levi is a total gentleman at heart. regardless of his stoic and mean demeanor, he is really respectful towards women. (go ahead and ignore what happened with historia and him in the manga for me real quick :p)
even if its in small ways, i think he does show more respect to women then men. like he'd never hit a girl (unless they were his enemy he had to fight of course) and even then, he wouldn't like it. he has more class to him. he'd move out of the way in a crowded space, letting them go first, defending them when someone gets too touchy or disturbing, opening doors for them, pulling a chair out for them to sit..
weather they're just a cadet or a female in his life, he'd be a lot more gentle with them than he is with men.
he hates seeing women get disrespected, maybe it's because he grew up seeing it happen to his mother, so he definitely wouldn't let that happen to other females in his life. if he saw a man being disrespectful, he'd get in between the two, blocking the man's vision from her.
"thats no way to speak to a lady, now is it?"
it's just apart of his morals, he takes on his duty's very seriously, as a soldier and as a man.
the reason why levi ackerman is such candy for the average femdom enjoyer is because he radiates “local switchy service sub caves devastatingly because dom mommy did as much as wave at him” energy without trash vibes like yes he folds for her but he folds her clothes too. it doesn’t help that levi is giving spiralling breast over butt preference not just due to his extreme petiteness putting him level with most people’s chest areas 24/7 morphing into a fixation his subconscious takes for granted but also because ass [gender neutral] equals “tch, dirt and bacteria ejection blast... human existence is a miserable drudge” yet boobs = comforting and pristine which fascinates him. levi is just the type of sub who fantasizes about bouncing soapy boobs like a tumblr bi and he wakes up perched at mommy’s chest and that would be the sexiest cutest warmest most wholesome thing. meanwhile his haircut screams pull and drag me master/mistress i can handle it LMAO
“you’re actually not funny, did you know that?” levi side eyes you, expression looking completely unimpressed and borderline apathetic. his hands tell a different story, reaching over for your cheek, waiting to be able to bring you in for a kiss.
“levi, don’t lie. its not good for you,” you counter, hovering over his lips before he’s able to kiss you, though its clear as day that levi’s starting to get impatient.
“yeah sure whatever you say,” levi rolls his eyes, “i guess you’ll just have to take care of me if it makes me sick or some shit,”
“no thanks, that sounds like so much work. ugh but i mean, i guess i have to because i love you and you’ll die without me,” you groan teasingly, relenting and finally kissing levi, who now looks even more unimpressed.
“i guess so,” he mutters under his breath, pulling his hand away from you and returning it to the gear shift and then the wheel as he begins driving, “fucking sue me for loving and wanting to be with my partner i guess,”
“your choice of words is pleasant and polite as always,” you comment, resting your elbow on the center console as you gaze at him through your eyelashes, amused smile tugging at your lips.
“oi,”
“don’t worry, i love you and always want to be with you too, levi,” you sing, your smile morphing into a more genuine, loving one. levi glances over momentarily, and silently curses to himself, wishing he could stop the car and just stare at you and your current saccharine sweet expression for hours and hours, or at least take a photo.
“i didn’t say i always wanted to be with you,” levi looks away, failing to hide the warm tips of his ears that burn red, “just said i wanted to be with you,”
“you know you meant always,” you tease again, eyes lighting up when levi moves hand moves from the wheel and holds it out for you to take, which you happily do, “and case in point”
“shut up,” he mutters, his thumb gently rubbing the side of your interlaced hand.
“if i feel like it,” you hum in return, leaning back into your seat as you let your intertwined fingers rest against the center console.
“you look beautiful by the way,” levi states, eyes still focused on the road, “you always do yeah, but that color looks good on you. makes your eyes look bright ‘n shit even though its fucking dark out,”
the car at the red light and he turns to face you, a subtle smirk playing at his lips when he sees how speechless you are. its a plain curse how perfectly timed his compliment was, giving him enough time to bask in your momentary shock and for you to unfortunately provide him with the exact desired reaction.
“shut up,” is all you can muster, before you collect yourself and suddenly feeling weirdly shy, “you look good too. i like seeing in dark button downs,”
“like you said, i’ll shut up if i feel like it,” levi teases, tapping your knuckle with one of his interlaced fingers and his smirk growing wider.
“you know what, i think you’re actually the worst,”
I have not been able to get soft Levi loving you freshly showered out of my head, so here you go.
You were fresh out of the shower, exfoliated, lotioned and in your favorite matching pj set. You had been in Hanges lab with them working on a personal project and you had been sweating profusely. Knowing that Levi was very particular about hygiene and the cleanliness of your shared room, when you walked through the door and you bypassed him completely where he sat at his desk in front of the window, focused solely on paperwork that you assumed Erwin needed stat. He didn’t look up as you rifled through your side of the drawers looking for your coziest set.
“ you smell.” Levi deadpans, not looking up from the paperwork.
You smiled as you grabbed the set you were looking for, and closing the drawers, turning to face him.
“Hi, Levi. I missed you as well.”
The sweetness and affection in your voice made him side eye you. He still wasn’t used to someone being so kind to him.
You crossed the room, placing a gentle kiss atop his black mop. His fingers paused for a moment but continued signing the paperwork like it hadn’t affected him.
Neither of you said anything else as you made your way to the bathroom and did some self care.
30 minutes later you were walking out of the bathroom with the towel to your hair, drying it and Levi was exactly where you left him; at his desk doing paperwork
Craving the feeling of him, you tossed the towel in the hamper and padded crossed the floor, bare feet quiet on the wood.
You stood next to him like a child waiting for attention.
“ something you need?”
You stepped closer, placing your hand on his shoulder signaling him to scoot his chair back.
With an exasperated sigh he slid back, and you happily took your spot on his lap, straddling him and leaning down to rest your head in the crook of his neck.
You guys went on like that for a few minutes, enjoying each others presence in the quiet evening. Moments like these made life worth living.
You felt a subtle movement across your head, as if Levi was running his nose across your head. You smiled again, knowing exactly what he was doing.
He tapped your ass, signaling you to look up at him.
Your lips were inches from each other as you waited for him to make the first move. You often waited for him to initiate so he wouldn’t feel overwhelmed.
Suddenly his rough lips were on yours, moving against your soft ones as one had rubbed down your back and the other ran through your wet hair.
“Mmf” you mumbled into the kiss, pulling him further into your body.
Breaking the kiss he leaned forward, skating his nose up your collar bone and up over your neck to the shell of your ear.
“ you smell much better.”
His face still held the impassive look but his eyes had a softness to them that were reserved only for you.
Humanities strongest soldiers weakness was how soft you were and how good you smell.
Imagine the first time Levi tells the kids that he's proud of them.
It'd be months after the war ended. Despite him retiring, the 104th kids still loved him and respected him, so he never had to be alone. There would always be someone popping by his house. Armin coming by for advice. Connie dropping by with his favourite tea. Jean visiting to rant to him about all the extra work he has to do now that he was a higher rank and a peace ambassador. Mikasa doesn't show up though, she never does.
Levi, as he is, acts indifferent to the kids and their unconditional affection for him, often acting annoyed when they show up. Even though he appreciates it greatly. And the kids know that too, so their previous Captain's unenthusiastic greetings never bothers them.
Mikasa is the only one Levi attempts to keep in contact with. He sends her letters once a month, asking how she is. She doesn't respond, but that doesn't make him stop, just as the brats don't either.
As the lot of them bicker and banter and argue, Levi watches quietly, sipping on his drink. He had been silent, as he usually is, not speaking a single word throughout the night except to order his drink and answer Armin's small talk. Connie and Jean are unbelievably noisy, both arguing over something intensely as Armin kept trying to calm them down. Usually, they'd try to be quieter in Levi's presence. They wouldn't admit it, but they were still lowkey afraid of the cold man. But tonight, they had enough to drink, and they were rowdy as fuck.
One night, they invite him to a drink. And Levi, reluctantly, shows up.
It was loud, louder than Levi would ever tolerate usually either, but he had enough to drink as well and so surprisingly it doesn't bother him as much as it would have. Instead of telling them to shut up, he listens to them absentmindedly.
"So ask Captain!" Connie says loudly, "he'd agree with me! Right, captain Levi?" He turns to look at him hopefully. Levi was not listening at all. He doesn't even know what he's asking about. He stares at Connie blankly as Jean retaliates.
"..you guys.." Armin tries weekly, though his voice is meek and barely audible under the loud voices. He glanced at Levi warily, as if scared the captain was going to lose his temper.
"You dumbass!" He barks, slamming a glass down. "No one's going to agree with your stupid plan. You're gonna set a freaking world war again!" Connie, pissed by his interruption, jumps back to yelling at Jean again.
But Levi wasn't angry. He was only mildly surprised.
He put his glass down, it touched the table with a soft clank. He frowned at the arguing duo, like he's only just noticed something strange.
"Hey, you lot..." He spoke quietly.
On cue, the bickering stopped. Both Jean and Connie shut their mouth and snapped their heads toward him, suddenly scared that they had crossed the line. But Levi only looked at them, still with that strange look.
"Why do you still call me captain anyways," He asks, a frown on his face as he watches them with a quiet wonder, "I haven't been that for a long time." He hasn't. In fact, every other person in this table ranked higher than him.
Jean was the first one to recover. "Sorry, cap" He grins, casually leaning back on his chair with his arms folded behind his head, a glint in his eyes. "Once a captain, always a captain."
At this, the others fell silent. This was not the question they had expected him to ask. They glanced at each other uncomfortably, trying to figure out what to say.
Once a captain, always a captain, huh?
Connie and Armin muttered out soft noises of agreement. Levi stared at them for a second, his mouth slightly parted. He blinked, comsidering their words, thinking.
Even with a fucked leg and one less eye?
He sighed. Then looked at Connie and asked, "What were you asking about?"
Connie, unable to believe his luck, stuttered for a few seconds. Then he rushed to elaborate his previous question, excitedly explaining the point he'd referred to about the negotiation deal he'd suggested for the peace alliance between Marley and Paradis. And to no surprise, as Jean had said, it was horrible.
"Absolutely not," Levi started shaking his head before Connie could even finish, scowling disapprovingly. He glared at him in disbelief. How the hell did this kid even become a peace negotiator? "Jean's right. Are you trying to start a global war again?"
Jean was gleeful. Not only had the captain directly acknowledged him, but also agreed with him. He shot a shit-eating grin at Connie who sulked. It'd been a long time since he last got scowled by captain.
Meanwhile, Armin took the chance. It was so rare for Levi to ever join in conversations, he wanted to make the most of it. He leaned forward, his blue eyes gleaming. "What do you think about it anyways, captain Levi?" He asked eagerly. "About the peace alliance?"
Levi stared at him for a few seconds, watching the blonde boy's face light up with an almost childlike excitement as he waited for his response. For his approval. Validation. Agreement.
How strange.
He thought he had lost everything when Hange and Erwin died, when the war was over, when he could no longer even stand up without a wheelchair and had to retire. He had spent days, wondering what was it, that he was still living for, what was the point of all of it? Nobody needed him anymore. Who was he if not humanity's strongest?
Suddenly, that's when it hit him.
How important he was to these boys.
But he was here now, with a bunch of annoying brats who don't care that he's old and crippled, who respected him just as they had at the very beginning. They have come so far now, he thinks, further than he ever did. Then he ever could. They have changed the world.
It was a strange feeling, a feeling he had felt many times, though never as strongly as he did then. He felt pride. He was proud of them. Of each of them. Proud that they were his boys. Annoying fucking brats, but his boys nevertheless.
Armin was the commander, while he was nothing. But he still wanted acknowledgment from a man who cannot even walk on his own.
He smiled. Just barely. When had they grown so much?
"You've done well," He tells him, his voice gentle, uncharacteristically so. He looked at the others, "You two as well," He tells Connie and Jean, who gapes, staring at him with wide, shocked eyes.
He leaned forward, reaching out to put a hand over Armin's head. Without a word, he ruffled his soft blonde hair fondly and Armin stilled, impossibly rigid, and so do the others, their breaths halting in their chest as they watched the interaction. Armins soft, surprised blue eyes met Levi's softer gray ones.
"I'm proud of you." He said, holding each their gaze with a quiet intensity. "All of you."
His heart felt heavy. But he needed to say it. He needed them to know.
"Thank you," He nodded.
Then, he stood up. From the side of the table, he grabbed his crutch. He limped off, leaving the boys, still dazed and shocked.
The boys watched him confusedly, but no one stops him. They're too baffled to even speak, let alone move. Levi exits the room, and just as he does, he heard them break into murmers.
"What the fuck?" Jean was saying, struggling to get out the words, he still sat frozen, like even a blink and this moment would break."What the fuck?"
"Is his drink spiked?" Connie asks, grabbing the glass Levi had been drinking from, peering closely at the content.
"...huh?" He mumbles, his gaze unfocused.
Meanwhile, Armin sat quietly. He hadn't moved an inch. He sat in his seat completely still, still struggling to process what just happened. Jean and Connie nudged him warily, to which he stirred slightly.
"You lucky bastard," Jean groans annoyedly. "Why did it have to be you?"
"Why does it always have to be you?" Connie slumped over the table, letting out a deep sigh. His head landed on the table with a bonk. "Life is so fucking unfair,"
There was a tight knot in his chest. He could almost see the others. Was he dreaming? Eren would be there, with his stupid temper. Eren, childish and innocent, with eyes that held all the rage in the world. He would say something aggressively to Jean and Mikasa would try to calm him down. Mikasa's hair was short again. He hadn't seen Mikasa in years. But he remembers her face. Eren would ignore her. He could almost picture Sasha gobbling down something greedily, completely unaware of the conversations going on the table. Historia would be there as well, sitting in a corner by herself, watching them with wide, curious eyes.
Levi watches. He doesn't leave. He can't bring himself to leave. He leans on the doorstep, just out of view, but he's there. He listens as Connie says something again and Jean bursts into a mocking laughter, Armin still stuttering over his words, trying to protest something. He could see them from here, just a glimpse, but it's enough to make him stay.
He sucked in a deep breath. It was loud enough for Armin to hear him. He turns around, his eyes finding Levi's.
But there were others too. His breath caught in a hitch in his throat, his knees lending all their weight on his crutches, unable to hold his weight on their own. Hange's laugh rang in his ear, loud and rowdy, like she was just by that door, a hand out of reach. He saw Hange in there. They're totally drunk and giggling uncontrollably as Moblit tries to take the bottle away from them. Erwin watched them with amusement while Mike looks unamused, Nanaba was laughing her head off. They're younger here, unscathed. Hange has their eyes and Erwin has his arm, it rested against the table.
They looked happy. Less tired, like they had no worries at all anymore. A scene from a life he had lost so long ago.
But when their eyes locked, he couldn't see Armin anymore. There was Erwin instead.
Summary: the paranoia of not knowing where or what happened to Levi.

.
Levi had promised to be back at a specific time, he promised you to not worry about what he had planned for Zeke. He told you to stay put where you were and to stick with the others.
You huffed out a breath as you watched him walk out into the distance before fully disappearing, your mind going off to different places and worrying about whether this would be the last time you’ll see him again.
You tried to get rid of the thought, knowing how capable he was of taking care of himself and always coming back home to you but there was always that lingering thought inside of your head waiting to pop and ruin the rest of your days as you wait for him to return.
You stayed with Armin and Mikasa, the importance of sticking together was evident against what was currently happening here which was the rumbling and the yeagerist.
But as days started to pass and you haven’t seen or heard any sign of Levi, you heart began to pound inside of your chest repeatedly the more time has gone by but you stayed put and followed through with the mission of escaping with everyone out of the walls and away from the brainwashed citizens.
As you sat in the back of the cart, Annie across from you, you finally released the breath you were holding in during the whole escape plan. She looked at you confused but with understanding how you can get, she’s known since joining the scouts and working with you.
You remained quiet as they talked with each other the ride out while your eyes were glued to the sky, the ache in your heart only growing more as you wondered what he could be doing at this very moment.
You didn’t know things went wrong with Zeke, you didn’t know he risked to blow himself up to kill Levi and you didn’t know just how injured he was. You knew nothing and that’s what worried you, every mission he went on worried you to death until you saw his face.
“We’ll be running into Hange soon.” Armin spoke up, causing a sigh to escape your lips and your eyes remained on the sky with your hands rested on your chest.
You didn’t know the amount of damage that was going to come in a few minutes and you didn’t know just how bad things were going to get from here on out. You thought you had seen ugly but the closer you got, the more ugly things were going to get.
As the group gotten closer to where they were supposed to meet up, the giant cart Titan hovering over the scene with the others. You were exhausted from everything that had been going on, you haven’t even gotten a chance to eat, to sleep, to shower and it was slowly eating away at you.
“Is that the captain?” One of them spoke, making your head snap up even after being stuck in your thoughts.
Your eyes scattered around looking at the group that was ahead and finally your eyes settled to a body laid out with bandages wrapped around, covering most of his face and body.
Your breath hitched, almost tripping to get to your feet and jump off the cart once they came to a full stop. Hange eyes met with yours before your feet started rushing towards where he laid fast asleep.
“Y/N,” Hange started but you didn’t pay any attention until you were in front of him, staring at his face in horror.
Your shaky hands had reached out, not knowing what to do, where to touch without causing him pain even though he was well knocked out cold. A shaky breath released from your trembling lips, trying to hold your emotions in and trying to pull yourself together.
Finally your hand softly brushed his hair back, half of his face covered in bandages while the one exposed eye remained shut.
“What happened?” You simply said, your eyes moving down to his arm covered him and the blanket pulled over his limp body.
“Zeke blown himself up next to Levi, luckily I found him still alive but it was pretty bad.” Hange sadly spoke, the guilt in her tone from not being able to help him sooner.
“How bad.”
“Y/N..” She trailed off, even she didn’t know how bad it really was, only the parts shown when she wrapped him up.
“Missing fingers, pretty sure his eye is lost and… we won’t know the serious impact it caused him until he wakes up.” She murmured, not wanting to look you in the eye, the guilt washing over her.
“Oh god, Levi.” You barely said over a whisper, the tears slowly leaking from your eyes and down your cheeks. Your heart aching inside of your chest like it was about to explode out of your skin.
Hours had passed, everyone was now camped out in a safe area inside the woods, the fire sizzling and cracking, the tents around spread out. Mostly everyone was asleep or far from the campfire talking amongst themselves.
But you stayed in the tent, looking down at Levi and his current state, paranoid about the fact that he may or may not wake up.
So, you laid down beside him, enough distance to not cause any harm or pain. Your eyes were growing heavy and you felt the drag of slumber overcoming your body.
Suddenly there was a stir beside you, a grunt leaving Levi’s throat as the pain shot through him like lightning. He felt paralyzed, in pain, and out of it.
The movement had forced you to be wide awake, your eyes shooting open and glancing over at the body beside you. You could see Levi squirming and then his one eyes had opened up, shut, then opened slowly again to look around at his surroundings.
Then his eye landed on you.
“Levi?” You asked, the worry and fear overwhelming your body once again. The fear of him forgetting who you are lingered over you.
“Fuck.” He mumbled, the pain shooting through his body, making him realize just how fucked up this situation was.
He could feel the bandages wrapped around his body, he could feel his body ache and as he looked down just a bit, he could see that he was missing a few of his fingers.
“I’m going to kill him.” Levi spoke again, muttering under his breath as the rage of Zeke overcame his mindset, the reality settling in.
“We’ll get him just.. please rest.” You whisper, your fingertips gently brushing through his dirty and matted up hair.
“I was so worried.” You admitted under a whisper, the fear of losing him was choking you, making you slowly suffocate as your eyes watered.
He noticed this, his body growing soft as his eye stared into yours. Slowly, he raised one of his hands up to brush along your cheek, being extremely gentle while doing so because he couldn’t handle the pain.
“I’m here, it’s okay.”
“I could have lost you, Levi. What were you thinking?” Your heart weighed heavy in your chest, his started to weigh down on him too as he saw the pain written across your face.
“I’m sorry.” Was all he could really say, what else was there to say? He didnt mean for this to happen, all he wanted was Zeke to suffer.
“Just don’t scare me like that again.” You sighed, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to his forehead, his bruised face giving you a small smile.
“I promise.”
