   L knows light is Kira so he KNOWS light is leaving the messages, but since the task force still dosent believe him he can’t actually get mad at light abt it, so L just has to be next to him all day and pretend he’s not fuming abt his system getting repeatedly hacked

I don't understand the hate towards Lawlight's age gap. Sure, 7 years apart is a great deal and no normal 17 year old should be dating a 24 year old. And no normal 17 year old should commit guiltless mass murderer.

I'm sorry people, are we seriously worried that Light Yagami, a.k.a mass murderer Kira, a.k.a God of the New World, a.k.a second smartest person on the planet, a.k.a old enough to be convicted and sent to DEATH, is what, not old enough to understand power dynamics and enter this relationship with fully informed consent?

Light toying with power dynamics, especially with L is at least 46% of the show.

Saw someone saying that it was weird to ship them because a 24 year old and a 17 year old are at "two drastically different stages on their lives". Normal ones, sure, but bro, bro Light Yagami and L Lawliet are not normal people. That's the plot of the show. They ARE going through the same deal. There's a whole ass song about it in the musical. They're two sides of the same coin.
