How about a late Father's Day story with Lex and Libby??? <3 I miss reading stories about those two

awww, tha is a great idea :( sorry i’ve been super busy, but hopefully i’ll be able to write more now.

Lex awoke to a bang. He jumped up, his heart pounding then instantly relaxed when he saw Libby at the door holding a tray. “ Happy Fathers day Daddy,” She cheered as she walked over to him. He ran his fingers through his hair and smiled, “ well well well look at that.” He took the tray and scooted over so she could hop up on the bed next to him. “ I made toast and cereal and orange juice, and i only spilled a little,” Libby announced proudly. He smiled , thankyou so much it’s lovely. “ I also made a pillow fort in the movie room so we can watch a movie it a cool place,” She added producing a card, “aaaaannnnddd, i made you this.” He was overwhelmed with how much she had done, and even though he was slightly scared to see exactly what she had done in the kitchen, he opened the card which spilled out glitter onto his lap. He smiled and knew that would probubly never come out, but who cared. ‘Dear Daddy, You are the best Daddy and no one will ever be better ever in the world. Thankyou for doing lots and lots of good things for me, and making me food and taking me to the store. I love you so so much, Love Libby.’ To the left she had drawn a picture of them holding hands in a park. Tears were coming to his eyes, “ Thankyou darling, this is lovely.” She smiled and gave him a big hug, “ you’re welcome Daddy. Now eat your food while i see what movies we have.” She hopped off the bed and ran out of the room as Lex began eating the food she had brought him.

After he had finished eating and managed to get most of the glitter off his bed, he walked down stares to check the state of the kitchen. He rounded to cornner and was suprised to find it was spotless. “ Daddy come oooonnnn,” Libby called from the movie room. “ Coming,”Lex replied placing the tray down to join her. “ The kitchen looked great,” He said as he crawled into the fort she had made. She smiled proudly, “ I told you i only spilled once, but i cleaned it up.” He chuckled, “ you sure did, did you pick out a good movie?” She nodded and held up the movie Tangled, “ i know you like the horsey in this one.” He smiled, “ yep, alright go put it in ok.” She nodded and rushed over to the dvd player. He layed back on the stack of pillows and stuffed animals she had put in the fort, and smiled, how did he get so lucky? “Reaaaddddyyyyy,” Libby sang as she hopped into the fort snuggling  next to him. He hugged her,” good , lets do this.” As he sat there hugging his little girl , he couldn’t remember ever being this happy, since the death of Penny, and he wanted to keep this moment, treasure it, as long as he could.

(I just thought of something really sad, what if the reason he hates Superman so much, is because at one point while super man is saving a train or bus or building, saving hundreds or thousands of people, he didn’t have time to save everyone, and Libby ends up dying >.< i’m so sorry)

Lex is in his office flashing back to Libby's first Christmas, when Penny was still alive. Then the flashback ends when Libby shows up at his office after school's let out early b/c of the weather. Libby shows him all the ornaments she made in class and he lets her put one of the ornaments on the giant Christmas tree in the LexCorp lobby.

Lex was finishing up some paperwork, it was almost time to leave but he wanted to finish this up first so he wouldn’t have to be bothered with it tomorrow, which was the day of the annual Christmas party. His mind was wandering however. He had a small tree in his office and staring a it brought back memory’s of Libby’s first Christmas which was so bitter sweet.

“ Darling look what someone got us ,” Penny said waving a box in front of Lex’s face. Lex looked up and smiled at her , “ how nice of them, who exsactly is it from.” She smiled as she rocked Libby a bit before sitting next to Lex on the couch, “ my friend Beth.” He nodded as if he knew her  when in actuality he couldn’t keep all of Pennys friends straight. She was very popular and loved making friends, Lex didn’t. He preferred keeping a few close friends instead of a wide range. She pushed the present into his lap, “ open it come on now.” He sighed, “ alright love.” He slowly tore back the wrapping and opened the small bow to reveal a cute little stroller that had “ Baby’s first Christmas” and the year etched into the side. He turned it over in his hand and smiled lightly. He never really cared for people giving him gifts because all he cared about was his family. And this present captured it. “ Awww isn’t that adorable,” Penny said leaning in. Libby gazed up at it with wide eyes and grabbed at it. Lex showed it to her, “ it’s for you Libby.” She smiled and began sucking on it before letting it go. “ It’s  wonderful, i’ll make sure my company sends her something absolutely extravagant.” Penny chuckled, “ wow i’ve never seen you so moved over a present before, Beth sure hit the home run.” “ Well you know, you and Libby are the only thing that matter to me,” He whispered kissing her cheek. Penny smiled, “ you’re the most amazing husband ever, I love you so much.” They shared another kiss then placed the newly acquired ornament on the tree.

The door to Lex’s office swung open with a bang and snapped him out of his trance. He would have been upset, but he noticed Libby running towards him with something in her hands. “Hey princess, what are you doing out of school,” He asked picking her up. She smiled, “ the snow was sooo bad that teacher said we could leave, but lookie what i made today.” She held out a snowflake ornament that was painted about every color that she probably had access to, and doused in glitter. He smiled broadly and said, “ it is probably the most beautiful ornament that i’ve ever seen.” She smiled and asked, “ really?” He nodded, “ in fact, do you want to put it on the big tree down stairs?” Her eyes widened, “ yes yes yes yes.” She hopped down and ran to the door. Lex chuckled and followed her.

After she put it on the tree she spent about twenty minuets running around to all the employees and asking them to look at it. He was overjoyed that she was so happy and he wished that Penny could have been there to share it with him.

Suggestion for your possible future fanfic with Lex, Penny, and Libby: maybe around the time Penny found out she was pregnant with Libby, Lex was away on business and returned just in time for Christmas. Then Penny shows him an ultrasound picture on Christmas and she's worried about how he'd react but he's just happy. It could be a flashback Lex has in the beginning or somewhere in the middle? Just an idea for you. I'm really enjoying the Lex and Libby stories! They're so cute!

>w< absolutely , i know i’ve been super slacking on the Libby Lex stories but here I am yet again and i will totally do this, i mean i’m in a super Christmasy mood .

Lex didn’t want to go on this business trip, especially so close to Christmas, but there was no other choice. He zipped up his suitcase and sighed, “ I’ll only be gone a couple of days I’ll be back before you know it.” He felt like he was reassuring himself more than her. Penny smiled lightly and kissed his cheek, ‘ don’t worry darling, it’s good because i can do Christmas shopping while you’re gone.” He blushed and looked down smiling lightly, how did she always know what to say to make him feel better. He hugged her tightly and said , “ I will make every excuse under the sun to get back as fast as possible alright?” “ Deal,” Penny giggled. He sighed and gave her one last kiss before leaving, “ i love you so much.” “ I love you too Lexy,” Penny said with a wave.

Lex kept his promise and the moment he got there he informed them that he would need to leave as soon as possible because he had urgent matters at home to deal with. They understood and said that it would only take two days. He felt relieved because usually things like this could go on for at least a week. He happily texted Penny and told her the good news. She texted back how happy she was and that she got him an early Christmas present. He was surprised and couldn’t think of what she could have gotten him, he had always told her that there was never a need for her to get him anything but now she not only got him something, but early? It was a bit odd, none the less, he was excited.

The car couldn’t go fast enough to get him back home. He had planned out this entire night for them full of Christmas activities such as a carriage ride in the park, then a night in of her favorite Christmas movies and Champagne. It would be a fantastic night. he was also incredibly curious what this early Christmas present was.

As he walked through the door and called, “ i’m home honey .” “ Wow you got back fast,” Penny said coming out of the kitchen holding a mixing bowel, “ i’m making spaghetti.” He smiled, “ you’re the best.” He walked over and kissed her , “ I’ve got a surprise for you as well, a night of Christmas fun, a carriage ride in the park, then a movie night complete with champagne and Christmas movies.” She smiled then bit her lip lightly, “ well we might have to skip the champagne, because I haven’t given you your present yet.” Lex looked at her confused, “ what do you mean?” She smiled a tad nervously and went into the other room and came back with a small wrapped package, “ just open it.” Lex slowly opened it and saw a mug that said “ Worlds Best Dad”, this is cute but i’m not…” He paused and looked up at her his eyes wide, “ wait are you?” She slowly passed him a picture of the ultrasound, “ we’re having a baby Lexy.” He took the picture and stared in disbelief. There was a long  stretch of silence which made Penny shift a bit uncomfortable, “are you upset.” Lex laughed weakly, “mad, mad.” He looked up, tears in his eyes, “ we’re having a baby, an actual baby, how could i be mad.” He scooped her up,spun her around and kiss her, “ i’m so happy.” She laughed in relief , “ i am so happy.” He hugged her tightly, she definitely got him the best Christmas present ever.

Lex taking Libby on her first helicopter ride and her just enjoying the hell out of it :) I can just imagine her peering out of one of the helicopter windows in complete awe and Lex just smiling at her having a good time.

(Sorry this took so long to respond to i’ve been super busy and sick, but i am here now and i can’t wait to make this adorable imagine come to life >w<)

Lex had been swamped with work the past couple of weeks, so swamped in fact that he had been neglecting time to spend with Libby. He felt terrible about this and decided to make it up to her on the weekend with a special surprise. She had always wanted to go on a helicopter ride but Lex was very wary about letting her go on so his response was always, “ when you’re older.” Now, he decided it was time. He was still scared about letting her on however he decided as long as he didn’t let her out of his site she would be fine.

“ Daddy,” Libby pouted, “ you haven’t played with me for like fifty years.” He sighed and knelt besides her, “ i know princess, i’ve been very busy but, this weekend i have a surprise for you alright?”  Her eyes widened and she smiled, “ really??” He nodded , “ so just be patient and it will come.” She nodded smiling brightly, “ thankyou daddy i will i promise.” He nodded and left to finish up his remaining work, he needed this break too.

Walking out to the helicopter pad seemed like an everyday thing for Lex but as soon as Libby realized where she was she was cheering and jumping around in pure jubilation. “ DADDY I GET TO GO ON THE HELLYCOPTER, I REALLY DO,” She cheered . lex smiled brightly, it was probably the only time he actually gave a genuine smile, “ yep, you’re old enough now.” “ YEEEYYYY,” She celebrated spinning around. He chuckled and said, “ now hold my hand as we get closer to the helicopter okay?” She nodded and grabbed his hand with both of her hands. She began squealing with joy as the wind from the helicopter began to tussle their hair. “ Alright i’m going to lift you up , just climb in and sit down okay,” Lex instructed as he picked her up. “ yes daddy,” she said happily. He placed her into it and climbed in after her. She was sitting in a seat and peering out of the window. Lex closed the door and hollered, “ take off.” The pilot nodded. Lex sat next to Libby as she clapped, “ Daddy we’re going into the sky, like a bird.”  “ Yes just like a bird,” Lex agreed. They got high into the air and the pilot began circling around and going up and down and Libby was enjoying every second. She would point out every little detail that she thought she recognized such as, “ DADDY THAT’S MY SCHOOL!” Or  “ DADDY I THINK THAT’S THE STORE WE GO TO SOMETIMES!” Every time Lex would nod and agree even if it very obviously wasn’t the place. He didn’t want to put a damper on her fun evening.

After they got back home Libby begged for them to go on another ride but Lex told her it was about time for her to go to sleep. She didn’t like that answer but she went anyway.

The morning after he went into her room to wake her up and noticed she had her chairs formed into a bus looking form with her stuffed animals in each of the seats. He smiled knowing she must had played helicopter after they got home and he thought she was sleeping. He walked over and gently shook her sholder, “ hey princess it’s time to wake up.” She looked up and smiled, “ daddy is it time to go on another helicopter ride?” He chuckled and shook his head, “ no but i’ll tell you what, if you are good this whole week at school, i’ll take you again.” She smiled and nodded, “ deal.” Then she reached out and hugged him tightly, “ i love you daddy.” He hugged her back , “ i love you too sweet pea.”

There's actually a song called "daddy's little girl" and i can just picture Lex singing it to a newborn Libby in the middle of the night to calm her down. She's crying, her mother is about to get up and take care of it, but Lex tells her to back to sleep and he'll check on Libby. Then she overhears Lex singing the song to Libby while rocking her back and forth.

Awwwwww >w< i havn’t heard that song, it sounds precious though, you know what this means >w< daddy Lex Au time

Lex and Penny were sound asleep when there was a faint cry that rang out in the house. Libby was awake and upset. Lex sat up about the same time that Penny did and he rubbed her arm, “ go back to sleep darling i’ve got it.” He slowly got to his feet and stumbled into Libbys room. “ hey sweet girl, why are you up at this hour, “ Lex mumbled as he looked down into her crib. She kept crying and he gently scooped her up and began rocking her. “ There there don’t cry now,” He whispered. Libby’s cries turned into a light fuss but she was still wide awake. “ what else do you want me to do princess,” He asked the crying infant. He sighed, maybe he wasn’t cut out for this whole father thing. Suddenly he began singing a song he remembered hearing a while back called “ daddy’s little girl”. She seemed to like it and was slowly drifting back into a comfortable sleep. He smiled and continued singing, not even noticing Penny standing in the doorway.

After Libby had fallen back to sleep he turned to walk back to the bedroom and was greeted by Penny. “ what are you doing up love, i told you  i could do it,” Lex whispered. Penny smiled and said, “ you have a lovely singing voice dear.” He rubbed the back of his neck, “ well you know i was just.” She shook her head and gently kissed him, “ come on let’s go back to bed.” Lex nodded and followed Penny back into the room so they could all get some much needed sleep.

A oneshot where Libby gets sick at school and Lex takes care of her for the rest of the day. But as he's leaving to pick her up, one of his employees decides to give him a hard time about the matter and Lex ends the argument saying, "Libby's my daughter! She's the single most important thing in my life and all i have left in this world." After that, Lex picks Libby up, takes her back home, and the rest of the story is him taking care of her and it's all cute and fluffy <3 Thanks, sweetheart :)

Lex was in his office doing some work when his phone rang. He picked it up and his secretary said, “ it’s your daughters school on line one.” He was a bit alarmed and said, “ patch me through.” “ Mr Luthor, your daughter just came in and from the looks of it she has strep throat, I know you’re a very busy man but could you pick her up,” the nurse said. Lex cut her off, “ of course i can pick her up, she’s my daughter i’m not just going to leave her there, i’ll be there in twenty minuets.” He hung up the phone without waititng for an answer from the lady, why would she even bother saying “if” he had time, he always had time for his daughter, in his mind she was sometimes the only thing that kept him grounded. He grabbed his keys and walked purposfuly out of his office. He passed his receptionist and said, “ Libby is sick, i’ll be out the rest of the day.” She nodded and continued typing on her computer.

As he was making his way out one of his second in command Greg came up to him. “ Sir i just got a memo that you won’t be working the rest of today, may i ask why,” he questioned having to walk much quicker than his normal pace to keep up with him. “ Yes i have to go get my daughter from school she’s sick,” Lex answered curtly. “ Sir i’m sorry but we have a very important meeting today with some of the staff about the big project we’ve been working on, “ Greg reminded . Lex halted and glared at him, “ more important than my daughter?” Greg tried backtrack and said, “i…i uhh…i..uh …no.” Lex nodded , “ as i thought, uh you’re demoted and , ANDERSON.” Anderson poked his head above his cubical and answered, “ yes sir?”  “You’re my new number two,” Lex called, “ and there is a big meeting today, take notes and email them to me.” “ Yes sir,” Anderson said excitedly , running off to the meeting. Greg sat there speechless as Lex turned around and swiftly walked out the door.

Because of everything that happened with Greg he got to the school a bit later than he intended to. He walked in and asked the people at the front desk where Libby was and they pointed to a row of chairs to the right of me. She was laying and about three of them coughing. “ We asked her if she wanted to lay on a cot in the nurses office but she said that she wanted to see you right when you came in,” the ladys said. Lex felt his heart break. “ hey princess,” he said softly kneeling beside her. She opened one eye and smiled weakly, “ hi daddy, i don’t feel good.” Lex chuckled lightly, “ i know that’s why i’m here, you should have waited in the nurses office for me.” She coughed then whispered, “ but then i wouldn’t see you as quick as i did now.” He sighed, “ well alright come on lets go.” He scooped her up in his arms and took her out to the car.

He stopped at the pharmacy to get some medicine and a few treats that would hopefully make her feel better. Then he made her a nice bed on the couch in the living room. He would have just put her in her room but it was easier to keep an eye on her and get her things she needed. He put her pillow and a few of her favorite stuffed animals on the couch along with her favorite blanked. She smiled, “ i get to sleep on the couch, fun it’s like when we made that fort.” She hopped over and snuggled under the blankets. “ Don’t you want to get your pj’s on first sweetie,” He asked as he put all the things he bought on the counter. She nodded, “ yes Daddy, i’ll go do that.” She wrapped herself in her blanket and slowly made her way to her room. He smiled lightly, he hoped she’d feel better soon.

He had a nice tray of things for her set up when she came into her room with her favorite pjs, otherwise known as one of Lex’s old shirts and her my little pony pj pants. She snuggled back up on the couch as he brought over the tray. “What’s that,” she asked pointing at the medicine that was placed in a little red cup. He smiled, “ that is what’s going to make your throat feel better.” She picked it up and asked, “ does it taste good?” He sighed,” no, but i’ll tell you why princess, and it’s a secret so lean in.” Libbys eyes widened and she leaned in to hear what the secret was. “ what is it,” she asked. Lex whispered , “ all magic potions taste bad.” She looked down at her cup in amazement and quickly downed it , scrunching up her nose, “eww.” He nodded ,” i know here eat some icecream.” She quickly began eating it and sniffled, “ daddy my throat hurts.” Lex looked at her with concern, “ i know sweetie, but it takes a while for the magic to work so you’ll have to rest for a while alright.” She nodded and snuggled down into the couch before asking, “ daddy, can you sit with me?” He smiled, “ of course, want me to put on a movie first.” She nodded quickly instructing me on the movie she wanted to watch. He popped it in and sat next to her, pulling her close. He didn’t care if he got sick, all he wanted was for her to feel better.

I told Libby about you making a story based on an idea of hers and she told me one of the recent Lex dreams she had. She mentioned it was "snowing cats and dogs" (y'know like the phrase "it's raining cats and dogs") outside and she woke Lex up to show him. It was a simple but sweet dream and I figured I'd share it with you. Love ya! <3

It was three o clock in the morning and Lex was sound asleep, but Libby wan’t. She was gazing outside at the huge snowstorm that had started. She smiled brightly as she watched the snow fall all around, she knew she had to tell her Dad all about it so they could enjoy it together. SHe slipped out of her room and ran quietly to his room. After slowly opening the door she tip toed over to his bed and climbed over to him, poking his shoulder, “ daddy wake up.” Lex moaned and rolled over , one eye popping lazily open, “ hey princess, what are you doing up so early?” She smiled and clapped her hands together, “ it’s snowing cats and dogs outside.” He smiled and chuckled lightly, “ is it now? well lets go see it.” He slowly got out of bed and held her hand and she pulled him to a big window that was in their living room. He smiled, “ wow, it is pretty isn’t i.” Libby nodded quickly and smiled, “ i know it’s super pretty, i want to go outside but it’s super cold.” Lex thought a moment then said, “ well how about i make some hot chocolat and you go get your fuzzy blanket, and we’ll open that front window up. Libbys eyes winded with excitement, “ yes yes yes.” She scuttled off to get her blanket as Lex began putting some milk into a pot to make some nice hot chocolate.

Lex walked into the living room with two cups of hot chocolate that had lots of marshmallows in them. “ Ready,” he asked handing her the cup. Libby nodded in her fortress of blankets and pillows. Lex nodded back and opened up the front window. He cuddled next to her and they both sat there, enjoying the snow, untill they both fell asleep
