Genderqueer Flag Redesigns!

hello everynyan. Happy prideeeee <3

as someone who used to try and identify with the genderqueer label, I wanted to put a spin on a redesign for the flag. When I tried identifying under the label, I hated and felt uncomfortable with the fact that flag was so similar to the TERF flag.

SO, for past me and any genderqueer who wishes to be distanced from being maybe percieved as a terf, redesigns incoming!!

The first I really just went with- I knew I wanted to switch the colors of the genderqueer flag, and I also tried going with a newer color palette, mostly just for me preference :] But don't worry! If you prefer the regular genderqueer color palette, then I have just the flag for you!!

For this one I quite literally just flipped the colors. So yeah :] Some other versions of this 3 striped flag with some different colors can also be found under the read more line <3

So yeah, feel free to use any of these if you so wish, and I just wanna say: happy pride month, and fuck TERFs :]

Everysexual

One who identifies with every sexuality in some way at least a little. One may feel stronger connections to some labels than others or feel like all sexualities fit them the same.

The difference between this and pansexual is that pansexual is sexuality based on genderblindness, while everysexual is connections to all orientations

Reasons someone might identify with every orientation:

- genderfluid and or abrosexual

- CDD system

- a fluid identity

- another form of orientation nonconformity

- contradictory labels

- and more! Identity is personal

Rottengender Flag

Rottengender: A xenogender (noungender) where one's gender relates to rot/decomposition. It could also be when one's gender feels like it's rotting.

The stripes have no particular meanings, they are simply colored to look like rotting organic material.

okay so uh. here’s a thing i made, it’s called vesbian. it’s an equivalent to the word “gai,” for those who are lesbians, but in a nonbinary (+ genderqueer, binaryweird, etc…) way.

there’s already the terms gai and strayt to have this for general gay / straight experiences with nonbinary and genderqueer people, so i wanted to make one that was specific to lesbianism and those adjacent to it. while lesbians have always been included under gai too, some people might prefer the more specific word, just like how lesbians have always been included in "gay," but also have their own word. gai is also just fantastic shorthand and has been for a while, and vesbian can serve the same purpose for nonbinary lesbians and similar groups.

in my mind, the term is pronounced like “vehss-bee-an,” as opposed to lesbian being “lehzz-bee-an” because it reminds me a lot of the word “vesper,” but i don’t care at all how other people prefer to say it. the flag is inspired by the gai flag, but i wanted to have a mix of blues and orange / red.
