Happy Imbolg /Lichtmess!
Here are some pictures from my second imbolc ritual. I performed this one in the evening. While the first one was mostly about my candles and cleaning (I also did a thorough cleaning of my room), this one was about me and my craft. As this is the time of initiations into covens, I use this time to (re-)dedicate myself to another year of witchcraft and exploring my own strength. Especially noteworthy was the fact that I started a new Book of Shadows (the one in the upper left corner) Thank you for reading and sharing

Happy Imbolc or Lichtmess to those who celebrate today. May your night be full of light and cleansing.
Today I consecrated all my new candles to bless them for my work. I mixed moonwater, two drops of rosemary oil, a pinch of sea salt and a pinch of eggshells and then used a small bundle of rosemary to splatter the mix onto the candles and pretty much everything that I work with, my mirrors, the shelf I keep the candles in, I even rubbed a small amount onto my wand. Be careful with this though since it might leave salt stains if you add salt! I also did a ritual in the evening which I'll post tomorrow I hope that everyone has a nice and fulfilling Imbolc
As the proverb goes:
“By the first day after St. Brigid's day Winter will be over, but if there's rain, snow or wind, it's going to last yet another 40 days.”
