Yeah, I have to agree with you there. Even though fans get mad at authors for pushing two characters without chemistry together simply for equality's sake, (see: Solangelo) we see the exact same thing happening in many fandoms without so much as a word.
-shrugs- Yep. People ship what they wanna ship, occasionally get pissy at the ships of others, and this would be the point where I bow out gracefully and return to my relatively conflict-free life.
imo it's probably a ship because they're the only two females with a physical form.
But there’s no real chemistry, nothing shippable, no romance. I love representation as much as the next person, but I just can’t get behind a ship solely for the point of it, especially when there’s not really any canonical evidence, at least not to my eyes.
But hey, ship what you wanna ship! I don’t have a problem with the ship itself, I just don’t ship it. Ship on!
I just finished mini episode three and OH MY GOD. Can I please hug Lovelace? Please? I just... Maybe if they could explain to her, explain that Hera isn't just AI, that she is part of the team. Oh my god she's just so broken and sad she's been through so much only to come back for it to be the same but worse??? She doesn't deserve this, not at all. Lovelace is my new fave and she must be protected at all costs. *curses you but also thanks you for getting me into this*
Lovelace can not be negotiated with and I don’t think she needs protection but you go Glen Coco.
