Thank you so much for the ask anon! In response to this post!
I have already answered the first question in another ask, so I will link the reply below, and the answer to the other question can be found below the cut!
🏆 - Best friends (past, current or future)
⚙️ - Coworkers/boss
For this specific question, there are a few ways I could answer it, Violet technically has a few jobs with various bosses and coworkers within my AU at different phases in her life. When she’s a teenager she works in her aunt’s restaurant. In her late teens/early twenties she is a model for Donita. Then, starting at age 20, she works for Zach, and once Zach is redeemed, Zach and Violet join forces with the Wild Kratts Crew.
But for the sake of simplicity I am going to focus on her primary/most important job within my AU. It’s not much of a surprise, because it’s a huge component of my Wild Violets AU, but Violet’s boss is Zach!
Zach’s the CEO of Varmitech Industries, his own company, and although he lets HR do most of the work for him in the hiring process, he’s ultimately the one calling all the shots within the company, including who he hires as his personal assistant, which happens to be Violet.
Until Zach hires Violet as his personal assistant, he’d never had a human serving in that role prior to her, he’d simply let his Zachbots act in that role. But once Zach realizes he cannot deny his feelings for Violet, he knows he has to have her within arm’s length at all times; he can’t be away from her.
So, he essentially makes the position of personal assistant just for her. He’d proposed the idea to her in an emotionally charged moment, and when she agrees, which Zach did not think she would, Zach then proceeds to make the position a reality. He goes through all the proper channels with HR and the board members of his company to create the official position and get Violet on the payroll.
At first there were some individuals who questioned Zach’s motives, trying to dissuade him from hiring Violet “on a whim,” but once they see that she’s actually working with the best interests of not only Zach but the company in mind, which is more than they can say for Zach, they accept her with open arms. And, frankly, most of the HR staff and board members like her much better than Zach anyway, which he knows, but they will never admit this to Zach for fear of losing their jobs.
As for coworkers, I have not explored this side of Violet’s work life at Varmitech Industries in depth yet, but I feel like, generally speaking, Violet has little to no close contact with fellow employees at Varmitech Industries aside from Zach. This is due to his desire to keep her close to him at all times.
Violet will interact with any of the coworkers/employees that Zach does, but it’s rarely on her own; Zach and Violet are very much a package deal. There are times when Zach is away battling the Kratts or ill that he has sent Violet on his behalf to attend meetings, but the coworkers with whom she is interacting are not individuals she’s intimately acquainted with, and due to Zach’s volatile temper, they are likely entering and exiting the corporation at an alarming rate.
The one coworker I can say Violet interacts with on a regular basis aside from Zach would be @quasarzt’s self insert Liam Maplewood (His ref sheet/info can be found here!). Eli and I have bounced ideas back and forth about how an AU would look with Liam and Violet coexisting, and Liam would definitely be, not only a great coworker, but an excellent friend to Violet.
In Liam’s position of Head Industrial/Organizational Psychologist of Varmitech Industries, he definitely helps Violet on a daily basis with managing Zach/his interactions with other employees. And when Violet and Zach lose Alexandria/separate, he is there to help them not only in their personal lives, but also their work lives. Because both relationships had to be rebuilt for Zach and Violet in the aftermath of their loss.
Soooo! I hope that answers your question anon! Thank you so much for asking!
