How I Started Reading⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here is my story.....⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is how I started my reading journey and how I developed my love for books. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ I grew up reading 'Tinkles' and various other Indian comics of the 80s and 90s, my reading was pretty much limited in that sense. I had no idea who the popular international children’s books authors were back then either.⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Around the time I was 14 or 15, I had huge mishaps involving my vocabulary. On one such occasion, I came home crying, totally embarrassed about not having understood an expression someone had used at a get-together. My older brother came up to me then and smirked saying that it was such a trivial matter to be crying about and introduced me to my first ever big book-As the Crow Flies by Jeffery Archer-and told me if I wanted to improve my vocabulary I must read as much as I can.⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thanks to my brother, that was the beginning of my love for books and reading. It changed my life and expanded my thinking and perspective in so many ways الحمد لله. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ My choice of books evolved since, and now I am at a place where reading has a whole new meaning to me. I now have a mini library of sorts with some of the best collections out there الحمد لله. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Why am I sharing this story?
