A Consoling Encounter (Ed x May)

Ed had some issues with his sister, Sarah. Then again, so did May Kanker, with her two sisters, Marie and Lee. May had seen Ed sitting on a stump, in tears, then stood to talk to him.

Ed was being harassed by Sarah, his only sibling, and their parents didn’t believe anything he tried to tell them. So rather than going into his room, he ran away; into the woods. He stops at a stump and sits down on it.

I don’t understand, he thought to himself, I didn’t start it. I try to be a good brother, but it seems I’m not trying enough.

His eyes started to tear up. He started to cry; all on his own. He felt his parents and Sarah don’t really appreciate him all that much. He would go to his friends, Eddy and Double D, regarding the problem, but Eddy would tell him to suck it up, and Double D…well, he just couldn’t bother him with it all the time. Since Double D was an only child, he wouldn’t know much about what it’s like to have siblings.

“Ed? Are you okay?” a female voice called to him. Ed didn’t look up to see who it was. The person who came up to him to check on him. He finally looks up to see May Kanker, concern filling her face.

“Don’t be afraid, Ed,” she gently tells him, “I’m not here to hustle on you. Just couldn’t help but see you like this. What’s wrong?”

Ed wipes his face with his jacket as he proceeds to tell May about his situation.

“It’s my sister,” he sobs, “she told Mom and Dad on me after all she did to harass me. They wouldn’t believe me because Sarah made it sound like I’m at fault. Am I not a good enough brother?”

“Oh, of course you are, Ed,” May tells him, putting a hand gently on Ed’s shoulder, “if anything, your sister has no reason to be bossy or mean to you. And believe me, I know how it is. Lee and Marie are kinda the same way with me.”

“Really?” Ed says. “Yes, really,” May said, “I only act mean just to impress them, but that doesn’t always work out. They still think they’re better. And come to think of it, I’m now realizing you and I are very much alike.”

Ed thought about it. He knew May was right; that they both have horrible siblings. He could never get Sarah to be nice to him, nor could May get Lee and Marie to.

“I feel really bad for how often I got uneasy around you, May,” he tells her, “I’m sorry I did. I’m starting to realize we actually do have something in common.”

“It’s okay, Ed,” May said, “and yeah, we do.” She moves the hand that’s on Ed’s shoulder down to his hand and holds it. Ed almost hesitated to take hold of her hand, but he actually does hold it.

“Do you like buttered toast?” he asks. May smiles at his question. “I love buttered toast.” she replies. That made Ed feel better; a smile formed on his face.

“I love you, May.” he says, no hesitation whatsoever. May perked up. She gave the brightest smile ever. “You really do?” she asks.

“I really do,” Ed says, “it just took me quite some time to figure that out. And to see it. I’m willing to give this a chance if you are.”

“Oh, Ed!” May goes to hug Ed, which Ed does to her in return. “I love you, too! I’ll definitely give this a chance. And I promise I will treat you right.”

Ed smiled, closing his eyes as he and May hug. They hugged for a while before slightly pulling away. They then kiss each other. Ed never thought he’d actually enjoy it, but he sure does.

He and May spent the night in that exact spot in the woods. Eddy and Double D would probably be looking for Ed in the morning. As would Lee and Marie. Sarah? Well, she probably would. Her friend, Jimmy, would probably tell her she should be nice to Ed.

Ed and May would probably tell them about it. Maybe, maybe not.

Sweet Flavor; Bad Aftertaste

Your friends, even Arven, are somehow cursed by some toxic mochi. You and Kieran had to take matters into your hands to break the curse caused by this peachy-looking Pokémon. Mentions of mild cursing and vomit.

Nemona went missing while you, Penny, Kieran and Arven were searching for the remote in the Community Center in Kitakami.

“Where could she have gone?” you asked. “She in the bathroom or something?” Arven asked. “No,” Penny said, “I was over there. I would have seen her go in there.” “She’s not in the backrooms, either,” Kieran said, “I was there the whole time.”

“Maybe she’s outside.” you said. Everyone else nodded. “Well, (Y/N),” Kieran said, “you and I can go out and find her. Arven, Penny, you two stay here in case she gets back.” “Be careful out there.” Arven said.

So you and Kieran exit the building to go find Nemona when you see a couple nearby. For some reason, they were doing what looked like the chicken wing flap with their arms, the tippy toe dance and chanting “Mochi mochi!” Even their eyes were a vivid magenta color and a dark aura was surrounding them.

“What in the name of Arceus is going on!?” you questioned. Kieran was in utter shock. “They’re doing exactly what my sis was doing!” he exclaimed. You and Kieran hurriedly snuck past the couple and continued on, passing the little bridge and going up the stairs to find Nemona. You both come across Kieran and Carmine’s grandparents.

They, too, were doing the same dance, also with magenta-colored eyes and a dark aura. “Not you both, too!” Kieran cried. “Shit,” you gasp, “I hope this doesn’t happen to Arven.” “Well, as long as he doesn’t get his hands on those purple mochi. He or Penny. Though I bet you anything Nemona ate the one at Peachy’s.” Kieran said, before slightly approaching his grandparents.

“Gramps! Grandma! Stop eating those mochis!” he exclaims. The grandparents just glared at you and Kieran and continued doing that weird dance while chanting “Mochi! Mochi!” You and Kieran decided to just battle them, hoping they would snap out of it.

Didn’t work. They were still cursed.

Just then, Arven called. “Yo, sweetie,” he said, “are you guys okay? Have you found Nemona yet?” “Not yet,” you told him, “though we had just came across some folks doing that weird dance Carmine was doing.” Your voice sounded cracked like you were about to cry.

“Whoa, (Y/N), are you crying?” Kieran asked. “Uh-oh!” Arven gasped. “Arven, look up there! It’s the thing I was trying to tell you about!” you hear Penny exclaim through the phone.

“Arven, please! Whatever you guys do-” “AAAAHH!” Penny shrieks, then the call cuts out. “Arven!! Arven!!!!” you begin to panic, tears coming. Kieran tried to calm you. “(Y/N)! Hey, (Y/N), take it easy,” he reassures, “we’ll head back down there to check on them.”

So you and Kieran went back to Mossui Town to check on Arven and Penny. You ran to Arven and hugged him tight, literally crying. “Oh, Arven, thank Arceus you’re okay! I was worried you would get cursed, too!”

But Arven didn’t say anything. He didn’t even hug you back. But you could feel his motion; flapping his arms. He even uttered the word “Mochi!” “Arven, stop messing around. This isn’t funny.” you whimpered.

“Ummm….(Y/N),” Kieran said, “I don’t think he’s messing around. And neither is Penny. Look at them.” You pulled away from Arven to see his eye was magenta. Then you noticed the dark aura surrounding him. Then you looked over at Penny, also with magenta eyes and dark aura and the weird mochi dance.

“No!! Not you guys, too!! Not my boyfriend! Not my friend! Why!?” You fell to your knees and broke down even harder before Arven, who was awkwardly dancing the mochi dance and looking down at you.

“M-mo? Sweet…chi?” There was concern in his voice, even in this curse. Almost like he’s trying to resist the curse that took hold of him.

Kieran was trying to deal with Penny in her mochi-crazed state by battling her. “Cheeeee!!” Penny chants. “I’m snapping you out of this,” Kieran said, “while (Y/N) is dealing with Arven.”

“Snap out of it! Please, Arven!” you begged. Arven may be cursed, but it seems he’s fighting to stop dancing funny. “Mochi-chi-chi-chi? Baby-chi? Oof!” You knocked the wind out of Arven by punching him in the stomach, hoping he would somehow chuck up the toxic mochi.

Arven slightly curled, but he didn’t throw up. “Try sticking a finger into the back of his throat and touch his uvula!” Kieran called to you as he was just now trying that to Penny after defeating her Eeveelutions.

“Oh, dear Arceus,” you groaned, “forgive me.” You grab Arven from behind and forcefully shove a finger into his mouth; reaching for his uvula. You could then hear Arven gag and he was still dancing.

That did it. Arven threw up. You pulled your hand away from his mouth just in time for him to expel the chewed-up mochi. Kieran succeeded with getting Penny to throw hers up, too. She and Arven fell to their knees, coughing and breathing heavily.

“Arven?” you spoke to your boyfriend, hoping he’s back to normal. The dark aura was slowly fading. Both him and Penny groaned. Penny then spoke, “Ugh! Guess…that didn’t agree with my stomach.”

Arven sat himself up, eyes closed; gut acid dripping from his lip. You took a tissue out of your pocket and wiped his mouth with it. “You feeling better, honey?” you asked.

Arven turns his head towards you and slowly opens his eyes. They were back to its original aquatic color. You were relieved, though you still had tears in your eyes.

“I…I feel better, I guess,” Arven said, until he noticed your tears, “oh, sweetie! You’re crying?” You nodded, gently pulling Arven into your arms. “I was scared I lost you.” you quietly sobbed.

Arven hugged you back. “I’m still here, baby,” he said, “you didn’t lose me.” “(Y/N)! Arven! Watch out!” Kieran yelled. You and Arven look up to see the peach Pokémon preparing to fire off more mochi. It looked furious.

It fired mochi at you and Arven, but you both dodged them. You quickly pulled out your Hydreigon. “Hydreigon, use Dark Pulse! Terastallize!” you ordered as you threw your Terastal Orb at Hydreigon. It Terastallized and unleashed its Dark Pulse at the ghostly peach.

The Pokémon, Pecharunt, was defeated and caught in no time. Just then, you see all the people around return to normal. “Nicely done, (Y/N)!” Kieran cheered. Arven hugged you again. “You did it, baby,” Arven said, “you saved us all again.”

Penny shudders, seeing all the purple mochi scattered everywhere. “Not eating those ever again.” Arven looks down at the puke spill on ground. “Was that from me?” he asked.

“Yes,” you said, “I had to force you to throw up. That mochi was the cause of everyone around to act weird. And that Pokémon, called Pecharunt, was using those who ate the mochi as its puppets.”

Arven shudders. “Creepy thing.” he said. Just then, Nemona’s voice was heard. “Guys,” she called, “how did I end up at Loyalty Plaza?”

Kieran shook his head. “Nevermind, Nemona,” he said, “too long of a story to tell. (Y/N) had already found the remote for the TV in the Community Center. Let’s just go and relax.”

“Well, before we do,” you said, looking at the mess of puke and mochi on the ground, “we gotta make sure this gets cleaned up and disposed of. We don’t want to leave it around for some other folks to get ahold of.”

Everyone else agreed. Your Quaquaval, Arven’s Cloyster and Penny’s Vaporeon sprayed away the puke spills while everyone else picked up all the scattered mochi and chucked them in the trash so nobody can get ahold of them again.

Soon after, you and everyone else relaxed in the Community Center and watched a movie. The rest of the week was spent attending the festival.

Arven: “Is that a butt?”

You: *Tries to stifle a laugh*

Arven: “What? It is a butt, isn’t it?”

You: *Bursts out laughing*

Arven: “What!? *Cracks up laughing* I’m just asking what that is!”

You: *Manages to talk through laughter* That’s not a butt, Arven. That’s Solosis. It’s a cell Pokémon.”

Arven: “Ah, ok. Just thought it looked so wrong.” *Laughs*

You: *Continues laughing*

Arven x Female Reader: Aftertrip Care

You were returning to Paldea from a loooong trip in Kitakami, tired and worn down. That’s when Arven takes care of you.

“We appreciate your visit, (Y/N)!” the caretaker happily declares as you board the bus. You waved before the bus doors closed. Once the bus brought you to the airport, you got off, then boarded the plane back to Paldea.

You haven’t slept all too well or at all while you were visiting Kitakami. You were busy with visiting signboards with Kieran, helping to clear Ogerpon’s name with the help of him and his sister, Carmine, tracking down the Bloodmoon Beast, Ursaluna, with Perrin, but you especially had one subject in thought:

Arven.

Your boyfriend, who was not able to come to Kitakami with you as he had to stay behind and catch up on his schoolwork. You missed him so much, it felt like you hadn’t seen him in forever.

After a long and exhausting flight back to Paldea, you got off the plane, dragging your feet as you were VERY sleepy; too tired to talk. Your eyes were screaming for sleep; they were practically blurry. Your body was shutting down, but you were fighting to stay up until you got to the academy.

“(Y/N)!” you hear a familiar voice call to you. You could barely lift your head up to see who was coming to you. You couldn’t even process a gentle hug being given to you.

“You okay, sweetness? You don’t seem too alert.” It was Arven, hugging you and talking to you. He lifts your face so he could get a look at you. “Looks like sleep deprivation. Don’t worry, hon,” Arven said, carefully scooping you up off your feet, “I can bring you up to my dorm so you can sleep.”

Arven carried you all the way up to his dorm and laid you down on his bed. You were fully passed out while he was carrying you in his arms.

You were unaware of where you were until you partially opened one eye to see you were in Arven’s room; on his bed. It was almost dark outside, so it seemed you had slept the day away. You couldn’t remember Arven meeting you outside of the school or him carrying you up to his room. You were too exhausted to remember.

You looked around the room to see he wasn’t there. He left a note for you indicating he was going to get stuff for dinner. He even left Mabosstiff there with you to look after you.

You got out of bed to go to the bathroom. You felt pretty refreshed after sleeping for so long. Once you were done doing your business and we’re about to wash your hands, you heard the dorm door open. Arven was back.

After you washed your hands, you exited the bathroom to see Arven in the kitchen, setting everything on the counter, then turning to see you. He smiles at you.

“Hey, love,” he says, walking up to you and hugging you, “you feeling okay? You’ve been asleep for nearly the whole day.” You hugged him back. “I feel better now, thank you.” you said.

You felt Arven kiss you on the side of your head. “Of course, sweetie. I brought stuff home for dinner. Hope you’re hungry.” You nod, saying, “Haven’t eaten since I left Kitakami.” Arven slowly pulls away. “I’ll get to cooking right away,” he says, giving you a kiss on the cheek, “gonna make your favorite.”

Arven cooked your favorite meal for the both of you. Once it was ready, you both got to eating. Soon after, with full bellies, you two relaxed in bed until you both fell asleep. It made you happy to know Arven is there for you even after you’ve been gone for a while.

Arven x Female Reader: Build-Up

Arven’s stomach had been aching. You try what Nurse Miriam instructs for you to help him. Could be funny.

“Urrrrgh…” Arven woke up to cramps in his stomach. He went into the bathroom to try to relieve himself. His groans woke you up; he was in the bathroom and you could hear it from the bed. “Arven?” you called. Arven opens the bathroom door and steps out with a hand on his tummy.

“My stomach is cramped.” he groaned. You sit up in bed. “Did you get sick?” you asked. “No.” Arven said, walking to the bed to sit down and continuing to hold his stomach.

“Think I need to see the nurse.” he groans. You rub his back gently and tell him, “I’ll come with you. Just wanna make sure you’ll be okay.” Arven looks at you and gives you a pained smile. “Thank you.” he said.

You took Arven to see Nurse Miriam to find out what’s going on with his stomach. As Arven was laying on the bed in the office, Miriam was pressing down on his tummy. “Might be a gas build-up,” she says, “have you tried farting?”

Arven blushed at that question. “I’ve been trying all morning,” he says, “but it’s not coming out.” “Hmm.” Miriam nods. She thought for a moment on what Arven could do. She then asks, “Have you tried bending your legs and doing the pedal motion?”

Arven cocks an eyebrow. “You mean like this?” He starts to move his legs like he was pedaling on a bike. “Like that,” Miriam said, “but bend them further. See if that helps.” Arven bends his legs more and continues “pedaling”, his knees nearly touching his chest. “Hopefully that will work.” you said.

Arven had been “pedaling” for about five minutes. Nothing. His legs were getting tired and he was not anywhere near farting. He stopped “pedaling” and set his legs down. “It’s not working.” he whines. “Anything else he can do, Nurse?” you asked. “Well…” Miriam looks through a list of ways to help treat gas build-up, then says, “try eating cabbage or a couple spoonfuls of chili oil. If nothing persists, come on back.”

So you and Arven went out to the Herba Mystica cave where you and him met Klawf. Arven thought about adding some Sweet Herba Mystica from the cave along with some Spicy Herba Mystica he had leftover into a concoction of cabbage and chili oil and beans. Beans are one thing to help a gassy stomach, so are cabbage and spicy stuff.

“I really hope this will work.” he says as he anxiously puts every needed ingredient together. He got done cooking the beans just before topping them with cabbage and sweet and spicy herbs. He dug right in. You could tell he was desperate to fart.

When he was done eating, his stomach grumbles. That’s when he lays down on his back and holds his knees up to his chest. “This had better work, I swear.” he says. You reached for his stomach and massaged it. “You can do it, Arven,” you tell him, gently, “just try to push it.”

“What am I doing, giving birth?” Arven asks, chuckling slightly. You chuckled, too. “Just do it,” you said, “you want that build-up released from your system, don’t you?” Arven had no room to bicker with you, so he shut his eyes tight, clenched his teeth and grunted as he strived to push out that massive fart.

Arven had been laying in that position for nearly two minutes; nothing happening. He was getting frustrated. “Now what!?” he whines. “Roll over,” you said, helping Arven roll over on to his stomach, “bend your knees and lift up your butt. And hold my hands.” You get in front of him and he holds both your hands, looking up at you. “Push again.” you said.

So Arven pushed as hard as he possibly could. “Speaking of which,” you said, “when did you go number 2 last?” Arven answered through his grunting, “Yesterday afternoon.” You nod, saying, “Oh, okay. Nevermind I asked. Keep going.” So Arven kept pushing until….

He finally let a long, huge one loose. It sounded dry and deep and lasted about a good 10 seconds. You looked into Arven’s eyes and you could tell he was relieved. Once his massive fart had been fully released, he laid flat on his tummy and sighed with relief.

You rubbed his back. “How are you feeling, sweetheart?” you asked. “Mmmm…I feel better.” Arven says. Just then, the stench invaded your nose and you gagged, tucking your nose into your shirt. Arven laughed. “Sorry,” he says, “it just feels so good to be relieved aga-oh!”

He was cut off by the smell of his own fart and he covered his mouth and nose. “Oh, Arceus, that was rancid!” His exclamation was muffled. Now you were laughing. “Well, it all came from you.” you said. You both were laughing.

A little after, you and Arven bailed the now foul-smelling cave to go back to the academy; back to his dorm so you both could take a shower.

Adaman x Female Reader: No Time For Wisdom

Adaman had to have his wisdom teeth removed while you and him were in Pasio. Wait ‘till he becomes loopy.

You and Adaman had been in Pasio for three weeks now. It had been interesting for the both of you to explore around the region in this time frame. Though as you, he and one other teammate battled against another team, Adaman began to notice discomfort in his mouth. Your team still beat the opposing team, but decided to call it done after that.

You recalled seeing a dental clinic on your journey, so you took Adaman there to have his mouth looked at.

He was in a chair with an X-Ray in his mouth. The dentists then shows him what was going on. “Wisdom teeth,” she said, “you have all four. And telling by the discomfort you’re feeling, they are gonna need to be surgically removed as soon as possible. So we’ll schedule you for the extraction tomorrow.”

Adaman was beyond nervous. But he would feel even less if you would be there for him. There wasn’t much going on for tomorrow as far as Pokémon battles, so it works out well.

The next day, you took Adaman back to the clinic. You told him he’ll only have a few days to a week to recover from the surgery and you’ll help him eat. Adaman takes a deep breath as he goes into the operating room. “I’ll be out here.” you said.

An hour later, the doctor comes out. “He’s done,” she says, “he should be waking up any second now.” “Got it.” you said as you contacted a taxi to take you and Adaman back to your shared apartment. As you waited, you got his medication and care sheet; containing the suggested times Adaman can take the meds.

Soon later, the taxi came and picked you and the goofy and loopy Adaman up. He was a little giggly on the ride to the apartment; just slowly moving his head side to side. “You must be having a good time, huh, sweetie?” you asked.

Adaman looks at you with tired eyes. “I’m-ughh-hunky dory.” he slurs with gauze in his mouth. He then continues giggling. You were giggling, too, seeing he was a goofy mess from the drugs he was given.

Once you both got to the apartment, you helped Adaman out of his haori and shoes and lay him down on the couch. You put an extra pillow under his head and looked at the sheet.

“So I’ll fix you a shake and give you your pills with it in a few hours.” you tell him. You sit by him; on a chair beside the couch and rest a hand on his shoulder as you put on a soothing video on PokéTube for him to watch.

You carefully took the gauze out of Adaman’s mouth and rinsed it out. There wasn’t much bleeding from his wounds since the gauze was removed; just a teeny bit.

You made Adaman a shake and helped spoon feed him when he took his medicine after a while of him napping. You made sure the shake was strained of any bits to not upset the wounds in Adaman’s mouth. Poor man looked sad when he had puffy cheeks and sleepy eyes. You felt bad, but you needed to help him.

“It’s gonna be okay, Adaman,” you tell him calmly, “those pills are going to help you. And if you need, when you’re done with your shake, I can get you an ice pack to put on your cheeks. That sound okay?” Adaman nodded. So you went to go grab an ice pack from the freezer and you brought it to him.

“Switch to the other cheek when you think the one side doesn’t hurt as much anymore.” you said, placing the pack gently on Adaman’s left cheek. Adaman held it there; his hand tiredly trembling. He looks at you; giving you the derpiest smile. You tilt your head curiously.

“Is that a smile?” you asked. Adaman nods, managing to say, “I apprethiate what you do, my wuv. I weally do. Fank you.” His voice sounded tired. You put your arms around his shoulders, but not fully hugging him since you needed to be careful with him.

“Of course, dear,” you said, kissing him on his head, “how are you feeling, otherwise?” “Nnngh….tired and woothy,” Adaman groans, “like Alakathaam uthed Hypnothith on me. Mayyyyyybe Confuthion.” His tongue was shivering as the ice pack was freezing his swollen face.

He lay back down to rest and continue watching those soothing PokéTube videos while icing his face. You sat with him for a while. A couple hours later, you helped get him to bed. It’s gonna be a long week for him, but he’ll soon be smiling bright again.

Yeah, I’m highly nervous about my wisdom teeth and when I need to have them out. Couldn’t help but write about our beloved characters and main characters undergoing the extractions. But, either way, hope you enjoyed them.

Adaman x Female Reader: Second Chance

You took on a difficult challenge by Arceus while it was frenzied. Mentions of death!

You were venturing the Coronet Highlands, going towards the Summit Camp when you heard something call to you. (Y/N), it said, come. Come to the temple. A challenge awaits thee. You cocked an eyebrow at the odd request, but made your way up to the Temple of Sinnoh.

When you got there, Arceus was standing there; a void behind it. It was guiding you to it; you go in with it. “What is this challenge?” you asked. Arceus looks to you, telepathically speaking to you, Thou has fulfilled seeking out all Pokémon in this very land. This challenge is but not an easy one. Thou have to face me as I am frenzied. Show me the skills thou withhold.

The challenge begins with you being equipped with balms to throw at Arceus as it proceeds with battling you. It took you a while to defeat it. You were worn down and wounded from when it struck you a few times. You kept getting back up for every time you blacked out, refusing to quit. It pleased Arceus that you didn’t give in.

So Arceus was now in your possession. You exited the void, but you were feeling weak all over. Your head was throbbing; vision blurring; body numbing. You fell to the ground. The one thing Arceus least expected: you had died.

Meanwhile in the Crimson Mirelands, in his hut, Adaman was having a nightmare. He hadn’t slept too well since hearing you were almost killed by Volo and Giratina. He was awakened by Dialga’s voice in his head, Adaman!

Adaman shrieked and fell out of bed. He quickly stood up. “What!? What is it!?” he asked in panic. Dialga’s voice continues, Hardship has occurred. Pain and grief. (Y/N) has fallen.

Your name being mentioned made Adaman’s ears perk up. “‘Fallen’?” he repeats, wondering what Dialga meant. (Y/N) has died at the Temple of Sinnoh. Adaman’s heart sank. “No!” he snaps. He puts on his shoes and haori and rushes out of his hut to head to the highlands.

“No! No! No!!! She couldn’t have!” he was panicking as he was running. He stumbles upon Wyrdeer; the one Mai sees to. “Wyrdeer,” he says, “take me to the peak of Coronet Highlands! Quick!” Wyrdeer nods and let’s Adaman mount his back, then they set off to Coronet Highlands.

Your body had been laying there for quite a while; eyes left open. Adaman and Wyrdeer approached the Temple of Sinnoh to find you there. He dismounted Wyrdeer and went to your side. He had tears in his eyes the second he saw you. He knelt down to you to roll your body on your back.

That’s when he sees your face; he sees your eyes still opened. It was just too much for him to handle. He quickly stood up to lean over the side of the dais and throw up. Seeing his little sweetheart laying there dead really traumatized him.

You see darkness all around you. Your body no longer hurting; no wounds around your body; no numbness or throbbing. “Huh? What happened? Where am I?” you wondered. You hear Dialga talk to you. Your fight with Arceus caused you to perish. But you will not be dead for long. Adaman is there with you, begging for your revival. Your time is not now. I requested Arceus to give you a second chance of living. You will wake up in Adaman’s arms.

Adaman held you close and wept. He felt he had lost you forever. “(Y/N),” he sobbed, giving your cold lips a soft kiss, not caring if his breath smelled of vomit, “I…I don’t want you to go. Please come back! Please! Don’t leave me!” His sobs were broken; his tears dripping in your opened eyes. He then lowers his head to your chest. He had been begging for you to revive. He was miserable without you. He loved you.

Just then, your wounds healed up and the throbbing in your head subsided along with the numbness in your body. Your heart was beating again and you were breathing again. You blinked; you put your arms around the crying man. Adaman stops crying when realizing you had come back to life. He pulls away to see you; his face was wet with his tears.

“(Y/N)?” he spoke. You put a hand up to his face and wipe his tears away with your thumb. You smiled at him. “Hi, Adaman.” you said. That made Adaman smile and hug you tighter. He whined a little. Though while being hugged, you smelled something awful.

“What smells like puke?” you asked. “Sorry,” Adaman said, “I got a little sick. I was scared.” You thought nothing else of it and give him a kiss on the cheek. “I’m sorry this happened.” you said.

Adaman also kissed you on the cheek. “It wasn’t your doing,” he said, “but I’m just glad you’re alive again.”

You both sat there in each other’s arms for a while until you both went home to the settlement.

Adaman x Female Reader: Laced Sickness

During your research around Crimson Mirelands, you get sick so suddenly. Then an alpha Paras attacks you. Mentions of phlegm and mucus.

It was cold in the Crimson Mirelands. You were wearing a scarf and long sleeves for the weather, but you still felt a chill. “I shoulda known to have bought proper clothes for this kind of weather.” you said to yourself.

You were halfway though your research when you suddenly started coughing. Ugh, not now! you thought to yourself. Your body suddenly started to ache. You sat down for a moment to rest, but then you realized it was not a good place to rest.

Before your buzzing head could process what’s going on, an alpha Paras sneaks up on you and fires off Toxic; poisoning your sick self. Just like that, your coughing got worse. You fumbled for your Poké Ball containing your Typhlosion and he goes to fight off the alpha Paras, which eventually faints.

You were struggling to get to the Diamond Settlement; your body extremely weak from you getting sick and being poisoned. You were just a mile away from the settlement when you collapsed. You coughed a bit more until you fainted.

You were unsure of what was going on, but you thought, in your unconscious mind, you could taste Pecha Berry on your breath. You could even hear a muffled male voice around you. Sounded like there were mentions of “sick” and “poison” and whatever else you could barely even hear. You were unconscious, but at the same time, you felt scared. Sickness and poisoning don’t mix well.

You forced tears to stream from your eyes. That’s when you barely hear somebody mention “crying”. That was all you could hear even through the muffling. You thought you could hear the voice getting closer to you, saying, “Ca…….ear me? It’s oka……..afe now. ……..anaged to cle…….oison fro……dy.” You could recognize that voice. It was Adaman’s voice talking to you.

Just then, you felt something cold get in contact with your forehead. You regained consciousness from that. As you opened your eyes, your vision was slightly blurry. You blink to try to clear your vision. Once you were able to see again, you see Adaman sitting by you, blotting your forehead with a cold and damp cloth. It felt so good.

You then had a coughing fit, scaring Adaman a bit. He rubs at your chest to try to settle your coughing. “Easy there, love. Easy.” he tells you. You coughed up so hard, you felt phlegm come up your throat. Adaman notices your gagging and grabs a bucket beside him and holds it for you to spit in. You then spit all the phlegm into the bucket and lay back down.

“Did you get sick?” Adaman asks. You nod, answering with a hoarse voice, “Yeah. I didn’t….really meant to. I sat down….somewhere to rest…..then this…..alpha P-Paras….came out of nowhere…..and used…..ughhhh……Toxic.” “I figured it was a Poison move,” Adaman nods, “but you didn’t get sick on purpose, nor get poisoned on purpose. Don’t blame yourself.”

You then sneezed, mucus shooting out your nose. Adaman quickly grabs a tissue to wipe your nose clean. “Bless you.” he said as he gathers all the mucus in the tissue and tosses it in the bucket you chucked in. “Ughhh….I hate this.” you whined. “I know,” Adaman says as he takes your hand in his, “but don’t worry. I have all the remedies you’ll need to feel better. In the meantime, just rest. And let me know if you need anything.”

He helps you sit up to drink some water and take some medicine before letting you get back to resting. He reassured you that he would stay with you until you’re better. He even planned on giving you a bath and making some soup and tea for you. He was worried about you, but he cares about you and is willing to take care of you in any way you need.

Arven x Female Reader: Food Poisoning

You ate something bad at the school cafeteria and you got sick that night. That’s when Arven shows up to take care of you.

Class was over for the day. You went back to your dorm to relax and do some schoolwork. Though as you were studying, you started to feel queasy. You sat back in your chair and took some breaths, hoping that feeling would go away. But it didn’t. You felt a wave of nausea hit you. You got up out of your chair and scurried to the bathroom just in time for you to expel the nasty contents of your stomach into the toilet.

Your Rotom Phone flies to you, indicating you got a text. It was from Arven.

“Hey, sweetness. What’s going on in there? Are you okay?”

You stopped puking and you respond:

“I’m sorry if you’re hearing it all. I just threw up. I think I ate something bad at lunch.”

Arven then answers:

“Oh, that’s terrible. Might be food poisoning. Hold on. I have some medicine for that. I’ll be right in.”

You didn’t want Arven to come in and catch your stomach bug. You flushed the toilet, rinsed your mouth and washed your hands. You even sprayed air freshener in your bathroom. You tried walking back to your bed, but you were too dizzy and weak.

Arven comes in with stomach relief medicine and sees you trying to walk to bed. He comes to your side and helps walk you to bed. “There you go, love,” he says, “let’s change you into your PJs and I’ll give you your medicine.” Arven helps you out of your uniform and into your favorite PJs. He then helps you get into bed and puts your trash can by your bed.

“What was it you had at lunch?” He asked you. You groaned, not wanting to mention anything food related, so you went with the number on the menu in the cafeteria. “Number 8.” you said. Arven remembered what dish that was and almost said it, but held his tongue. He didn’t want you thinking about it. “I’ll talk to the staff about it tomorrow,” he said, “it might be the result of cross-contamination. I’m just lucky I don’t order…..the ‘F’ word here at school. That’s why I prepare it myself.” He was super careful not to mention food.

Arven pours the liquid medicine into the cap and sits you up so you can take it. Once you gulped it down, you lay down to rest. Arven gets up to grab his notepad from his backpack and wrote down a reminder to talk to the staff to inspect the Number 8 on the menu: The Chonky Lechonk Sandwich. He stores his notes away and goes back to checking on you.

You were laying there, feeling absolutely miserable and barely moving. You watch as Arven sits down in your desk chair and scoots it towards your bed. You slowly close your eyes and hope your sickness disperses soon.

As you were sleeping, Arven did the rest of your schoolwork for you. He already had his done before hearing you get sick in the bathroom earlier. When he finished, he turned around to see you. You were fast asleep. Arven felt he couldn’t leave you alone all night, so he decided to sleep in your dorm. He unrolled his sleeping bag on the floor in front of your bed and nestled in.

The whole night, you slept. Though you still feel sick and achy the next day. You woke up to see Arven wasn’t there. He left you a note telling you he’s giving word to the staff about the menu item and is coming back. You haven’t thrown up yet and probably don’t feel like it, so you stayed in bed until Arven returned.

Arven came back to see how you were holding up. “You doing okay, sweetness?” he asks. You tell him groggily and sickly, “Haven’t puked yet, but still feel woozy.” Arven nods. He then says, “Take it easy, love. Just rest as much as you need. And let me know if you need anything. I’ll be here with you.” You nod again as you go back to sleep. Arven spends the whole day in your dorm with you so he could take care of you. He was lucky he didn’t get sick.

Arven x Female Reader: Panic Attack

You have never witnessed Arven undergoing panic attacks before until one day. You’ve had your share of panic attacks before and know how to help him.

Arven couldn’t rid his mind of the fact that his dad, Professor Turo, is deceased. It had overwhelmed him; making him lose focus in class as well as losing sleep. He broke down at one point when he was trying to sleep.

Just one day, as class was over for the day, he was pulled into Director Clavell’s office. Clavell had explained to Arven that the teachers were noticing he was losing focus on assignments and that they all were worried something was wrong. Arven told him the same thing he told the teachers.

“It takes time, Master Arven,” Clavell said, “recovering from losing a loved one is never easy. It’s very understandable. If you need some time away from class to try to recover, I can manage that for you.”

“Yes please, sir.” Arven said, voice cracking. He put a hand up to his face to shield his tears. Director Clavell grabs a tissue box and hands it to Arven. Arven takes one out and dabs it on his face. “Go rest now, Master Arven,” Clavell said, “take as much time as you need. You can return to class anytime.” “Thank you, sir.” Arven says as he gets up and leaves the office.

You hadn’t seen Arven in class for three days now and you we’re wondering why. You noticed before he took some time out of class that he hadn’t been focusing all that well; noticing he had bags under his eyes. You didn’t want to disturb him in case he was still grieving his father’s death. But you grew concerned. You just had to see Arven.

After class, you decided to go to his dorm. He wasn’t there. You decided maybe he’s at the lighthouse on Poco Path. You make your way there. I hope he’s okay and nothing happened to him, you thought. As you approached the lighthouse, you knock. You listen for a response. Instead of a single word, you hear what sounded like rapid breathing. Then you hear Mabosstiff bark on the other side.

You go ahead and open the door to see the dog; his face looked scared. “Buddy, what’s happening?” you asked. Mabosstiff looks over at the heavily breathing Arven laying on the couch and whines. You walk over to the couch and put a hand on Arven’s shoulder. “Arven?” you calmly try to get his attention. He doesn’t answer. He continues to breathe rapidly. You knew what was going on with him; he was having a panic attack!

You carefully sit Arven up and hold him in your arms, rubbing his back and whispering soothingly in his ear, “Shhhh….it’s okay, Arven. There, there. I’m here for you. It’s okay. Breathe slowly.” Arven’s breathing instantly went from rapid to calm. You could feel him wrap his arms around you; breathing steadily in your ear. “There you go, sweetheart,” you whisper soothingly, “there you go. That’s it.”

Arven took a big breath, officially relaxed. “Thank you, (Y/N),” he whispers, “thank you.” You smiled, knowing Arven’s feeling better. Arven then said, “I’m sorry you had to see that. I’ve just been through a lot since hearing my dad died.” “I know, sweetheart,” you said, still in a comforting tone, “I know it must have been hard.” “It was,” Arven said, “that’s why Director Clavell allowed me to spend some time out of school to recover from it.”

“Ah.” you nodded in understanding. Arven then finished off with, “Though since you came in to ease me of my grief and my panic attack, I feel better. Though I could use a nap…” he breaks into a yawn, “…since I’ve lost too much sleep. Will you stay in here to nap with me, (Y/N)? Pretty please?”

You had noticed his face when you came in; his eyes looking bloodshot along with sagging under his eyes. You really wanted to be there for him, so you agreed to taking a nap with him. Both of you lay down on the couch and slowly drift off to sleep in each other’s arms.

Arven recovered beautifully.

Since it’s Autism Awareness Month, I had this idea in mind. I’ve heard somewhere; something about Arven being Autistic (possibly High-Functioning), so this was what I thought of. Yeah, his hand looks funky since I erased the Tamato Berry and drew puzzle pieces in place of it the best I could.
