I wrote this while meditating in nature with Him, after offering a libation of fresh water and admiring each little violet that bloomed in my yard, reminding me of Him. π
I love meditating because it allows me to connect with Lord Dionysus, but I especially love doing so during the warm season, outside in the nature β‘π
Thank you, my Lord, Dionysus DendritΔs, for who Iβve become since You started guiding my life and helping me face all the daily mess.
Youβve helped me find reasons to smile, to feel strong, and to be proud, even in the smallest moments. Every spring breeze reminds me of You my Lord, and I cherish every second.
Thank you Dionysus, for stepping into my life and giving me the chance to see the world differently, especially when I thought there was no more hope.
All Hail Lord Dionysus. πππΊ
Performing a libation to celebrate Hekate's Deipnon, since it officially began at sundown.
Typically my rituals consist of silent or quiet prayers accompanied by a libation and a rhythmic ringing of a sistrum.
MENSTRUATION: UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF A SACRED CYCLE
To progress spiritually, it is necessary to correct certain old confusions. The woman in her menstrual period is not dirty, she goes through a particular state of intensity and energetic circulation.
What many have called impurity is the result of an incomplete interpretation of the phenomenon, often influenced by the fear of what was not understood.
Menstruation is like a period of deep regulation. A moment when the female body releases what it no longer has reason to be, readjusts its balances and gets ready for a new cycle. This blood is a visible sign of intelligent process of life.
That is why, in several ancient societies, the woman was temporarily distanced, not to exclude her, but to respect the nature of that passage and avoid disturbing or being disturbed by that intensity.
A simple law explains it: during menstruation, a woman is more emitted than in reception. Your field is wider, your sensitivity is greater, your intuition becomes more direct.
That's not a weakness. It's a max opening. This is why the thoughts, decisions, and prayers made during this period have a particular impact: they come from a less filtered, more truthful space.
At this level of understanding, it is necessary to introduce a fundamental concept: libation, which is an act of restitution, a movement by which one returns to the world of the living what must be returned in order to maintain balance. Menstruation is a natural libation.
The female body performs, without any additional rituals, what many people seek to imitate through external practices: a purification, a restitution, a rebalance.
Each cycle is a silent offering: it eliminates excesses, releases burdens, restores the ability to begin again. The woman dialogues with the Earth through her cycle. Not by words, but by a living process.
This is why this period is not meant for performance, hustle or imposed effort. It's made for listening, intuition, recital.
What history turned into taboo was originally a knowledge of measure and respect for cycles.
Is a libation impure? Nope. She is sacred by her role. Therefore allow me to reestablish a correct understanding: it is important to remember that the woman who menstruated is not on the margin of sacred. She goes through a passage where the sacred acts directly through the body.

My altar for Noumenia and Agathos Daimon, Gamelion 2024. Highest and central, we have Zeus Ktesios, He who brings bounty into our home. To the left is Hestia, who is eternally due a portion of all offerings. To the right is my Agathos Daimon, in the form of a cobra, which I consider an especially sacred snake. My libation is some delicious coffee and my offering is Gala apples (my favorite) and lavender colored daisies. My kathiskos for the month is also on the altar. When I move Zeus back to His regular place in my kitchen, the kathiskos will go too.
I burned a combination of royal amber, frankincense, and sandalwood oil, which actually caught on fire because I didn't realize I had gotten oil on the outside of the burner. It just isn't January without my annual Practice Fire Safety, Dumbass!!! reminder.
I separate my kathiskos into liquid and solid to prevent spoilage.
