Saw this on Facebook today.  Out of all the complaints I’ve seen about new cartoons not being as good as old cartoons, this picture is one of the most infuriating.  Among many things I could say to rebut this, the biggest thing is that they’re comparing actual frames from shows to template images.  Anyone who’s watched the “now” shows knows that all four of those shows have great expressive character designs.
