Was Liam's kidney story true? This is something that's always confused me because I've read some things were fans said it was 100% legit and then that tweet Liam said about the kidney growing back. Then I've seen other things were it was either a misunderstanding or faked by 1DHQ. For it being so clear cut apparently I sure do miss a lot lol. I just keep finding mixed stories on it.
I think it’s a strange thing to make up. That being said, from the health world (which is my world) kidneys don’t magically regrow. It was either a miracle of God, or, more likely, the kidney was not functioning at normal levels so someone explained it to little Liam (and his parents) as having one kidney to make it understandable. In reality, it was likely that Liam had one working kidney (working at expected levels) and then later in life, testing showed it worked normally (with growth of the kidney tissue as his body grew).
