Arven x Female Reader: Damned Diglett

You broke your leg all because of a Diglett. Mild swearing contained.

You were venturing through Dalizapa Passage after just leaving Glaseado Mountain. You had just got done adding some Ice-type Pokémon to your Pokédex and were gonna head to Medali, when, as you were walking along a steep trail within the passage, a Diglett pops up under your foot. You tripped, stumbled and fell just 8 feet below. You landed on your right foot, but it wiped out. That’s where you heard a loud snap.

“Ow, fuck!!” you yelped in pain. You had just broken your leg. You tried to move it, but the pain was so strong, it made you dizzy. You looked at your leg to see it was twisted the wrong way. The sight of it made you feel sick. You wish your Miraidon hadn’t been sick and would have let you ride it through Dalizapa Passage safely. Struggling, you pull out your Rotom Phone. “R-Rotom,” you groaned in pain, “call the…nearest m-medical…center” “Okay,” Rotom said, “calling Levincia Hospital. One moment.” In a quick moment, the call was picked up on the other end.

“Levincia Hospital! What’s the emergency?” a woman over the phone asked. “Uh, hello,” you groaned, “I’m stuck in Dalizapa Passage. I fell off a trail and broke my leg, thanks to a Diglett tripping me.” “Have you tried moving it or standing?” the woman asked. “I only tried to move it, but…” you were getting very dizzy, trying to finish your sentence, “it’s…agh…unbearable.” “Hang on, miss,” the woman said, “we will send a Kilowattrel ambulance your way. Don’t move your leg too much, alright?” “Thank you.” you whimpered.

The call ended. You then lay back to rest and wait for the ambulance to show up for you. But then you passed out. Before you know it, you woke up to see you were inside of an ambulance; up in the air. You had a cold cloth placed on your forehead by none other than gym leader Iono of Levincia. “Look who’s awake!” she says, though not too excitedly, but still managing a smile. You kinda gave a side smile as you were exhausted from the pain in your leg. “H-h-hey, Iono…” you groaned. “Hey there, friendo,” Iono says, already sounding calm, “I heard what happened. Also hearing you’re being brought to the hospital in my town. How are you feeling?”

You close your eyes and breathe deep to fight the sick feeling in your tummy. You were in serious pain, so it’s making you dizzy and nauseous. “Like absolute hell.” you groaned. “Don’t worry,” Iono said, “the crew at Levincia Hospital are top tier. Your leg will be patched up perfectly. I promise.” “I believe you.” you say before you pass out again.

It wasn’t long until you woke up in a hospital bed with your broken leg wrapped up. The doctor was in the room with you. “Hello, Miss (Y/N),” she said, “we got your leg all fixed up for you. You had pretty nasty fractures in your tibia and kneecap, so I would recommend staying off that leg until it’s fully healed. We will provide you with crutches until then. If there’s anything else you need, let us know.” “Ah, well….if you don’t mind….can you call my boyfriend, Arven? Here’s his number.” You passed Arven’s number to the doctor.

After making a quick phone call, you were informed Arven was on his way to the hospital. It wasn’t too long until he came into the room and sat by your bed. “Hey, sweetness.” he says, holding your hand as he had a worried tone in his voice. “Hi, babe.” you groaned. Your head was sweaty from the pain you went through. “Rough day, huh?” Arven asks, calmly. “Today really sucked,” you whined, putting your free hand over your eyes, “all thanks to that damned Diglett.” Arven gently caressed your cheek with his free hand and spoke gently to you, “Poor baby. Don’t worry. When we get you back home, I’ll take care of you, ‘Kay?”

Once you were released from the hospital, and with crutches for you, you and Arven took a Squawkabilly taxi back to your shared apartment. Arven helped lay you on the couch and propped two pillows under your leg to keep it elevated. “Are you hungry at all? Want anything to eat?” he asks. “Nah,” you groaned, “I’m not feeling too good to eat right now.” Arven nods. “Understandable.” he says. “Although, I could use a couple of Advils.” you said. “Oh, of course.” Arven says as he goes into the kitchen.

He comes back out with a glass of water and two Advil tablets in hand. He helps you sit up so you could take them. You pop the tablets in your mouth and drink down the water. Arven then sits on the couch with you; laying your head down on his lap. You turned your head to face Arven; Arven caresses your cheek as he looks at you with calm eyes. His touch felt amazing, even after having such a bad day with ending up in the hospital with a broken leg. At least it ended with being in the care of your loving boyfriend.

You took a nap in Arven’s lap. His touch was so comforting that it relaxed you enough to make you fall asleep. The Advil did, too. Arven fell asleep sometime after you did because of how peaceful you looked sleeping in his lap.
