My last post for the year is best represented by an image that I shot years ago. Around this time of the year I tend to do a lot of self-reflecting and I concentrate on setting my intentions for the upcoming year. It always revolves around letting go of my ego and being content on where I currently stand in life. 2020 was a hard and horrible year for everyone but with the bad, some good did come. I end this year with a strong sense of purpose and a happy outlook on life. I hope you do the same. My recommendation? Watch Disney Pixar’s ‘Soul’.

Ego Until I learned humility, I didn't even see how far out of balance my ego was. I didn't realize how self-centered I was. I lived in delusion thinking the world was against me when, in fact, it was me against me. I realized ego was a drug that I had to put down, as surely as any other, because it was killing me slowly day after day. When I put down my ego, I began to breathe easier, began to see the world in a whole new light. When I focused on what I could do for others instead of what I needed done for me, my world shifted. It became larger and I developed purpose. I went through some things in my teenage years that allowed me to see this work perfectly. I’ve learned to master it in my adult age.
