Genre: Fluff

Author's note: I forgot to mention this when I first posted this, but this fic was actually inspired by a matchup @levi4thans did for me months ago. I had never really considered Levi as a romantic interest before then, but after that I couldn't stop thinking about him trying to comfort MC and I knew I needed to write something. I've been sitting on this little story since August and I really wanted to finally post it, so pardon the two part structure.
***
Your heart was heavy.
Was it burnout from exams? Were you missing your loved ones in the Human World? Were your insecurities mounting until they became unbearable? Or maybe it was a combination of the three.
You found yourself wandering the halls, your feet moving automatically. You weren't sure where you were going until you arrived at Levi’s door.
He was gaming, of course, you heard the electronic sounds of his game and the clicks of the d-pad under his rapidly moving fingers. Occasionally he’d exclaim something you couldn't quite make out through the door.
You didn't bother with the password you customarily rattled off every time you visited Levi’s room. You weren't sure you could even remember it with the state your mind was currently in.
Levi didn't notice you enter the room, he was too engrossed in the game.
You made your way to Henry’s fish tank and pressed your hands and forehead to the glass. Watching the little orange fish swim around was usually soothing to you. You hoped now it would calm your troubled heart.
Levi cursed as his avatar was killed by the boss. Stretching, he prepared to start again. “Good thing I saved back at the drawbridge, huh Hen–”
He jumped when he saw you standing there.
“I didn't even know you came in, MC,” he pressed a hand to his heart. You were staring at him, your usually bright eyes glassy. “Did you come to play Devilkart?”
You shook your head, closing your eyes and wrapping your arms around yourself.
He stood up from his gaming chair. “MC–”
You couldn’t keep it in anymore, the tears just started flowing.
He practically ran to your side, his hands hovering around your shoulders. His Player 2, his favorite human was broken. What was he supposed to do in this situation? “M-MC what do I–”
You closed the space between the two of you, burying your face in his chest. He hugged you back after a second, his heart rate elevating. He wasn't someone who was used to hugging other people, that was more Belphie’s or Asmo’s domain. Either of them would have been better for this situation. Yet you’d chosen him, you’d gone to his room.
Taking a deep breath, he squeezed you tighter. You needed the clear-headed action of Grand Admiral Leviathan right now, not the panicked frenzy of Levi the yucky otaku.
Focus Levi, focus.
“Can we stay like this?” Your voice was muffled by his shirt.
Like a miracle the right words had tumbled out. “Yeah, we can stay like this for as long as you need.”
He sunk to the floor with you in his arms, guiding you to sit on his lap. Your body shook with sobs as you hugged him tight, tears soaking into his shoulder. You cried awful heaving sobs while Levi rubbed circles into your back.
“It’s going to be ok, MC.” he said quietly. He wasn't sure if his words would be comforting to you but he felt compelled to say something. It broke his heart to see you cry.
After a while your exhaustion caught up with you and you succumbed to sleep, your body going limp in his arms as you snored softly.
Levi sat there for a moment, one shoulder leaning up against the glass of Henry’s tank, still holding you. What was he supposed to do now?
He opened The Demon Brothers chat on his D.D.D. and started typing.
– Hlep!
Lucifer: Hlep? Is this some kind of new slang word?
Asmodeus: I think he just misspelled “help”.
Lucifer: Oh.
Satan: Is it one of your cursed games again, Levi?
Asmodeus: It better not affect the rest of us, I have plans later!
Lucifer: You really need to be more considerate of the household when choosing your games, Levi.
– Not a game. 3D world problem. Hlep pls!
Beelzebub: What’s wrong then?
How was he supposed to explain this quickly?
Mammon: ???
Belphegor: Must not be that big of a problem. Beel, wake me up if something interesting happens.
Beelzebub: Ok.
Levi opened the camera on his D.D.D. and took a selfie. His cheeks were dusted with pink as he looked over your shoulder, his eyes pleading. Only the back of your head was visible in the picture but the hair was unmistakably yours. He sent it.
Pounding feet sounded down the hall moments later, rapidly approaching. Levi’s bedroom door crashed open.
“Get your hands off a’ them, ya creep!” Mammon growled.
“Shhhh!” said Levi. “They’re sleeping. Help me get them into my bed.”
“Hell no, I ain't doin’ that.” Mammon hissed.
“Mammon, please. My legs are asleep and the bed is right there.”
“Fine.” Mammon lifted you easily from Levi’s arms. He paused, contemplating if he should just run away with you, before reluctantly slipping you into Levi’s bathtub bed.
Levi rubbed his legs to get the blood circulating so he could stand again.
“Well, well, what have we here?” Asmo leaned on the doorframe, his eyes lighting on his two older brothers standing over your sleeping form.
“Shhh!” both of them said.
Asmo sauntered into the room. He took in the scene with relish, imagining some sort of indecent scenario until he got a glimpse of your face.
“Wait, were they crying?” Asmo knelt by the side of the bathtub, looking at your puffy eyes and the tear tracks on your cheeks. “Why?”
Levi shrugged. “Stress maybe? One minute they were watching Henry swimming around, the next they were breaking down.” He could relate. The mind and body often didn't realize what it had been through until after the battle was over. Quiet could amplify the pain.
“So that’s why you were holdin’ them like that,” Mammon looked relieved. “Well now that we cleared that up, why don't we take them back to their own room?”
“I don’t think they wanted to be alone,” said Levi.
“Poor thing,” Asmo brushed your hair out of your face before tucking the blankets tighter around you.
“So what do we do?” Mammon asked. “They ain’t spendin’ the night alone with Levi, that’s for sure.”
Asmo smacked him on the arm. “We let them rest for as long as they need. Stress is like murder for the skin.” He got up and started toward the door.
“And where are you goin’?”
“I’m going to get some pajamas for MC and a few things from my room,” Asmo smirked over his shoulder. “We’re going to have a sleepover in here.”
Asmo was out the door before Levi or Mammon could protest, pushing past Lucifer and Beel who arrived next, with Satan and Belphie close behind them.
“What is going on in here?” Lucifer quirked an eyebrow.
“Is MC ok?” Beel asked when he saw you in Levi’s bed.
“They’re tired and stressed out,” Mammon said as if he had been the one who’d made the discovery. “Seems the RAD workload is a bit too much for a human.” He gave a pointed look towards Lucifer.
“I will have to speak to Diavolo about that then,” said Lucifer.
“Ha! When I complained about exams you basically told me to suck it up.”
“That was your own fault.”
Satan nodded, “As much as I hate to agree with Lucifer, you squandered your study time and therefore reaped the consequences of your actions,” He said, “MC and I studied every night up until exams while you went to the casino. Although I had no idea all that work was taking such a toll on them.”
Beel’s stomach growled loudly. He took a step back, ducking his head guiltily. “MC was in charge of dinner tonight but they need to rest so–”
“We’ll order takeout,” said Lucifer, pulling out his credit card. He handed it to Beel. “Order something MC likes and do not go overboard.”
Beel was practically drooling as he took the card. “Ok I won’t.”
Lucifer sighed, “On second thought maybe Satan should go with you.”
The fourth born acquiesced, he would follow Lucifer’s orders tonight for your sake.
The two left together, leaving the rest of the brothers to listen to their footsteps disappearing down the hall.
“So now what?” Belphie asked after a moment.
“We’re having a sleepover, apparently.” said Levi.

Y’ALL I ACTUALLY GOT BETA READERS. @jotatetsuken & @anxi-aashi beloveds

You were always a bright student. The top of your class, the favorite student for almost every teacher, the brightest star amongst your classmates. So why the fuck are you staring at a B- on your midterm paper? The letter was bright red and almost mocking you with the circle around it only amplifying it. Red pen littered the paper, with the smallest mistake being called out. The sound of the professor's voice pulled you from your shock.
"If you think I graded you unfairly, see me during my office hours. Even if I end up finding more mistakes, I'll only change your grade if you get a higher one." Your eyes were full of venom as you scowled at him. Professor Levi Ackerman was the current bane of your existence. He must make up for his lack of height in his abundance of audacity, you thought. To think you looked up to him, enough to come to this college to be under his tutelage. All of those expectations you had of him being a passionate and wonderful teacher and mentor were shattered the moment you got that B- back. It felt more like he was a bully, or even a tyrant, seeming to mess with his student’s grade to exert his power over them. You let out a silent scoff and gathered your papers as he immediately dismissed class. Going back to your dorm, your roommates could feel the frustration rolling off of you, a thick aura weighing down on anyone around you. This was your freshman year of college, and the college history course you took in high school was a breeze, so why were you struggling now? You vented out to Annie, one of your roommates, and she sighed.

The Sleepover
Part 2
Summary: RAD exams are rough, you go to
Levi's room for a little comfort.
Pairing: Leviathan × GN Reader/MC, demon
brothers
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: None.

As the brothers dispersed to make preparations for the sleepover, Levi went to his closet door and hesitated. Was this the right moment to give you his gift? With one cursory glance back at your sleeping form, he decided to do it. In the back of his closet, hidden behind his matching Ruri-Chan cosplays for the two of you was a pink sheep plush he’d sewn by hand. It had a little orange bow with a bell around its neck, his color, you'd said once. He hoped you would like it.
He’d planned on giving it to you on your birthday or one of the big Human World holidays you’d miss because of the RAD exchange program. But now was the right moment. He slowly slipped the plush toy under your arm, watching to make sure you wouldn't wake.
“Don’t worry, they won’t wake up for a while,” said Belphie. He’d already made himself at home on Levi’s beanbag chair and was currently stroking your hair over the side of the tub. “They’re dreaming.”
Of course, Belphie’s dream powers. He could trap anyone in a dream as long as he focused on them. Normally this would be a terrifying experience for the dreamer, but since Belphie loved you, as did all of the brothers, he would make it a good dream. One to chase your worries away.
Your face finally looked relaxed under Belphie’s spell. The lines of worry were smoothed out and the smallest of smiles graced your lips. Levi only wished he’d had such a useful power. He couldn’t exactly make it rain indoors or summon Lotan and expect that to comfort you.
But then again, you'd chosen to go to his room first. That had to count for something.
“What are they dreaming about?” Levi asked, his eyes not leaving your sleeping face.
Belphie smirked, “Wouldn’t you like to know, Water Boy.”
Levi rolled his eyes. He knew his youngest brother just loved keeping this little secret. He had to distract himself or he was going to end up getting overwhelmed with jealousy. He turned the tv on to your favorite anime series. It was a slice-of-life romantic comedy that you’d seen approximately a hundred times. It was a bit of a normie show for his taste but he knew it was your favorite.
Asmo held the door open for Lucifer and Mammon, who had returned from the attic, their arms full with blankets, pillows, and futons.
“Lean the futons against the wall,” said Lucifer. “We have to clear the floor first.”
Levi joined them, not wanting them to ruin his careful organization. He had a system.
Asmo skipped over to the bathtub, a basket of nail and skincare supplies in one hand, and your comfiest pajamas in the other.
“Keep them asleep for me, Belphie, so I can dress them in their cute jammies.” Asmo began unbuttoning your RAD jacket.
“Ain’t happening,” Mammon said, pulling back his arm to throw a volume of manga at Asmo. Lucifer grabbed it before he could.
“They can change when they wake up.” Lucifer said.
“Ugh fine,” Asmo pouted. After tossing the pajamas into Belphie’s lap, he slipped a bunny ear headband over your head to push your hair out of your face. He then pulled out a soft washcloth, holding it out to Levi who was kneeling on the floor nearby, scooping up some manga magazines. “Levi, if you will…?”
Levi produced a tiny rain cloud over the handkerchief, dampening it with cool, clean water.
“Thank you!” Asmo gently cleaned your face with the handkerchief. After he applied toner and a sheet mask, he got to work on your nails, choosing your favorite color in a shade perfect for your skintone.
Satan and Beel were the next to arrive. Satan had a small stack of dvds in his hands.
“22 meals are on their way from Hell’s Kitchen,” Beel said proudly.
“Beel, there’s only eight of us.” said Asmo.
“I know.”
“It was going to be 50 but I managed to talk him into ordering less. I thought the succubus working the cash register was going to cry when she heard how many orders we needed.” Satan set the dvds down on a side table. “I brought a few of MC’s favorite movies. I thought we could watch one of them together when they wake up.”
“I think I’m gonna make some popcorn for everyone, maybe some snacks too,” said Beel. “Does anyone need anything while I’m out?”
“Can you bring my weighted blanket from our room? The purple, lavender scented one.” Belphie asked. “And make sure you don’t eat all the snacks before you get here, ok Beel?”
“I won’t eat them if it’s for MC,” Beel resolved.
Satan joined his older brothers in clearing the floor. The four of them had all the manga and games reshelved in no time.
“Ya know, we should make a blanket fort like I hear they do in the Human World.” said Mammon.
“It is a popular sleepover tradition there,” Satan agreed.
Lucifer took an appraising glance around the room. “I don’t know how they do it in the Human World, but there’s enough space now to do a simple levitation spell to suspend the blankets, provided it’s ok with Levi.” He looked to the third born.
Levi shrugged. “As long as it doesn't disturb Henry or MC.”
“I think we can manage that.” said Lucifer, he began rolling up the rug on the floor. “Mammon, go gather a few more sheets and blankets. Satan, you’ll help me with the spell.”
As the sleepover preparations continued, Asmo finished with your nails and moved on to complete your skincare routine. He peeled the sheet mask off your face and, glancing around to see no one was looking, he gave you a quick kiss on the forehead.
Your eyes fluttered open.
“Oh, MC!” Asmo exclaimed, “You woke up after my kiss just like Sleeping Beauty! Does that mean I’m your handsome prince?”
“Nah, that just means Belphie fell asleep.” said Mammon kicking the door closed, his arms full of blankets.
Sure enough, Belphie was snoring, his hand still tangled in your hair, the dream spell he had put you under was broken.
You sat up and peered over the side of the tub.
“What’s all this for?”
Satan and Lucifer were actually working together, crawling on the floor with their sleeves rolled up, drawing a magic circle in chalk. Beel was coming through the door, a huge bowl of popcorn in his hands, his arms balancing a ton of snacks. You caught sight of your newly polished nails.
“We wanted to help you feel better,” said Levi.
You were speechless.
“Mammon, Levi, start spreading out the first blanket,” said Lucifer as the magic circle began to glow.
They were doing this all for you. You could feel the tears starting to flow again. You were so loved in this house.
“Try not to cry, dear,” said Asmo as he patted some night cream into your skin, “We don’t want you to become dehydrated.”
You let Asmo finish his ministrations and then you went to change into your pajamas in Levi’s closet. By the time you returned, the blanket fort was done, illuminated by some string lights Mammon found in the attic and Belphie’s mini star projector. The brothers had spread the futons out on the floor
One dinner, two movies in, and many snacks later, you found yourself in the center of a cuddle pile. Asmo and Mammon clung to either side of you while Beel and Belphie used your thighs as pillows. Somehow Lucifer had managed to grab hold of one of your hands, and Satan was curled up like a cat by your head. They were all asleep.
You extracted yourself from the cuddle pile without waking anyone up, you were going to grab yourself a drink of water when you noticed Levi was separated from the group. He was sitting on his beanbag, playing something on his portable game system.
You plopped down on the beanbag chair next to him, slipping your arm through his. You felt him stiffen a little but you didn't let go.
“How come you’re all the way up here?” you asked.
“Needed a little space.”
“Oh…” You started to move back, not wanting to bother him.
“No, that’s n-not what I m-m-meant. I didn't n-need sp-space from you,” Levi stammered. “Stay, please.”
“Ok,” You snuggled into him, laying your head on his shoulder. He hoped you couldn't hear how fast his heart was pounding.
The two of you sat in silence for a few minutes, just looking up the projected constellations. The room was silent except for his brothers’ gentle snoring.
You finally broke the silence, “Was this you?” You held up the sheep plushie.
“Yeah,” he said. “I made it myself.”
“I knew it!” You squeezed the plushie to your chest and Levi felt his heart clench. “Thank you. For everything.”
He turned to look at you, “I didn't really do anything. The sleepover was Asmo’s idea.”
“But you let us use your room, I know how much you value your privacy and how you dislike 'normie things’ like sleepovers.”
Levi could feel himself blushing. You noticing the smallest things about him affected him so deeply. “It’s ok once in a while.”
“And you did so much more for me than this,” you said, recalling how he’d held you when you cried. He didn't demand anything from you. He didn't try to come up with a solution right away. He just let you cry. He would never know how much you needed that. “Thank you so much.”
“I– it was nothing.”
“Not to me.”
You entwined your fingers with his and the two of you fell asleep on the beanbag chair together, still gazing at the stars.
