My Opinion on;
Character in general: Jason Todd as a Robin is a creature made of sunshine and joy and deep, crippling insecurities and he deserves a lot of food and hugs and to be told he’s good enough.How they play them: Flawlessly. They’ve struck a perfect balance between sass, sincerity and insecurity and honestly I love their blog so much. My baby Jay <3The Mun: One of my best friends, and a gift in my life. I’m so glad I met you, Danny.
Do I:
RP with them: Hell yes.Want to RP with them: MORE THREADS -bangs cup on the table-
What is my;
Overall Opinion: Everything you could want or need in a Jason blog, especially if there’s a lack of smart, precocious, well-written baby Jason Todd in your life. A must-follow and a joy on the dashboard, or skype, or anywhere else.

it’s also totally and 100% my opinion, I’m not trying to push this on anyone. it’s just how I interpret Damian.
As much as I like to believe in happy families and mama Talia, I firmly believe than Damian is extremely emotionally damaged from her upbringing. I’m all for happy AUs, because Talia is a great character. But Damian was bordering on sociopathy when Bruce took him in, and that speaks volumes about his emotional state of being. I know it’s not something popular to discuss in this fandom, but I believe Damian shows signs of neglect and, possibly emotional abuse, from his unconventional (to say the least) childhood.
For one, he’s missing some serious developmental markers as a ten year old. He has zero interest in his peers, which arguably comes from a higher level of maturity and lack of common interest, but personally I see it as a serious warning flag. Having no social interest means he’s socially insecure and has a clear attachment issue to the adults in his life.
Being separated from Talia time and time again, passed from trainer to trainer, and given no opportunity from social connections or emotional development, Damian exhibits Reactive Attachment Disorder, which means he’s unable to form healthy attachments to parents and caretakers. This usually happens from needs of comfort, safety, nurturing, and affection aren’t met. It’s controversially diagnosed in children over 5, but given his childhood circumstances it’s quite possible he has this disorder to some degree.
When Damian first comes to Bruce, he does not seek comfort and does not react when comfort is given, he does not smile, he watches social situations very carefully but does not engage, he does not ask for help or support, his irritability and withdrawal are mostly unexplained (if you don’t chalk them up to core personality), and he doesn’t involve himself in activities normal for his age.
He’s improved a hell of a lot since he moved in with Bruce, but this kid is damaged as fuck and honestly, being Robin is one of the worst possible ways to try and heal that. I could go on and on- in fact, if someone wanted me to, I’d be happy to dust off my developmental psychology and take the podium, but for now this is as long as I’m willing to go.
amusement tugging at the amazon’s lips, there was no denying the rather broad smile on her face--she’s bent down to be at appropriate conversing height with the young bird ( despite all his best efforts, he remained rather small, even for one so young ). “and you thought me the person to ask about this?” even if she wasn’t quite so fond of bruce’s little bird’s, there was little chance of her ever turning down a chance to play a joke on the man--he was far too severe, even for their line of work. surely it wouldn’t kill him to smile once in a long while. “i suppose i could be of assistance.”
“So, what you’re saying is, we can light it on fire, it’s just illegal. Jay, get the matches.” Everyone has their own notion of blending in, after all, and Jace figures his is as good as any.”
I feel so fucked up posting this, but Bird Song by Florence and the Machine
But he sang louder and louder inside the house,And no I couldn't get him out.So I trapped him under a cardboard box.stood on it to make him stop.I picked up the bird and above the din I said"That's the last song you'll ever sing".Held him down, broke his neck,Taught him a lesson he wouldn't forget.
[ Jason fell through the portal, arms flailing and mouth open in a loud yelp. He rolled when he hit the ground, coming to a stop after a few feet. He’d done his best, but the breath was still knocked out of him, and it felt like fire licked up his back from where he’d landed heavily on his ass. ]
[ The shimmering light above him disappeared, leaving him in the darkness of a Gotham alley. The same Gotham alley he’d been falling into before the light appeared, though slightly less grimy and terrible. ]
[ The ex-robin had been shoved into enough alternate universes to know exactly what this was, so he felt no fear. Only mild annoyance. ]
