MUSIC THEORY RANT TIME!

I was going to make this post another time to spread out my posts, but I'm bored soooo

If you listen to Scarlet Hollows' main theme, it's played on a guitar. And well you might be asking yourself what the guitar is playing?, WELL LUCKY YOU BECAUSE 2 OF MY HYPER FIXATIONS MIXED SO I LEARNED THE THEME ON THE GUITAR. *ahem * Where was I? OH YES SO THE GUITAR IS ARPEGGIATING A Em6 CHORD, (arpeggiating is when you play the individual notes of a chord one after the other, instead of all at once) ANYWAYS Em6 CHORD ( E minor 6th not explaining what 6th means at least in this post )AND IF YOU SAW MY POST ABOUT HOW BENSON BOONE HAS A STABBY SONG NOT ONLY ARE THE LYRICS STABBY BUT DO YOU WANT TO KNOW THE CHORD THAT IS PLAYING IN THE BEGINING? Em6!! SO THE SONG ALSO SOUNDS LIKE THE SCARLET HOLLOW MAIN THEME! STILL FOLLOWING? I HOPE SO * breathe of air* SO IN MY STABBY SONG IM WRITING IT USES THE Em6 CHORD AND VARIATIONS OF THAT TO FIT IN WITH THE MAIN THEME AND THE OTHER SONG.

Hazbin Rant, from a slightly new perspective:

I know I've complained about this show plenty of times. I still do not like it. But I got a new job and I've been working here for over 2 months.

Ironically, I work at a hotel.

Anyway, something I've noticed about HH is that.. it has nearly zero staff.

Think about it:

Charlie is the owner (who does next to nothing)

Vaggie (still hate that name) is the... Security? Manager? I don't know

Husk is the bartender / concierge

Nifty is a housekeeper (the only one too, which is insane. For a hotel that big having only *one* housekeeper is ridiculous. No wonder that hotel is always murky looking. Nifty needs a crew)

Alastor is an investor (who also does poor marketing, apparently) and while he can summon objects out of nowhere for... reasons, I guess. He's so damn stubborn he's rarely ever helpful.

And... That's it.

There's no laundry crew, (unless you count Nifty for that as well, which again, way to overwork her)

There's no maintenance crew- can't you at least have Sir Pentious do that? I can tell you one thing, without a maintenance person, a hotel falls apart. It is Hell (edit: pun not intended)

There isn't even an actual front desk to check people in.

The few staff there is doesn't have clear uniforms.

On top of a lack of actual staff, the Hazbin hotel has *nothing* to do!

A hotel that size and that fancy is supposed to be luxurious.

There's not even a breakfast room! There's no pool, no art activities (which is commonly used in rehabilitation, by the way, so this hotel should have that) there's no designated outdoor area for pets.

What about complimentary soaps?

Like, for a hotel owned and run by literal royalty, this place is looking a lot like a glorified motel.

I get not all those details are necessary for a show, but I feel like a show about a hotel should have at least some hotel-based things in it other than a tall building.

I know this mostly feels like minor stuff, but it's something that's bothering me.

Admiration for friends

Do you ever just think of your friends and think” Wow they are so talented and cool and nice and sweet and funny I’m so happy they are in my life” And then you see them preforming their talents and being sweet nice and funny and then your heart skips a beat and your like “ THATS MY FRIEND I KNOW THEM WE ARE CLOSE YEAH IM FRIENDS WITH SOMEONE THAT COOL YAH WOW LOOK AT THEN GO SO PROUD” And don’t get me started when someone else says something good about your friend and you almost explode because you appreciate your friends so much and they they are the best people ever and you could yap for hours about them.

I might just be the only one worried about this and I might (probably) be overreacting, but I really, really, REALLY hope the Oni-press Cult Of The Lamb comic ISN'T over forever and we will be getting a continuation

One of the main reasons I was so into this comic is because I was so freaking excited and curious to find out what might happen when the Lamb and Narinder finally just DUKE IT OUT

But the comic left on a HUGE CLIFFHANGER?? And implied that it's up to US the READERS TO DECIDE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT????

THAT'S WHAT THE GAME IS FOR

I want to see what happens next with Ratau, if Aym and Baal get involved (because as far as I remember, they've had literally NO LINES in the entire comic series so far) and I want to see how the grumpy eldritch cat man copes with mortal life!!!!

Playing an interior design game that features player voting and you (them) fucks just loooove beige minimalism don't you. Nah, you hate my coral colored pillow arrangements but the second I change it to the most boring grey beige known to man you suck ups come RUNNING to give me three outta three hearts. You all are BORING.

Oh so I can't make my living room dark with mahogany, copper, and dark oak accents, but YOU'RE getting three hearts on a bedroom that's just shades of white???? Ohhh so colorful. We have Eggshell, off white, light grey, light beige, salt, and Oh!!!! You accented it with fucking KEYSTONE. You are just SO fucking revolutionary and BOLD, aren't you, SHARON????

This game's audience is middle aged white women and grandmas and I have beef with fucking all of them.
