Team Phantom forms a Leverage style crew to utilize their specialized abilities to take down evil corporations to help the disenfranchised.

Eventually they turn their sights on Wayne Enterprises, because their vibes are just Rancid. Definitely hiding something. (No man capable of churning out SO MANY pieces of advanced tech and running so many vital charity organizations gets THAT drunk THAT often)

So they come up with a con and get themselves into Wayne Enterprises. It's easier than expected, but a heck of a lot more time consuming. (It almost feels like it was set up to be extra confusing and convoluted on purpose-another point point for 'can't be an air head')

They find a lot more than they bargained for.

Leia and Han connect over missions, blasters, and intentions for the new year, and end up surprising each other a little in the process. Takes place in the first year and a half ABY. Written for spinninginfinity / @yoyomarules for the 2021 @hanleiacelebration Holiday Exchange.

Chapter 9 - First Blood

They called her the Scavenger, for her ability to pluck jewels (sometimes literally) out of junkyards, scrap piles, and miniscule collections where the owners often didn’t know the true value of their items. There were a thousand and one rumors about her. She was trained by the greatest thief in the world. She studied under ninjas in Japan. She could rewire security systems with a wave of her hand. But most impressive of all was that she had never been caught. Kylo Ren was determined to change that. (A fun Thief!Rey AU, where Kylo Ren is trying to catch her, which means he needs to get close to her. And think about her. All the time. Apparently.)

Because I couldn’t sleep tonight, here’s another chapter of The Nakadia Job, my Leverage-inspired Rogue One AU. (I need a better graphic for this, don’t I? This doesn’t look Heist-y enough, and Kay’s not in it.)

Chapter 6: It’s a very distinctive style

“How does she do that?” Bodhi asked with some exasperation, because Jyn’s ability to go straight for the throat of a problem never failed to startle him.

Cassian’s mouth twitched into a small smile as he shrugged at his screen. “She’s good,” he said simply. Jyn hummed quietly, a soft sound that made Cassian’s mouth curve up more and made Bodhi fidget, feeling suddenly like a third wheel (or fifth wheel? Sixth? The whole team was on the comm, but Chirrut at least didn’t show any visible reaction, Baze and even Kay stayed quiet, so perhaps it was only him feeling awkward and intrusive as he listened to his friends flirt).

“We made it to the door,” Baze informed them, cutting into the moment.

“Looks like triple code Sandring tech on the lock,” Jyn said. “This is definitely the right place. It’s Imperial military grade, given out only to their favorite business partners. They put this stuff on the high-end prisons, too.” Like Wobani went unsaid, though from the silence on the comm, everyone heard it anyway.

“So that will, will take you, what, five minutes to crack?” Bodhi joked weakly, hovering his finger over the “send” button before dropping it back to his knee with a sigh.

“Please,” Jyn snorted. “Three.”

The Nakadia Job

In honor of the new year, I’m starting a new fic, because of course I am. In my defense, I already wrote about 12k of this, so I feel slightly justified in posting the first bit. Heavily styled after Leverage, wherein our Rogues are sent to overthrow a brutal dictator with an iron grip on all the system’s slavers, smugglers, various unsavory criminals, and worst of all, politicians.

Let’s go steal a planet.
