This is my first published Nightwing fic, technically! @whumperless-whump-event

His lungs burned immediately, and he began to wheeze, the world tilting dangerously. Nightwing tumbled backwards, desperate to get to fresh air. He reached for his rebreather, but the dizziness made it hard to get on properly. After a small struggle with the strap, he got it on as three thugs came into view with masks on.

- I think childhood friends Nikolai and Fyodor is one of my favorite things ever...I love the idea of Fyodor being sickly even back then, and Nikolai has gotten so used to it that he can tell the day before if Fyodor is coming down with something

- Fyodor is always like hmm no. That can't be right. But Nikolai is always right ofc and Fyodor is bedridden the very next day

- I think just visually I'm in love with the concept of Fyodor with an arm locked in Nikolai's when he's too weak to walk on his own

- (in a world where the Sky Casino has existed for more than 8 days lol) Fyodor tells Sigma he's coming to visit the casino to see how things are going (Sigma is losing his mind from the stress of this ofc) but once he gets there, Fyodor is too light headed from the pressure change to do much of anything💔 Sigma offers for him to lie down in one of their nicest suites and he's pretty much bedridden the whole time he's scheduled to be there😭

- Sigma is freaking out the whole time ofc he doesn't know Fyodor super well so he doesn't know this is normal for him

- Sigma is probably great at taking care of him/a great caretaker in general but he does Very Bad under stress so he's all over the place. Fyodor is too sick to notice
