Hello! I loved your writing for years but the Gio-verse has especially wormed it's way into my heart
I remember reading the first chapter when nothing else was out and being so intrigued. And then came the second chapter and I had convinced myself that the reason Mikey couldn't save Leo was that Gio had already saved him and brought him back later in the timeline. Congratulations Leo you're now the youngest brother to people you hardly recognize. Surely that will go well. Obviously that's not how it ended up going though🤣😅
There is something inherently bittersweet about The Archer that makes it so compelling. Obviously in the neutral timeline, where Gio's arrival sets off the chain of events that slowly and painfully bring the Hamato family back together. But also in the good timeline.
Gio loves his family and he loves his home. After meeting Leo alone there was nothing that could make him change his decision and let Leo die in the prison dimension. Nothing that could make him watch the rest of his family fall apart. But this home isn't his first home. And even though it's "better" he can't help but miss the version of Mikey who loved him first (maybe the first person to love him at all)
(he never even got to know that Raph and Donnie loved him too)
Anyway I love it a lot and I can't wait to see where it goes in the future

gio adores his family in the good timeline, he wouldn't give them up for anything. but he'll always miss neutral!mikey like a limb or a lung. his big brother, who loved him unconditionally (and who, like you said, was the first person to love him at all). he'll always carry mikey with him. he'll always, somewhere in the back of his mind, want to go back home
and while he doesn't believe he's the type of person that leaves an impression, the type of person that people think about after he's gone, he really is. and his big brother misses him very much

I have kind of an odd question for you. About a year ago you had a story about your OC named Bastian meeting his little sister for the first time. I don't know the context but it felt very manhwa romfan, except the father obviously favoring his new daughter seemed to actually had some.... Emotional consequences for his other children. But then Bastian mentioned something about a previous life?
Anyway I really enjoyed it. I've just been cradling your guy in my hands for like a year now but I barely know who he is. I was wondering if you'd be willing to give some backstory/context! Though I totally get if you don't want to

You were actually right on the nose! Me and a bunch of my friends wanted to make some rofan transmigrator ocs and decided to base them off of our pet peeves. Bastian was created out of my annoyance with fathers in rofans that, while doting on their daughters, tended to view their sons more as business partners. He's a very gentle very kind character, has high eq, values his relationships and especially family very deeply. He would be perfectly well-adjusted and normal if he hadn't transmigrated, but he did transmigrate so he ended up developing depression and a terrible self-sacrificial streak.
Backstory and other details under the cut:
In his first life, Bastian came from a large family with great parents, two older siblings and one younger, and a ton of extended family. He usually had to look after the younger cousins during family gatherings, but he didn't mind because he loved kids. He was also a teacher and had very strong opinions on what made a good romance.
After dying, he transmigrated into a baby in a novel he had read and promptly forgotten about because it was bad. In this life, he's the firstborn child of a grand duke with a younger brother, Cassidy. Later, while Bastian is fighting in the classic War in the North that every rofan has, his father adopts a little girl, Estella. That's where that drabble came in! Turns out the duke is capable of being a good dad but only to his new daughter while, as I said, he treats his sons closer to business partners, and Cassidy follows his lead in that respect.
Bastian is well-adjusted enough to harbor no resentment over it. He loves both of his new siblings (even though Cassidy doesn't seem to like him very much) and doesn't care much about the duke as his new father, but it's still just... sad and disappointing when he remembers having had a good loving family. He misses them a lot and struggles without that support system.
So that's all backstory/context! In no particular order here's a bunch of other Bastian facts + some transmigrator stuff:
he's good at it because he has to be but he is not cut out for the noble life of manipulation and lies and politics. he's also not very cut out for office work so basically being the eldest son of a grand duke is So Stressful for him
he meets another transmigrator when they're kids and they become good friends. years later he funds her shady information guild
the guild is called Lorem Ipsum Guild and in order to become a member you have to be able to tell the leader what it means (aka you must be a transmigrator to join lol)
being at the guild is pretty much his only reprieve in life. he doesn't get to go there often but when he does he's usually sleeping
the noble gossip circle believes he's in a Secret Homosexual Relationship with one of his fellow transmigrators because they're very close friends and said other transmigrator talks like a ml
they do end up together later on but it's an excruciatingly slow burn on account of Bastian being aspec and naturally affectionate while the other guy is satisfied with whatever Bastian wants
magic is a thing in this world and Bastian has shadow magic because of course he does. he is not fond of having shadow magic
none of the transmigrators are important characters in the novel they ended up in. the character of "Bastian" was the ml's childhood friend who only showed up to give exposition (Cassidy was a second ml tho rip). in this life Bastian and the ml don't really like each other so they don't interact much
So KH3 was released 5 years ago (which /can't/ be right but yet) I've recently been dragged back into the pits of Kingdom Hearts hell (affectionate) so I'm going to ask anyway.
How do you think everyone reacted when they realized that Sora Wasn't Coming Back (until he does, of course). Like, obviously Kairi and Riku, childhood best friends, are going to be devastated.
But how must Roxas, Ventus, and Zion feel. Having been a part of Sora for a time and in that way knowing him better than anyone else, but also never really getting to spend time with him despite all in some way owing their existence to him.
How do Terra and Aqua feel? Like obviously sad because this kid was a huge part in saving them and a huge part of Ventus, but barely got to interact with him at all. Especially Terra, who literally never interacted with him
Of course there's also Lea and Namine, but I think their relationships with Sora were less complicated/more resolved. What do you think?

I just- how would he even explain that? A mark on the back of the neck can be explained by a hug, but I can't think of many reasons for someone to fully grab you by the throat in the first meeting other than an impromptu choking session
At least once there has been an uncomfortable conversation where a concerned hunter tried to report Yoojin's Very Concerning Soulmark while STW sits there with his gloves conspicuously on like 😐

what makes it worse is that i imagine the marks stw leaves on people are black in color so it's not even. easy to hide. miserable experience. hyj has to start wearing high-collared shirts everywhere. he bitches about having to wear tight clothes but if stw tries to apologize he's immediately like NO NO IT'S FINE DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT
also i'm losing it over the thought of someone going oh my god we have to call the cops on whoever tried to choke you out. because. because everyone involved is probably a hunter. which means the cop they'll be calling is Chief Song Taewon,
