A very, very Happy Trans Day of Visibility to my fellow self-made people; never forget that the world is better for your existence✨💝
🥂
(disclaimer: i still consider myself aro-ace)
Once upon a time that lives only in the very back of my head now, visibility - acceptance - welcomes - were just words to me, for the most part. Any gleam of solace was something to be stolen in odd fistfuls and then stuffed into a corner of my heart as quickly as it came.
Two precious little pins, all too often kept hidden deep in a backpack pocket or an old pencil case, more so than they could ever be worn. The blazing colours of my name, my name, blended and brushed on the keyboard of a distant friend or the lips of a classmate. A tiny refuge carved into the internet where only those who mattered could find me.
It felt like - not a call, no, nothing so loud - but a murmur just for me. Not a dazzling burst of sun, but a streetlight’s glow upon a rain-jewelled pavement. Messages left in invisible ink.
We know you’re there. We see you. And we’re here too.
Some of it, I don’t really need anymore. Yet so many do, far too many. So today it’s them that I think of, wrapping those thoughts in my embrace, warming that embrace with murmurs of my own, and maybe, just maybe, some part of it will make it through to where it’s longed for the hardest and deserved the most.
I’m here. I see you.
I know you’re there.

These are not empty words. I am not saying this to make myself look like a good or “woke” person. I genuinely love you. Even if we are not mutuals or don’t follower one another, even if you have no idea who I am. Whether you believe it or not, you deserve love.
I love You.
“You know what? No. No, you don’t get to tell me who or what I get to be. It’s my choice. So you can either accept it or ignore it. But I’m worth more than your opinions.”

Buttons I’ve added to my collection recently. More pics of buttons to come I own like 300 of them PFFT. xD <33
First pic: Various Marvel and DC buttons from the Fanboy store in my hometown. They sell lots and lots of fun buttons.
Second Pic: Pansexual pride and “My Pussy My Choice” buttons from Jaxxis Buttons on Etsy.
Third Pic: A whole set of Neko Atsume theme Avengers/Marvel buttons, which came from kaldago on Etsy. They even included an extra Spideycat! <3
Fourth Pic: Civil War Team Cap and Team Iron Man buttons from The Square Penguin on Etsy.
Fifth Pic: Stucky buttons! The two bottom buttons: The blue Cap one says “I’m with you...” and the silver WS one says “...til the end of the line.” (I got two plain WS ones so I can wear one on my bag and not worry about losing it. XD <3 They came from FoxInTheBoxArt on Etsy.
I went to my first Pride today 🙂
luckily, string + the flag from your wall = instant pride cape
It was an absolutely fantastic, beautiful, musical rainbow - they had a whole bunch of cool tents and stalls set up including Pride cupcakes for £1 each, a Dog Hydration Station plus doggie goodie bags, sign language interpreters and a sensory tent - and it served as a very sweet reminder of something that I hope you guys will always remember: you are never alone and the world is full of people who share your colours, even if you can't always see them.
also i got to see an in-the-flesh (in-the-fur?) furry for the first time in my life. 'twas glorious.
also-also please appreciate my little kirby backpack guardian
The horror
It's been a long time since I posted anything here (there's been Stuff™ happening: working full time, Christmas things, contracting the Dreaded 'Rona, my laptop finally giving up the ghost - hence why this one is hand-drawn - etc.) so if anyone's still here...henlo and welcome back to my little bits of silliness)
that blob on my head is meant to be a beanie haha
