harmless matching making fun.

PART TWO

Time was ticking, the night was vanishing and he still had so many candies left, yikes!

Cupidyoon fully intended to ship Tee (@lgctee) with another V&A member, but decided the Jintee fangirls were way too scary to mess with. Tee got his soda candy first and Cupid took his sweet time walking around before finally dropping the matching one in Jinseo (@lgcjinseo)'s palm. The patience couple, he shall call this ship, because it was sailing at the speed of molasses. At this point, Seyoon might end up with four kids before these two even get any.

Seyoon noticed some sort of tension between Minkyu (@lgcminkyu) and Jihan (@lgcjihan). He figured any tension could be good tension and sometimes a little resentment made better sex. Regular cherry flavored candies went to this couple - just make up already!

The blueberry candy in his hand was reserved for Seunghyun's match but honestly, Seyoon was struggling. Seunghyun (@shxlgc) was his childhood friend, occasional enemy and an annoying twat. Nobody really deserved Seunghyun, take that sentence however you would like. So with a grin, Cupid approached his dear Mushushu with both blueberry candies in hand. He slipped them into Seunghyun's pocket with a wink. "I am sure you would rather take care of yourself." Hey, at least he didn't say the F word out loud.

One party boy deserved another and Seyoon simply knew Hyuk (@lgchyuk) and Haneul (@lgchxneul) would have fun together. In fact, he might want to join them. For partying, of course. Pineapple flavored candy for them, Seyoon's precious dance all night ship.

Now, what about Maylin (@lgcmaylin), dear Maylin. She hated most guys, didn't she? Seyoon handed her a peppermint candy because she spicy and looked around for her perfect match. Oh, maybe Eunwoo (@lgceunwoo)! The guy was hot and pretty quiet from what Seyoon remembered. If a man didn't talk much, he had less chance of saying the wrong thing, perfect!

Seyoon was pretty certain Max (@lgcxmax) was already dating a dude, but real life boyfriends didn't count for this Halloween game. After some contemplation, he decided to match Max with Kai (@lgckai) and came up with a whole dramatic story about two hardworking trainees, constantly stuck in evaluations together. Slowly developing feelings, stealing looks across the room and...Yes, it could be fun with their grape flavored candy.

Who was left?

Seyoon tossed Rowon (@rowonlgc)'s black cherry into the air and caught it back in his hand. Oh Rowon, this one was so very tricky.

So focused on his thoughts, he nearly ran into Soyoun (@lgcsoyoun). "Ah, I am sorry." He bowed his head like a good lil trainee but slipped the idol a light pink candy he believed to be cherry-blossom flavored. One of the more unique ones he'd gotten. The matching one he'd given to Ichika (@lgcichika) onee-sama earlier. Certain fanfics may have changed his favorite ships forever. Long live Ichiastrid.

His basket was nearly empty and the last couple to be matched with Hanie (@lgchanie) and Hyun (@lgchyun). They were both young, cute and could make an adorable puppy pair with their vanilla-flavored candy. In fact, if those two ever debut together, he might ship it.

     their japanese comeback is decidedly different from their korean releases thus far, and if it wasn’t already clear when they got their song, it definitely was now that they started filming their music video. their concepts have all been elegant and pretty, with music videos full of sparkly dresses and pastel colors, but this is unlike the things they’ve done in the past.

     not that hyejoo is complaining, because she’s always preferred concepts like this. she likes crystallis’s songs, and she’s always felt lucky that she debuted with a vibe that suits her, but when she looks back at all the songs she practiced as a trainee, they were mostly girl crush-esque songs, so it’s nice to be able to do it again even if it’s only a little bit.

     “this is kind of funny, isn’t it?” she laughs as she points to the giant pink sparkly gun that she’s holding as a prop, then looks back at ichika. “i especially like the heart shaped rhinestones.” hyejoo had been a little confused when the director handed this to her and told her that she would be filming with it in her next scene, but she supposes that with the black leather outfits it kind of makes sense that they would have something like this.

     “i kind of like this spy concept, it’s a little different than what we’ve done, but i think our fans will still like it, right?” she says it because she does believe it, but also because she’s looking for confirmation, just so she knows that someone else thinks the same way.

what are the top 5 most used apps on your phone?

Oh, hang on, let me check. ... Upon checking, I use KakaoTalk the most. I have to keep in touch with the rest of Crystallis when we're doing separate things! Also, I use it to talk to my family back in Okcheon and in England.  Second of all, YouTube. I check how people have been reacting to our performances, and it’s easy to get sidetracked when there are many interesting videos to watch. Aaaah, I also have MelOn app, so I can listen to music either for choreography ideas or just to get me in the right mood for whatever it is I must do. Instagram is also here, because I love looking at what my favorite designers and artists post as well. Finally... At the risk of judgment, lately, I've been playing Tears of Themis. It's an interesting game where you are a lawyer who solves cases alongside four very attractive men. My gacha luck isn't the greatest though...

what is the most random note in the notes app?

A list of souvenirs I should get in each city or country in the world. When we interact with international fans, I always make it a point to ask this so I know what gifts to bring home for the other members of Crystallis, my family, and my friends. Lately, I've gotten to travel to Paris, Japan, Switzerland, and America, and having that list gave me a good idea of what to get. I make sure to add things to that list, depending on what I discover during the limited free time I have abroad. The latest thing I added was this peanut snack thing in Chiba? Someone please let me know what it's called? It looked so good, and I regret not having time to get that one.

what was the last message or call you’ve received and who was is from?

Aaahh... The last person who texted me was Daeho — sorry! I meant Type Zero's Derek. I'm not sure where he is right now, but apparently he saw a rose which reminded him of me. It was really sweet of him to say that. And no! I didn't blush when he texted that. Okay, fine. Maybe I did.  The rose itself was really beautiful, so I am flattered that it reminded him of me. What's going on between us? I'm afraid that is a secret between Dae—Derek and me for the time being. All I can admit is that he makes me smile a lot. We can gossip about Derek some other time. I promise!

what were the last 5 songs that you’ve listened to?

Lately, I’ve been looking for songs I can choreograph, and the latest one that caught my attention was BoA sunbaenim’s “Fox”. It’s a fun song, and I feel like it would be fun to work on that. And the stylist who went with me to Paris played this a lot, so hearing this takes me back to Couture Week. I have also been listening to Kim Jaehwan sunbaenim’s “I Wouldn’t Look For You.” No, it’s not because I was the love interest in the music video.  I’ve been a fan of Kim Jaehwan sunbaenim since his debut, and even if I didn’t appear in the music video, it would be on my playlist. I’ve also been listening to the Newsies soundtrack, and “Seize the Day” is my favorite song so far. “That That” by Siwoo sunbaenim is also there, for obvious reasons. Of course, our own song “Butterfly.” Please continue giving us lots of love!

Seriously? Do you really want to see how far my cringey-ness can go? Well then, don’t say I didn’t warn you when I say we will both regret this. Obviously, my recent searches were myself, Crystallis fan art, type zero derek, seong byungho newsies, and where to buy leather paint in seoul. I’d rather not talk about the two men in there for now, especially when I’m still supposed to be mad at one of them. But I will explain the fan art and the leather paint. As an ex-DBSD fan artist, I wanted to see what sort of fan art our fans would have made for us. It’s still weird being on the other side of the scale, but our fans are very talented! I almost broke my cover a few times because I wanted to compliment the artists. As for the leather paint, my mom stained one of her expensive leather bags with cheese and kimchi juice, and it’s impossible to remove the stains. So I’m going to paint over the stain once I remove the smell.

it hadn’t been long since alex had managed to learn japanese enough to be able to read the letter he had ‘found’ from ichika, it also hadn’t been long since he had managed to even build up even the slightest bit of courage in order to actually give her some sort of response and confess to her either. after running through all of the possible ways of properly confessing to her, alex ended up just deciding on having her meet him so that he could do this face to face, rather than doing things through a call or text which even he knew wasn’t proper to do.

after sending ichika a few texts, one making sure she wasn’t busy, another to see if she could meet with him and the last being with the location of where to meet, he made his way to the park. why did he choose the same exact location in which the two had a bit of an ‘accident’ last year? well, maybe it was because of that ‘accident’ being the beginning of everything, at least for him, that was sort of a more positive memory rather than a negative one after finally realizing that he actually felt something for ichika. it was also a location in which he knew no one would be at this late at night so it would be easier for them to get by without risking getting caught by anyone and risking some scandalous article by the next morning.

as he arrives at the spot, alex can’t help but pace back and forth while also keeping cautious and checking his surroundings every now and then to make sure no one else was around. yeah, he may look suspicious especially while wearing a facemask and cap to make some sort of attempt to ‘disguise’ himself, but seeing as no one was really out here he knows that he’s just worrying a little more than he should be. only when he recognizes ichika as she approaches where he’s at does he finally stop his pacing, standing in place and inhaling a deep breath before slowly exhaling. “hey... sorry to have you come out here so late like this but.... i wanted to tell you something....” he stops as he waits to hear what she says, feeling the way his heart pounds in his chest while he chews on his bottom lip behind the mask.

so, this took FOREVER to even upload and i know why, now that it’s done. girls get up to 4k quality unlike type zero and v&a (yt really said girl’s supremacy lol)..
