Walk away from that one person who makes you feel special one day, but worthless the other. That one person that puts you on the side, but talks to you at their own convenience. Walk away from that one person who loves you temporarily just because they think it’s okay to do so. Walk away from that person who doesn’t give you answers. That one person who does not know what they want. You know, it’s okay not to know what you want. But when it comes to human beings and their hearts, you should. At times of confusion, we don’t know what we want from other people — that’s not the norm — but it happens. This is when you don’t get involved with them. It’s very simple, you know — people are not to be used and hopes are not be crushed. As sad as it may sound, it happens. There’s always that one person that doesn’t know what they want. That person who comes into your life and goes out of it as if they have all the right to do so. It’s only human to care for the person you have feelings for — that’s why we tend to always make excuses for those we love. We accept the bullshit and transform it into pretty excuses.We select what we want to hear from the person we love and what not. I know that I am not the only person who went through this. But when I did, some said I was blinded, others said I was naive — the truth is — I chose what I want to believe because when you love someone, you turn their bullshit into the prettiest excuses. I am not stupid, but people around me would definitely say that I was. They say “You’d do the impossible for the one you love”. Perhaps this is was my impossible. To give so many chances because I believed that the person in front of me has a good heart. Then the best part about disappointment is that you learn. You learn that not everyone out there has a good heart. You learn that people will walk all over you. And this is when you learn to walk away.
