LUCKI Drops 'DaysB4Bad*' EP

Blessed with one of rap's most loyal fanbases, LUCKI frequently blesses his devotees with gifts. Today, the Multi-Platinum Chicago spitter delivers DaysB4Bad*, a new EP that teases the direction of his upcoming project, DR*GS R BAD. The 5-track EP is an immersive effort, featuring the room-enveloping production and mantra-like verses for which LUCKI is renowned. DaysB4Bad* welcomes guest spots from Lil Yachty, marking Tune and Boat's first collaboration since last year's "I Don't Care...", and from rising New Orlenas rapper Kkanii. His first album since 2024's GEMINI!, home to the GOLD-selling single "RIP," DR*GS R BAD is a wide-ranging effort that chronicles the rapper's complicated relationship with illicit substances, diving into the conflict between their positive effect on his creativity and negative effect on his state of mind. The upcoming album is LUCKI's most ambitious to date, subsuming high-wattage guests and a cadre of innovative producers, including regular collaborators like Brent Rambo and Bhristo, into his insular sound. DR*GS R BAD is the culmination of an era for LUCKI, who has been keeping busy by releasing singles like "I Don't Care..." ft. Lil Yachty, which earned notice from Pitchfork and racked up over 3.6 million views on its music video. In 2025, the West Sider remained tapped in with his hometown, dedicating "Free Mr. Banks" to Lil Durk and collaborating with the rising star Chuckyy on "Hotseat." In 2024, LUCKI released GEMINI! (613million streams to date), which debuted at #20 on the Billboard 200, #7 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, and #3 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart, home to fan-favorites like the viral "RIP" (105 million Spotify streams, #39 peak on TikTok's Top 50), recently certified GOLD, "Heavy On My Heart" (46 million Spotify streams), and "BBY Goat," his second collab with Future, following 2022's GOLD-selling "Kapitol Denim."
