Ran out of water on my Yosemite Falls hike. Filled this baby up with a small creek running down the mountain. Fresher than that Poland spring ;)

Dismantling the Sawyer Mini and the Lifestraw water filter…what’s inside? The Sawyer Mini water filter is a sealed cartridge with no way of getting to the inside without cutting into it.
Kenya has been a thrilling experience so far. A cultural immersion! We have already visited six schools and seen firsthand how many of these children live day to day at their schools. It really has made me appreciate so much the little conveniences I use to have at my own schools like running water. . . Up until now I didn’t know that some children do not have running water at their schools. You hear about it all the time, but until you see it face to face it doesn’t sink in. On our last school we visited we got to journey down to the river where the girls and boys source the water. It was a 10 minute steep hike from the school. These children carry gallons of water on their heads. I tried to do it myself and wow my head hurt afterwards. To think that some of these girls can balance this water is impressive. . . So happy to be working with @lifestraw to help these children have safe water to drink rather than the potential dirty water from the streams. . . #lifestrawpartner #lifestraw (at Kenya) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtkSKNHnAqE/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1m1mxxsfzfzqk
