Yesterday's change, came in the form of loosing my job. Company went belly up and everyone in turn, was let go. As I sat there in the conference room listening to our CEO, explain the logistics both random and nonsensical thoughts entered my head. The first was, déjà vu, as life would have it, this would be my third time down this road. Being a Creative has never been the most secure career. Nonsensical thoughts like, "But, I just started working out!" through me into a rabbit hole of fear. Fear, that I was now unemployed. Fear, that I worked so hard and couldn't possibly be here again. The day was stressful, emotional and unavoidable. Me and my colleagues hugged several times throughout the day, both in tears and in silence. Last night, my Husband took me to Red Lobster, where I proceeded to drown my thoughts in a Lobster Rita. New beginnings, happen all the time and some completely expected and harsh. Taking a few days to absorb this change, love myself more and planning my reinsertion into the world. I pray, this was a necessary change to bring a more auspicious and timely opportunity that could not of happened in any other way.
