collaboration & mentorship — behind the spotlight interview
dom's first mistake was choosing an energy drink to sit down with. his second mistake came right after the cameras started rolling. see, ever since he was a wee little lad, his elder sisters had beaten the concept of ladies first! into him, so usually, dom would be particular about that. but something about today—be it the jitters from his drink or from his nerves—got him flipping the script: he drew the first card.
fortunately, he picked a good question to cover up the misstep: "if you had to mentor someone new, what would you focus on?" there's really no better person to ask than the leader of nova, @lgcsena. dom lowered the card and began fiddling with the edge. a nervous habit—one that he quickly caught and stopped. "i'll be debuting soon." could he say that? surely, there was no need for secrecy since he already moved out of the trainee dorms. "i'm not sure what to expect from it."
"i mean—i've trained for four years now. i'm comfortable performing and being on stage, but it's ..." his eyes flitted to the producers in the background. "... different. i think. being in a group. an established group, too."
