’t want to let you go as much as an I’m scared too — perhaps it really is better that she continue making attempts than allow this to fester in silence more than it already had in the last eight years.

Maybe, she should try to be selfish and fight for this, too.

Stepping closer, watching him for further unease, Lilith approaches Lucifer, leaning in and allowing her hair to provide something of a curtain. He’s so small, and while she wouldn’t let on to spare offense, there’s a fragility here that worries her now as much as it alarmed her back then. However, Lucifer was out here, there was a definite change to the status quo than from when she had left. He’s stronger than he appears.

She offers him a warmer smile, and makes to move her hand to his cheek, watching to see if he might shy away or accept her cupping the rosey spot.

“I missed you. Every day. All this time, I missed you. And all the things I wanted to say or thought I should say… When I saw you there, they all left me, and I was clumsy… I don’t… I don’t want to push you away more or pretend nothing changed, so I’m left… uncertain. Save for one thing, and that’s how much I still love you and know that I’ve hurt you, deeply, with being gone.”

And even now, she has not yet apologized. It would be disingenuous to say she fully regretted her decision — but if she did admit it was a mistake, if she did admit to herself how her vain attempts made things worse longer before they ever got better thanks to the efforts of the ones she left in the dark…

How could she live with herself? How could she find her way back out from the woods she’s grow lost in? The last thing Lilith wanted was to drag Lucifer, or Charlie, into this mire of consequences. This was something she needed to sort out before it came back to bite them too from proximity.

“I’m… home, if you will still have me.”

"Good! Glad ya understand!" She seems perfectly content now that he agreed.

As he showered, Lua takes the time to change into her comfy sleepwear, a t-shirt with a moon pun and some baggy shorts, before getting started on the nest. Although he probably meant it as a joke, something about being completely concealed with soft things feels so cozy. Maybe it's the rabbit part of her brain telling her to burrow, who knows?

By the time he's out and ready to sleep, his bed has been transformed into a large blanket fort with a couple of stuffed animals posted at the entrance and the rest inside lining the walls. Faint rustling can be heard within the makeshift burrow as she fussed over where to put the pillows.

Lucifer squints, definitely feeling as if he had been outmanuveared in some fashion but remained unable to place a finger on why that was. Too tired to think it over length. Instead, it’s much easier to simply do as directed and take a much needed shower to get all the scuz off.

The hot water and steam make the sleepy king somewhat light-headed, nearly drifting off standing up now that some of the fight was taken out of him upon agreeing. Subconsciously, he already knew this would end with him passed out and snuggled under the covers, even if his pride wouldn’t allow him to admit it even to himself. Sluggish the whole time, his blond hair (in desperate need of a redye with his roots showing) and body are scrubbed squeaky clean — the bathroom emits steam and fruity-berry scents when Lucifer finally emerges.

It feels like he’s shed the weight of years off his life. Why had it been so hard to do this himself earlier without an outside motivator?

Lucifer’s only wearing his usual bloomers when he shuffles inside the burrow to rejoin Lua amidst her one bunny mission to fluff up the nest. Bare chested, save for the colorful bandaids newly applied over his still-healing wounds, the blue lightning scars spidering out from underneath. He’s… actually pretty impressed by the scope of it. The canopy, blankets, and a rogue bathrobe tie being used to her advantage to make a truly cozy space along with the extra blankets and pillows he had spawn in earlier. Dare he say it, the fort was inviting.

Crawling in the rest of the way, the devil melodramatically slumps into the mattress where Lua crouched on her hands and knees, hardly caring as a couple pillows toppled over on him. Sabai, sabai.

“You should enter a contest,” Lucifer mumbles, words semi-muffled from the pillow over his face. “I’d vote for you.”

Alastor almost faltered, whipping his head around with surprise enough to read it on his smiling face. He had asked for stakes, and the fallen angel delivered. Normally, he would never begin to seek any kind of gratification, but he would have never thought of something like the fallen angel suggested. It must be what they meant by a little spice to the bedroom.

Leave it to Lucifer - he never failed to make it interesting, and he liked that about him.

"Yes," he answered, the response coming quickly after he cleared his throat to recover. "That's quite an irresistible offer, Lu." He let the nickname slip. "I accept. I'd like to test my limit as well." If he had any.

“Then, what are you wanting for? Surely you don’t intend to make me stand, or rather sit, on ceremony, do you?” Purred, a more rumbled quality deepening his tone. It’s at this moment that some of Lucifer’s more serpentine features shine through in that unblinking stare with the slitted red pupils. The devil beckons him over with a couple of fingers.

“Do you require help undressing, or will you make a show of it for me? Choose.”

There wasn’t a wrong answer, per se, as Lucifer wanted to give the other man some agency in this, but each choice would come with a bit of heckling in hand. Something to make Alastor want to misbehave. Something they could add to their little game of wills before he laid hands on that fluffy bum.

Alastor had never met anyone in his lifetime that clocked him the way that Lucifer tended to do. Through the teasing, the angel was able to rile him enough to where he fell for it hook, line, and sinker. It was like trying to pry information out of a bear trap. But Lucifer could do it. Lucifer was exceptional at it. Especially when it came to intimacy. And he found that he tolerated liked Lucifer's attention and affectionate ways. What he liked about him the most, and he could admit this to himself even, was that besides the teasing, he made sure he was receptive. Safe.

"Could we? Erm, I....think I would like that," after some hesitation, adding the second part quickly to not seem so eager. His face flushed, what a silly discussion. A quick study, hmph. "I think I would like that a lot, actually. I always....look forward to spending time with you, even if I'm awkward or mean about it. And I'm feeling up to exploring, if you are." Which was a rarity, indeed.

Lucifer emits a chuckle, smirking lopsidedly as he reaches out a hand to offer it, palm up. Ever the showman, he had every intention of bringing Alastor into a dance before whisking him away. A little bit of romanticism, a little bit of teasing to go with this rampant flirting. It makes Alastor a teensy bit more honest, letting bottled up emotion slip out through the crack in outbursts or mumbled confessions. Depending on how brazen the devil was being about it.

“Good! It would be a tad humbling to hear otherwise that you only tolerate my bids for company at the best of times. You’re one of the better parts of my stay here next to Charlie. I still might not be much one for sinners, but you’ve forced me to see you for yourself. Consider it one of the highest accomplishments!”

The smirk eases into something a little embarrassed. More heartfelt. Lucifer’s gaze dances away to scan the room and his free hand absently reaches up behind his head to scratch at the nape of his neck. He didn’t want anyone else to hear something so private. Not just yet. “You might actually be the closest friend I have right now. Someone special, Bambs.”

He couldn't believe he was having this discussion now. It was difficult to hide the scarlet his face went at the questioning. But unfortunately, or maybe fortunately since it was probably a conversation about something more intimate that they should be having, since the topic arose now he was forced to talk about. It was very enticing in the now, however. And his face probably said it all.

"It's.....both," after some hesitation. "I don't really.... feel anything normally, I lack the empathy or drive, so....I don't know. It's just something I can feel. Gratifying, I suppose. I'm probably not making sense."

Like a shark scenting blood, Lucifer’s already edging closer, sprawling across the couch not too dissimilarly to a french girl being painted: suggestive.

“I think you’re making plenty of sense, Bambino. That’s how I feel with intense pain or pleasure; it’s grounding and drowns all else out.” To the best of his explanation for why he persued situations that resulted in it. He could understand, on some level, even if his own emotional intellience made it far easier for him to pick out what another person might be feeling and why.

His tail brushed up against Alastor’s side. “Tell me more what you like and want from me. Things you’re curious about. Do you think about me kissing you? Biting you? Digging in my claws and cleaning your scratches clean? Tell me. Imagine it through with me. I want to make it all a reality.”

Lilith peered up at the flower stems and blooms billowing in the breeze. They stretched like trees reaching for the sun from her position. In her sleepy stupor, they might as well have already scraped the clouds for all she could register. She was woken by a cricket singing in her ear.

Judging by the stretch of the shadows, it must've already been some time past noon. Grunting, the monarch rose from the makeshift bed of weeds and tall grass blades and sat up, petals and twigs entangling in her blonde tresses.

She looked around, dazed by the buzz and chirps of cicadas and finches that harmonized with the breeze caressing patches of grass like an invisible hand. The new moon blessed her with a short and warm vacation this month.

Flying in on the breeze, large wings casting a large enough shadow to announce his presence joining her in the meadow, Lucifer alights further down, maybe two or three meters away, flashing Lilith a crooked smile, all cheeky mischief. A true surprise, considering his own limits in leaving Hell’s gate and typical reluctance to rely on such means. Seems he felt there was one summoning request made to him to be worth the trip and cost.

Sunlight illuminates expansive red wings, tall and proud, and casting them into an almost blood-orange hue. They’re left out to stretch as the devil ventures over to greet his fellow. “You wouldn’t mind a bit of company, would you? I felt a pull in the area and thought ‘why not’ to myself.”

Twigs are lightly plucked out of golden locks, dropped back into the vaguely-Lilith-shaped impression in the grass. “Have a good nap? I have a few hours to spend before I need to return.”
