a/n - just a random concept that started to rattle around in my lil pea brain, mammon deserves love and support and that’s what this is.
So yeah concept, Mammon works an overnight shift for the first time and his brothers are being supportive (with a lil sprinkle of support from mc :D)
Lucifer is surprised to hear Mammon is going to be working overnight, especially considering his younger brother normally uses that time to get into all sorts of mischief. Lucifer finds himself waiting by his D.D.D all night, sending Mammon texts periodically through the night to make sure he’s doing okay.
Levi advises Mammon on the best energy drinks for pulling all-nighters and which ones to stay away from unless he wants to vibrate for the next three days. Levi also shoots Mammon a text after finishing a late night gaming session to see how his work is going.
Asmo and Satan somehow end up at Mammon’s work at like 4 in the morning because there was coincidentally a party in that area, weird right? And they also coincidentally have brought some snacks and water with them. Asmo is telling Mammon to drink the water so his skin doesn’t suffer. While Satan is all like I read in book somewhere that these snacks help will give you energy. (Which means Satan purposely picked them out for Mammon-)
Also if Mammon has a modelling job the next day, Asmo has an emergency kit waiting at home to make sure Mammon’s skin doesn’t breakout and stays hydrated.
Beel packed Mammon a little lunchbox to take with him to work so he doesn’t get hungry on the job. He worked so hard on it and to not eat it (there’s also a little not in there that says ‘good luck’), he also makes sure that he leaves enough food for Mammon when he gets back for breakfast in the morning.
When Mammon gets to breakfast the next morning he’s surprised that not only is there breakfast waiting for him, but a spot next mc as well. And when mc asks him how work went, and all of his brothers stop talking to listen he completely forgets how tired he is from work.
Belphie uses an opportunity when Lucifer is out of earshot to tell Mammon about some of his secret napping spots at RAD if he gets too tired. Which Belphie may or may not have made sure each spot had a pillow in case Mammon did decide to use them. Although even if Lucifer did spot Mammon sleeping he pretends he doesn’t, sending a text to mc to make sure they come wake up Mammon at the end of the day.
Mammon finds himself asking mc if they put his brothers up to this and when they shake their head, replying with: “no they’re just proud of you.” He suddenly feels very choked up, and he almost cracks when they add: “I am too.” He feels very appreciated.

Leviathan sits in the back of the classroom. You sit just behind him. The breeze blows in from the barely cracked classroom window. It's usually warm on the third floor, but the damn lizard sitting in front of you soaks up all the heat and chills the atmosphere like an A/C unit. It might be nice if it were summer, but it's not. RAD isn't in session during summer. It's surprisingly cold in the Devildom; though, in a place without sun, maybe it's not so surprising.
The breeze continues to flow without much variation. It's a gentle caress siding across your cheek and into the rest of the classroom. A few leaves manage to enter with its help. One lands in Leviathan's hair. It's a bright green against his sea of dark purple, almost like it's floating through what you would call toxic sludge (or Solomon's cooking).
Why can't this class be over already? it's cold. You're tired and couldn't care less about how students in the front seats pretend to marvel over an earthworm from the human world to gain brownie points with the monotonous professor who's lost all passion for his work eons ago. Levi keeps leaning back in his chair as he takes on the same boss in Mononoke Land for the millionth time. You swear he was on the same level last time you had this class too. There's still an hour left.
"Why can't this class be over already?"
"Shut up. You already said that two seconds ago."
You did? It appears you're paying less attention to the lecture than you thought.
"You shut up. Hope you get blasted by the one-shot cannon again."
"Stupid normie."
A sigh escapes you and ruffles his hair slightly. Levi twitches and hurriedly brings a hand up to fix his hair, knocking out the leaf before returning to his phone and... getting blasted by the one-shot cannon just as he did last class.
"Aaargh! Damn it! I almost had it this time! If it wasn't for you putting the stupid leaf in my hair and being such a nuisance all the time I would've cleared this mission already! This is so unfair! Why does a normie like you have to ruin everything?!"
"I didn't do it! The wind did!"
"Yeah! Uh-huh! Likely story! You always lie to cover your own ass!"
"Why do you always have to blame everything on me?! It's not my fault you suck at Mononoke Land! This is why you're my least favorite out of all your brothers!!"
At this point, it's another shouting match between you two. Given how regular of an occurrence they are, neither the professor nor most of the students pay the two of you any mind. It's just another day in the Devildom.
"I don't suck! You suck! I've had it with stupid normies like you! Every day I have to wake up and see your dumb face and deal with all my brothers 'ooohing' and 'ahhing' at their stupid novelty-toy pet-human! I liked things better when they all thought about things besides you and we all had real personalities and lives that weren't centered around catering to your every want and need!"
"My every 'want and need'?! Do you ever hear yourself or have your headphones at max volume finally blown out your eardrums?! How many times has everyone gotten trapped into a video game because of you?!
"Would you just shut up already?! Diavolo asks for less than you do! It's like living with a tyrant! Day in and day out it's "Beel, can you grab me something from Madame Screams?', 'Lucifer! Can you reach this shelf for me?', 'Asmo I need a good exfoliating bath!', 'Belphie let me borrow your pillow!' and it never ends! You make a million requests a day and we're forced to comply no matter what because no one can say a word to you and risk invoking Lucifer's wrath for threatening Diavolo's precious exchange program!"
One classmate brings out her phone and begins recording as Levi's face gets redder and redder. Black smoke and the smell of sulfur fill the room. Horns take root and twist towards the sky. A tail begins lashing, knocking over desks and tables obstructing its path. Diamond scales glisten as a chest expands and contracts, further filling with rage with each breath. His anger's boiling to a dangerous level, but the two of you are too blinded by rage to notice. This is no longer another day in the Devildom. Some students are beginning to tremble. Others look on in fear and begin putting their DDDs into plastic bags. They know what's coming next. The smart ones are leaving the classroom and fleeing for the fourth and fifth floors.
"Those aren't even demands! Your brothers aren't my servants! They're my friends which is something I doubt anyone could ever call you at this rate considering how much of an ass you are!"
"O fiend of Water, Creature of Jealousy..."
"It's seriously beyond me how Henry 2.0 hasn't found a drain and set off for the ocean yet to leave you to rot in your room alone yet! I honestly pity that poor fish for having to put up with you every day!"
"In the name of Leviathan, I command you..."
"The only reason anyone puts up with you is because if they don't you'll summon Lotan and flood the place to force your way like a spoiled brat!"
"Come forth, Lotan!!"
The ground rumbles and the walls seem to roar. The ceiling cracks and the lights flicker before fizzling out completely. Ink bottles throw themselves off the desks of their respective owners as the rumbling turns into shaking and then into violent jolts. Screams can be heard down the hall from both ends along with rushing water, rough and merciless towards all in its path.
The roaring reaches the doorway, then those around you, then your feet. Air and gravity disappear entirely as the contents of the classroom, professor and students included, are forced through the windows and into the courtyard, turning rosebeds and beautiful trees into a mess of mud, diluted potions, ink, and torn paper. Several animals and students from the magical potions lab are unconscious, yet alive, while their aquatic acquaintances are nowhere to be found. There are screams and cries of "I just finished that project!" surrounding the small-scale disaster. Several professors come running along with the remaining members of the student council and the other exchange students, ready to provide aid to the injured and determine the source of the calamity.
The remaining six brothers are able to tell what happened instantly. Lucifer wastes no time in unfurling his wings and bellowing out Leviathan's name. The third-born shakes in fear, realizing just what he's done, and begins stammering that it wasn't his fault, that he had no choice, that the normie made him do it. If Levi could choose between Falling a second time or facing Lucifer's wrath, he'd lose the Celestial War all over again.
You're too disoriented to put up any argument. For a second Lucifer glances your way to make sure you're alright before turning his complete attention back to his younger brother.
"My Study. Both of you. Now." A growl punctuates the statement along with inflection dripping venom.
Current Goal: Survive.

Lmao I wrote this in an hour while listening to the fnaf: sb daycare theme on repeat. This fic was supposed to just be a drabble but I guess it's gonna end up as a whole fic bc we're already this far along and I have a bit more planned for the future .n. If I had to guess, I'd say it'll roughly be 3-4 parts long. I'm not 100% sure though.
Hi may i ask for a matchup? I'm kinda energetic but im very much an introvert. I'm not good at social interactions but I like performing. I really like anime and video games and books, especially fantasy and horror stuff. But I love dressing up cute and fancy like. I have a passion for drawing and dancing and singing. I'm kinda prone to depressive episodes and I have low self-esteem but I'm working on being more confident in myself and seeing myself in a less harsh light! (1/2) ♡
I love animals, (especially cats) but im scared of insects. I tend to get distracted a lot and I have to keep a timer on the things i need to do so I dont end up playing an 10 hour long entire game. But like learning. I think always learning new things is what makes one smart and I want to learn new languages. My ideal partner is someone who can be my bestfriend as well as my s/o. Here is why:
Both of you have trouble with social interactions so I think that would be a good start when it comes to understanding the other. It will probably slow things down a bit, but it’s always worth the wait!
The fact that you are introverted implies that you probably won’t drag him out of his room often and you also value some independent alone time, just like he does. So it’s not a conflict when you don’t want to do the same thing as him all the time or being in the same room for too long. Nothing like having some time to refresh!
With him you will definitely preform or act something out a lot! Think about all the times you could act out a scene from an anime! Later you mention that you also do dressups and he also does cosplay - althoughh he is very very shy about it. It might take some time for him to open up about that to you, but when he sees that you are so supportive / you so the same he will feel so stupid for not telling you sooner!!
The two of you could probably dance along to some kpop or dances from his or your favourite anime! (in case that has any, but I think his does so)
He also has very low self-esetem so he understands where you are coming from. I think the two of you could help the other with that, like when someone says something bad about themselves the other would correct it right away, giving an evidence about why that is not true at all.
I think that way both of you could gain some down the road. Or even if that’s not much of a help, at least you know you can always count on the other and have their support.
Hmmmm I’m not sure if cats and Henry are a good combination..... in case you have a cat you’d have to be very careful about that
If someone out of the brothers, then he definitely knows what it’s like to get lost in a game or series, so you could definitely ask for some pro-tips from him!
Hm I’m not sure about him and learning languages besides Japanese, but if you learn that he will definitely join you and practice it with you!
He is a demon you could be best friends with, dancing or singling along to songs the two of you likes/knows, gaming all night, ressing up with, etc! And let’s not forget the emotional connection you two have going on, as that is something very important in any kind of relationship! Because of social anxiety you have to make the first move on him somehow when you want to label yourselves as a couple instead of best friends. It might take some time to convince him about that but if you don’t rush it I’m sure he is going to appreciate it very much!
